    Known as, “The Sickness” - this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Supercharged LT4/650HP 5-SPD Custom is the ultimate G-machine.
    The exterior of this car is car is almost indescribable with its stealth appearance. It’s the definition of rolling artwork. The body is extremely straight with excellent gap lines throughout. Countless hours were invested in the body taking it to a high level. It sports a factory style cowl hood that makes the car look like its moving when it’s standing still. The front windshield moldings were flush mounted. The drip rails, door handles and trunk were shaved for a smooth appearance. The body was re-finished with Jet Black paint which dresses the body lines perfectly. The ocean deep paint was recently detailed to a show quality shine and looks wet. It was outfitted with all new tinted glass that is crystal clear. The front windshield trim, vent glass trim and rear window trim was beautifully restored. The fabricated front grill is from a 1956 Chevrolet and has a unique finish. The car has a killer stance on Budnik “Gasser-D” polished wheels that are 18” on the front and 20” on the rear. The wheels were wrapped with BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires that are 245-40-18 and 275-40-20.
    The interior of this car complements the exterior very nicely. The fully custom black leather interior was upholstered by Vanhouton Upholstery. The leather headliner matches the leather wrapped dash, full length center console, door panels with arm rests, seats and door sills. The upholstery has been dressed with silver accents. The dash was fabricated for a custom and smooth appearance that matches the exterior design. The dash was outfitted with new Speed Hut black gauges that include fuel, voltage, speedometer, tachometer, oil and temperature. It’s equipped with a black Ididit tilt steering column and Budnik “Knife” 15” steering wheel. The trunk compartment was boxed and upholstered with the same black leather as the interior. The custom black fuel cell, Optima Red Top battery and trunk latch assembly was also wrapped with leather. It’s also equipped with Eddie Motor Sport black trunk hinges, Holley fuel 340 pump, Holley flow fuel filter and plush carpeting.
    The engine compartment has been completely customized and is highly detailed throughout. The backside of the hood was re-finished in the Jet Black paint which looks amazing. The hood has been outfitted with a chrome top latch assembly and Ring Brothers black aluminum hinges. The heart of this beast is a new GM 6.2L Supercharged LT4 V8 that’s factory rated with 650HP and 650 lbs- ft. This amazing engine is recognized for high performance and great reliability. The engine details and specifications are included in the photo gallery. The engine breathes through new custom made Tri-Y headers and a new fully custom 3” exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers and Ace Race exhaust clamps. The engine is coupled to a new Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission.
    The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many upgraded parts. This undercarriage should be displayed with lights and mirrors at a car show. The bottom side of the body was re-finished in satin black that looks beautiful. The body sits on an Art Morrison chassis that was re-finished in black. Pictures of the rolling chassis are included in the photo gallery. It’s equipped with a C5 Corvette power rack and pinion steering system with a Billet Specialties black power steering reservoir. The front suspension system consists of custom upper control arms, lower control arms and Strange coilovers. The rear suspension system consists of triangulated 4-link setup with Strange adjustable coilovers. The Wilwood braking system consists of a master cylinder, 13” disc brakes with 6-piston black calipers and 2-piece drilled/slotted rotors on the front and 12”disc brakes with 4-piston black calipers and drilled/slotted rotors on the rear. It’s equipped with an E-Stop electric E-brake system.

    What's making a great car is building it yourself and doesn't matter how much money you have or have what matters is pouring your hard work and more importantly your soul because it's all about representing yourself to your best abilities and heart and soul.

    It’s a beautiful car and no doubt a lot of work has been done to it but as for me, and it may never happen, but I’d prefer to have one that is original completely. That’s just me, don’t get me wrong, your car is super nice but as I said… I prefer original.

    Should’ve shown more of the car and way less of you in the driver seat. Great detail on the build but I feel I wasted my time watchin/fast forwarding to see the vehicle

    Why would someone go to that much trouble and then sell it?

    • @MSClassicCars
      @MSClassicCars  Před rokem +2

      We purchased it from the gentleman who built and enjoyed it for years. Eventually everything has to go. Or at least some stuff. We purchased it and did the LT4 swap and some of the other items mentioned, and since we are a dealership we are now listing it for sale.

    Too bad you don't sell outright without dumb auctions.

      @MSClassicCars  Před rokem +1

      Actually we do. We sell 50% privately, and 50% at online auctions.

    People truly want to see what's being sold. To talk three four minutes about the work only to flash the end result in milli-seconds before flashing back to the narrator's headshot has got to be the worst ever video production. One shouldn't have to still shot/ pause video in order to see the car. Please change your format! I support your channel and the quality of car that comes out of your shop but these videos really do suck in terms of putting the product before the consumer.
