Where is that o-line? It's a patchwork quilt that lost multiple starters, and the starters coming back are injured not healthy. OTAs showed what should be 3rd stringers playing key positions.

@@jamess2664 To be great, one can't rely on anything other than one's self. If Geno plays with confidence his highly skilled offensive line will protect him. If he plays with sporadic focus as he has, no line will ever be good enough.

This Season will be special in Seattle it will feel like there are 14 or 15 guys out there on defense. One thing you will see for sure is an aggressive and very deceptive defense for the Seahawks. Opposing QB's will find out how difficult it is to move the ball against a Mike McDonald defense. Get ready.

Geno knows what he is doing and I am not worried about any of it people that hate just are delusional man Geno is mentoring my man sam howell we got a bright future.
We won the lottery with these guys. Two great qb's that folks gave up on too early. Sam will learn the off-field nuisances of the position, and the day will come when everything clicks on and off the field for Sam. It may be mid-season this year. It may be three years from now. The bottom line is everyone, including Geno, will know the kid has become that dude. Geno will then move to backup before he joins a coaching staff, hopefully ours.

Geno needs to trust the options in the play that is called. All the audibles just led to procedure penalties...1st and 15 is not going to cut it.
Offense is about to GRUBB on NFC WEAT rivals this year. SEAHAWKS LETS FLY
Geno was fine last year. Everyone seems to magically forget that he played injured and when he came back did not look 100%. Howell was acquired because while Seattle liked him, he 1) is young, 2) COULD maybe be the future, but MAINLY 3) he's got 2 years left and is CHEAP. Signing Drew Lock (who is not the answer - we've seen that on 2 teams already) to $5M+ per was simply not an option as we just didn't have the cap room.
My Dad (who gets all his football knowledge from me lol) kept saying, "GET LOCK IN THERE!" And I was like, "WTF is Lock going to do?" He had one big play thanks to Fant and the Eagles were trash last year flying all the way over to play us at home... that was hardly an impressive win. Seattle can thank Love for balling out that game and Walker/Charbs having a pretty good run game.
Very excited this year. Mostly about the defense. Last year I was like, "So Reed at NT... and Jones... and then who?" This year: "So we got Murphy/Williams/Reed/Hankins/Jones..." Now that's a very satisfying feeling. Hopefully our OL can stay healthy for once. Haynes was a steal in the 3rd round. It's like everyone forgot about him.. best pure guard in the draft. I didn't want Fautanu - he's never played guard. Enough of these tweener picks that Pete always loved. Take guys that have played the position before.... enough 'experiments'.
Wish Geno the best - he's a better player and leader than most think. BUT There are going to be great things coming..... in a couple of years maybe. The FAs are almost all 1-year rentals.... rivals had better drafts.... as he says "it's all new... everyone is learning a new system.. we may not understand the coaches" = more communications issues and hiccups in games this season. That's life folks! When you change horses in the middle of a race - or in this case change coach staffs in the middle of a rebuild - then the rebuild completely resets. We honestly have no idea what this team will look like yet, and neither do the coaches.
They need to make the throwback uniforms their default.
He says what we want to here. but,, Slow on reads and hesitates to scramble. after 12 yrs. ? having a better line will help. Would love to see him succeed, his time is running out.
BTW, our o-line sucks.... Lost starters, replaced with old guys and rookies. Starters that remain are injured. Good luck with that.
