That was smart of Grubb to decide that he ultimately didn't want to follow or have any part at Bama after Saban. Deboer's seat will get very hot after not getting to 10 wins in any season.
He needs to get 2 high quality guards, and then Geno will start to look great again.

I’d like to know if Ryan Grubb has looked at drafting a wide receiver like Xavier Legette from Carolina it would be like having two DK’s on the field would that interest him or no?
Legette better be real fast because he's not DK's size
Love his mindset, just hope he actually delivers on finding good Offensive Lineman which was the real problem. Plus he should trade Lockett to allow DK, Bobo, & JSN become real game winning stars and add something else.
All I want to know about Ryan Grubb is this? How good are you at making in game adjustments offsetting what the defense is throwing at you? You lucky dawg, you now have two great QB's with Geno and Sam Howell! POMO ( east coast fan)
You obviously never watched a husky game, Grubbs adjustments at halftime won a lot of game's, the guy was a genius at OC in college and I think it's going to carry over just fine.
Hearing his philosophy compared to Shane Waldron is so different. I think he is going to translate well in to the NFL.

This guy started of bad talking bout we got 3 good wide receivers when we Actually got 4 how tf he just gon forget Jake BOBO
Lockett's proven, Bobo's more of the rising star/lots of potential type. Decent rookie season as a solid #4 in the scheme, but 19 grabs for fewer than 200 yards is not better than the 3 guys he mentioned. JSN had 63 catches, Lockett 79. Coach didn't tf forget anything.
Trade Smith for Justin Fields.
Sam Howell is better than both. In fact, there were 7 first rounders traded around in the off-season. That said, Sam Howell is better than all of them.
