  • You really don’t need a lot of expensive gear to start and enjoy Landscape Photography. Often less is more, and when you have less you need to be more creative and force yourself to try different things.
Which is exactly what I did in this video. This is the Backpack - amzn.to/3PYvXGD, my Camera - amzn.to/2xNGBuQ, my 20mm lens - amzn.to/2rMIJPG, my 50mm lens - amzn.to/3mMRR1O, the Filter - amzn.to/3zTQXsx, the Tripod - amzn.to/3zVNtpK and the Ballhead - amzn.to/3PVz7eh that I used in this Landscape Photography session.

All to often, as landscape photographers, we focus on the dramatic, the big panos, sweeping vistas. While right under our feet is beautiful details. The image of the branch illuminated by the sun was just gorgeous.

Sorry for the filter Attilio, it happened to me multiple times so I know how it feels. You’re very resourceful, btw it’s good to experiment with different angles and depth of field and the leaves shot is beautiful. I adore the horizontal panning. Stay safe and thanks for these wonderfully motivational videos.

Sorry to hear about the filter. I remember when my D810 fell. Fortunately I had an L bracket on it and that protected it. The lens hood helped protect the lens. It was scary for sure since I was attending a night time photography workshop. So, I was still able to use my camera but didn't know the extent of anything until I got home and looked it over carefully. I now make sure I keep an L bracket on my camera. Thanks for another video. Your images are beautiful. I learned some things too. Thank you!
