Oh God yes. I took Mahler's 7th for MAD granted and want to see the score for it now without having to download and study it like I did for Mahler's 2nd and 3rd Symphonies.
I'm going to see this in September. Cannot wait omg!!! update: I saw it and throughout the entirety of the fourth movement, there was just a continuous stream of tears down my face. Not an exaggeration. Also loved the 3rd movement, even if the counterpoint was just to spite the critics who said he couldn't do it!!!

После 1 части просто люди начали уходить, это же бред, при чем даже не дожидаясь конца части просто уходили из зала. Между 2 и 3 частями ушла где-то пятая всего зала, который и так не был заполнен. И не смотря на то, что ведущий 2 раза очень попросил выключить звук на телефонах ради Малера, все равно в финале 3 части у кого-то громко зазвенел телефон, при чем не переставая. Без всего такого прошел только финал, к сожалению. В конце заплакали 1 скрипка, я и несколько человек из зала. В конце все молчали минуту, потом уже аплодисменты. Дирижёра было жаль, он все эти уходы видел. Перед покиданием сцены показал партитуру и указал на имя Малера. Можешь посмотреть видео концерта на сайте московской филармонии имени Чайковского (7 февраля). Я не знаю, что думать об этом концерте. Образцовое исполнение симфонии, сопровождающееся уходами из зала женщин около 50 лет. Это видел и оркестр, и дирижёр, и ведущий.
Just love this symphony. Outstanding! I must say, Mahler was certainly a guineas. His music is something you never get tired of listening to. At least not me. I must say, it's so sad Mahler never got to hear this. Anyways, thank you so much for uploading this magnificent recording.

Es lo más terminal que sa haya escrito jamás. En el primerr movimiento es más evidente. Malher intuía el holocausto. El segundo movimiento parece, bastante burlesco. El tercer movimiento guarda más furia, se desatan los acontecimientos. El último movimiento guarda el parecer del futuro Mesías con respecto a este hecho: jamás visitará el Museo en Memoria del Holocausto, jamás se guardará nada con respecto a los alemanes (al contrario se deleitará en el uso del alemán), y además el recuerdo de ésto se manifiesta en la figuración de 6 notas conjuntas (sol, la b, sol, fa#, sol, sol) que se repite hasta la saciedad. Es el recuerdo de algo lejano que no afecta ya jamás, y además con el carácter añadido va muriendo lentamente (ahora sí) hasta pppp. Así todo será aceptado, la tonalidad del final no es la misma que al principio y el humo del holocausto se fundirá con el nitrógeno del aire, siendo así pequeño pero denso, hacia un nuevo significante, con una lentitud de Adagio, con un sentido del nuca más, pero con un matiz que tiene algo de humano. ❤
