As a woman, I love baking and cooking dates but I don’t feel comfortable doing that until earliest the 3rd date. However, I cannot blame the guy for suggesting it as they had just talked about it. If I were her, I’d have replied with something firm yet polite and playful like “Tbh I don’t really feel comfortable coming to your place just yet for cooking or baking so how about we go to a restaurant and have someone else do the cooking for us first? 😉”. You can tell this guy would have been totally cool and respectful about it.
Perfect example of a light hearted and flirty way to redirect that conversation! If he’s pushy and insists on that apartment date: quick block.

@@elambedoExactly. No decent and respectful guy would be mad if the girl diverted the date to a public place as a first date just to be safe. Its all about having understanding. I wouldnt think of it as THAT inappropriate if we are talking about it. But sure as hell wouldnt be mad if she rejected it and wanted a date in public. Thats 100% understandable.
Yeah some guys get really pushy about this kind of thing. My friend was recently in the online dating scene and she told me about this time she set up a coffee date with a guy, and then he tried to redirect her to his house because quote, "his new puppy had separation anxiety, so he can't leave." And when she suggested they go to a park with the puppy instead, he made up some weird reasoning why his dog couldn't leave his house. So she just called the whole thing off and moved on. But this obviously wasn't what OP was doing.
Exactly. And cooking together is very intimate as well so it's kinda nice to make sure you vibe with someone first. I get him trying, once again seeing that they talked about it. This lady crazy for handling it like that though lol
It feels like this girl was on Tinder for the sole purpose of finding and criticizing guys that were using it for sex, but ended up finding a genuinely nice guy, and she didn’t know how to react, so she found any reason she could to accuse him of being a creep

But, to be fair to her, I kinda understand the reaction. I don't condone it, but i get it. If these are younger individuals, say 25 ish, the girl was probably told for her entire life that men only want her for sex. She probably experienced it too, and how many bad experiences can you have before you consider it the status quo? It was prolly engrained into her head that "if a guy asks you to come over, it will only ever be for sex," Again, that's no excuse for that kinda reaction given the context, but she was prolly thinking that it was better to be safe than sorry.

I don't disagree but at the same time, what she actually said to him going "when can we do this" as "idk you haven't asked me on a proper date yet" I would view a cooking date as a proper date. My first 'proper' date with one of my now exes was cooking at her house. Her language is pretty vague and could easily be read as "I don't know when we are doing this because you haven't suggested a time and place". I think he read it that way. And yeah, he may have also thought, "If she comes round, I might get laid" but even that isn't uncommon. This whole series is just making me feel better and better about my decision to never use dating apps
theyre mad, you just have sex with random people until you get a girlfriend. its probably bad for women in retrospect. especially the girl that's my girlfriend now.
Easier to talk to girls in person but meeting toxic people is a part of dating.
As a woman, I also never do apartment first dates, but suggesting an alternative is a great way to see if the guy is worth your time. If he’s down: green light. If he’s pushy and insists on that apartment date: quick block.
Exactly...guy didnt seem pushy at all and seemed decent...she either could have left it at the first rejection message if she was that paranoid. Or did what you just wrote.
If i was in his place the sudden insults would have me gobsmacked. Uncalled for.
@@elambedoExactly. No decent and respectful guy would be mad if the girl diverted the date to a public place as a first date just to be safe. Its all about having understanding.
I mean i would probably suggest to have a cooking date as a first date within the same context of talking about cooking together.

I don't disagree but at the same time, what she actually said to him going "when can we do this" as "idk you haven't asked me on a proper date yet"
I would view a cooking date as a proper date.

“I hope you find peace and love” bro has no enemies
WHERE DO YOU WANT HIM TO COOK!? THE STREETS!?
Well. She belongs to the street so ig...
This guy is so wholesome and kind, I really hope he meets someone that'll cook with him. He was way nicer than I would've been in that situation, I don't have the patience to be berated without firing back. As for her, she seems like the type of person who's been on Tinder for a decade, and never fails to drive off every decent match that comes her way.
He literally admits later in the conversation that all he wanted was sex. "we met on tinder, remember?”.
@@jamieabernathy5686Not a lot of thoughts bouncing around in your skull, eh? Let me break that one down for you: the mere IDEA of meeting someone on Tinder and NOT fucking is illogical. She walked into a whore house and was surprised that the product was sex.
Doesn’t mean it was his intentions. He’s just pointing out the stupidity. You meet people on Tinder for sex first and foremost. To bitch at someone for wanting sex out of a Tinder date, whether they actually wanted to or not, is beyond hopeless.
@@jamieabernathy5686 Well that's not necessarily an admition, but more so a reminder of where she is I reckon. I understand the thought though. Seems kinda weird to cook somewhere that isn't ones own home one way or another. I kinda wish to know what she had in mind for a cooking/baking date location.
@@jamieabernathy5686 Idk about "all" he wanted. Sex was surely a part of what he wanted, why else would he be on tinder otherwise. Nobody swipes because they think "This guy seems like he'll be a supportive friend", the dialogue afterwards may lead to friendships, but it is safe to assume people are looking for a sexual encounter, one way or another. There is a reason even being active on tinder would be similar to cheating for many, many monogamous couples. The app has a fairly straight forward purpose on that regard.
Whether this guy wanted a one night stand, action on his first date or was okay with investing in a long term relationship, we simply won't ever know.
@@jamieabernathy5686 that's what tinder is for my guy. The dude on tinder is interested in sex? Color me surprised

She was definitely expecting more push back from him after she said no and since he responded in a friendly way she got angry. She even used emojis and said ‘best of luck to you’ to make it out like she was being the nice/innocent one
i feel like this is THE most unhinged part of it all. she was expecting misogynistic incel trying to coerce her for sex but when she didnt get that she actually got pissed😭😭. some ppl genuinely desire to be victimized so that they can have a sob story and can fish for attention.

@@laer.393she honestly may have wanted him to like profusely apologize and beg to go on a date, to where she’d eventually go "ok fine I’m sorry I’ll give you another chance." I don’t think she had the right U-turn like that when they both knew they’d be going to one or the others place. It’s emotionally wracking and just shows how incapable she is of socialising without explaining the reason for it and making him feel awful by being “disappointed”. I don’t think she’ll ever know happiness in that state tbh, he’s won the long game.
For those that do not know: major cities have social media pages called, “are we dating the same guy”. And women post about the men they’re seeing/planning to meet and other women chime in if they’re dating him, have bad bad experiences with him, etc. I assume that’s what she’s referring to with the 30k thing
He dodged a bullet on that one. There are cautious women, and then there are narcissists that think every man wants to immediately sleep with them. Her response so far out of left field you can tell she is just the type to want to be a victim. Especially since she kept messaging him after he just said "ok I understand" and further escalating it.
💯

As a person from Czech, eating my food while watching Charlie´s video on another baffling conversation two people had with eachother, the last thing I expected was a random czech sentence in the middle of all the english. Nearly made me choke on my food.
So true LMAO i had to stop the video and go back a couple of times to listen how the hell did Charlie even pronounce it 😭
As a person from "Czech"? See, if you had said "The Czech Republic", "Czechoslovakia", or "Bohemia", we all would have understood what you meant. There is no country called "Czech".
