There is alot of reasons why I love watching you guys at Fallow, but the most important one, that separates you from the others is: You keep up with the trends and Listen to the public. I have followed you guys for a while now and I hope you keep going at this tempo, with the same inspirational videos! :) Keep it up!
It's a social media brand with a restaurant on the side.

No just people laughing at how normal this is 👍
Watching 3 videos of Gordon Ramsay on youtube having a cookoff with Ed Sheeran > 3 michelin stars
That's a crepe, not an omelette
@@ronnysharma6767moron
Greasiest omelette ever created 😂
Like how you were explaining things you were doing that you knew people were going to comment about and addressing them ahead of time. You really know your stuff.
That's a very nice omelette sir, and the process is very well explained. Congrats !
New subscriber, Been watching your videos during my midlife crisis of trying to make my passion for cooking into a living, 30 years working in the construction industry(joiner), I decided during lockdown to teach myself as much as possible. Your videos are a great help, keep it up lads
hope you succeed :)
@@thatsagoodquestion5889 Thankyou !
Exactly! I do like a solid omelette, I usually finely grate in Gruyere cheese into the raw eggs with a good dash of black truffle oil, then season with salt and pepper and cook. I find mixing the Gruyere cheese in with the truffle oil before cooking the omelette stops the cheese from sticking to my uncoated/seasoned stainless steel pan.
Love the vids helping me be a better cook.
You don't know how to cook with stainless
@@pilgrim5355exactly 😂😂😂
I guess I don't know how to cook something like this in stainless either!
This topic would be another great video.
Let's all learn together. Be kind and caring toward one another and continue to learn from the Masters.

same with me when i make scambled eggg i don't mix the white and the yoke too much makes each bite have a different flavour and texture its great
I love these videos when it’s something that everyone will eat with simple ingredients! Fantastic video and has to be one of my favourite channels I’ve stumbled upon, keep up the good work chaps!
😮
I don't know how I've gone 21 years without ever trying an omelette. Tonight is the night!! Thank you for the video, very clear and simple.
Nice classic french omelet! At the hotel restaurant where i work i add all the toppings in the pan, then the egg. Fold it in a half moon shape and add cheese if you like.
Always a great test…organization, cleanliness, attention to detail
Fabulous. Not preaching - teaching. I particularly like the commentary about what others like and that this is the way the chef likes HIS omelette. I'm subscribed but as I searched for a video on this, yours stood out because you spelled omelette correctly!
Thank you, very helpful. 😊
"Add a tiny, tiny bit more butter..."
Proceeds to dollop in another tablespoon of butter... 😏
See my comment, lightly whisk...
Looks so good and delicious.
woah ! good and delicious ? those are quite high marks, tabitha!
I found Fallow from a mcdonalds pov video and thank god i did because this has supplied me with entertainment and knowledge for a good few weeks.
Thank you for sharing a great egg meal!!! I continue to try to make a good good omelet for me!! I love learning from chefs!!! Thank you again!!!😊😊😊
What recipe do you want to see next?
Pad Thai
fried rice then uncle rodger can judge it :D
The cabbgae recipe mate pls very interesting
Steak rossini please, can't find a decent one anywhere catered for the home cook 😢
A fry up!
Looks beautiful, when is the hour long dish pit POV coming?
Have watched quite a number of omelette videos. For me, this is the best one and it worked well.
Way too much butter for me I don’t want to gain 40lbs when eating eggs personally.
It's all about the taste & texture at the end of the day. @@AtortAerials
Excellent. Your channel is helping me get through my first fine dining gig. We make omelletes just like this. In America we have Omelet too which is way different, so I never made it this way.
More meat in my omelet please.
I haven't seen many people, move the egg the way you do, while it's cooking. Well done on the video, and then, talking us through how to cook the eggs.
Thanks to you, I've finally made a perfect omlette instead of fancy scrambled eggs. Thank you!
I need a video for that beef stock.
Wow completely forgot about the Saturday kitchen live omelette challenge! Loved that show!
Don’t think there’s a better restaurant CZcams channel atm 👌
Great video. I love learning from a professional chef.
Wow! This gave me an altogether new take on omelettes! Thank you.
I was always looking for a way to make a tasty eggs. Thanks gonna try.
Jaques Pepin's omlette video still yet to be surpassed after all these years, but this way is something anyone can do first try which is nice.
David kinch’s omelette and kichi kichi omelette for omurice are also excellent
Jaques is the OG, two omelettes one video
I find this method the most useful for french omlettes, but Jaques Pepin's method the best for country style ones.
as far as classically trained chefs go, kichi kichi puts everyone to shame
My Asian cooking goddess roles here omelette mixed with garlic, the dogs knackers👍
Would you like some omelet with your butter?
Dude, this first initial “scrambling” of the eggs completely changed my omelette game! From me and all potential eaters: thank you.
Everyone knows how to do that lol😂

I love this video, it definitely helps ❤
not here for the Omelette but that beautiful stock reducing, i just want to skim it a little!
What are your opinions on adding milk or sour cream or both before cooking the eggs ?
Yes, definitely
Thanks for method chef
Yes chef
You make the fold look easy
it looks really cool and delicious
finally an omelette without brown!
I love how all of your “slightly controversial” techniques are all things ive also given the culinary finger too!
Very nice viedo, that is great way to make them. Will try soon....from California senior🤗
Butter with eggs 😉
I usually add a 1/4 cup of half and half or third of a cup of coffeemate original creamer right in the mixing. As its cooking on low I go around and push the cooked in and let the softer drift to the edges. Once it's flipped and smooth, I add the cheese and sausage depending on what the diner wants. Flip it, season it and serve it. Works nice. Some restaurants let it go too long and it becomes browner and harder.
Can we get some more POV of a bartender? Those coctails are cool as fuck when they make them. Thanks.
I like my omelette like this not runny cooked properly yet not overdone perfect
French got this hands down .
In regards to salt and eggs look into kenji alt lopez’s work on it with serious eats, was pretty conclusive I think
I’m scared of having a heart attack just watching this. Holy butter Batman
When you know, you know. Well done chef! Maui HI, USA #Lahainastrong
Ok he's making me hungry 😂. He's making it look like so very easy.😅
Well it’s time I’m 21 and about to go on this journey of making my 1st omelette when I awake in the morning wish me luck
good luck i'm 25 have been cooking for years, can bake bread from scratch, and still haven't made an omelette that didn't turn into scrambled eggs
I’ve been following your channel for a long time and love your content. I used many of your recipes and help for Xmas dinner this year and everyone loved it. Thank you guys and keep going ❤
bro thats such an extra omelette
I love to roll mine the japanese way from one side all the way to the other
People in the comments really like dry ass eggs and omelettes. 🤢 Give me all that buttery wetness. This looks amazing Fallow.
Thank you!
Beautiful chef
What a lot of work. Kudos on the high heat spatula.
Puts in 2 spoons of butter. Tiny touch of butter he says
Fr a lot of butter. Ruins the health benefits
HAHA, I was just thinking the same thing. While I am sure it tastes great (it better with that much butter), that is DEFINITLEY not something you want to eat more than once a while if you value healthy eating.
It was Raymond with the truffle in his pocket on Sturday Kitchen
Great video as always. I have few questions: why you didn't add black pepper with the salt? what is the reason to add it at the last? Second question: what is the size of your frying pan? I will make it at home soon but I don't have the right pan. Thank you
He did add black pepper after the salt
3:35 agreed chef. I was quizzed this way on my eggs.
Yes chef
@fallowlondon can’t beat a nice quick tasty omelette, I love to add some gently fried mushrooms spring onion or chives with thyme and oregano, (and a generous savoury sprinkling of flavoursome med/strong grated cheddar or your favourite cheese) into the middle before folding the omelette over to melt the cheese into a gooey mess prior to serving, absolutely divine and very simple comfort food, served with some lovely soft fresh buttered bread to mop up the delicious savoury decadent juices, topped off with a drizzle of creamy fresh mayo and cracked black pepper to complete the flavour combination and dressing of the dish 😉😋 nom nom, there’s something really magical about the mushroom and oregano especially that works with the egg 😎
And just finish with a little...........creme fraiche 😂
great comments and ideas and sharing your experience!
101% Perfect :)
I have never been happy w/my scrambled eggs much less any attempt I made at omelettes, but I see from watching this video that I’ve been rushing the cooking & need to slow down some. I don’t like any moistness in my eggs so I’ve been trying to flip them before they’re done so they can cook on both side & then fold them. I’ll just take my time & see if they’ll cook all the way thru from one side. Thanks!
Watching you make a great to do about making a simple omelette....please come to our house....two perpetually hungry starving kids literally will snatch the omelette from your pan and scoot... So much for your French omelettes.
Oh wow !!!!!!!!!!! Wow
Great video. Thank you. I keep burning my omelettes... I guess I need to turn heat right down as per your advice. I remember the Saturday kitchen challenge! Fun to watch but so counter-intuitive! Why butter and not oil, or it it a matter of taste?
Lately I have started making eggs for my partner, as I don't eat them. Once the omelette has formed and off the heat, would grated parmigiano reggiano instead of salt be a good choice?
Also subbed, I need more
Great idea!
I gave it a try with parmigiano reggiano and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend!
This guy is not a chef... he's a mu-fuggin' gangsta
Why is nobody commenting on the absurdly huge amount of butter used? Might also call it "fried butter with eggs"
Standard restaurant food. 90% butter 😄
While i do love and respect this type of omelette....a fast and hot omelette on a flat top still is delicious.
Thanks!
I was supposed to have pork chops tonight but after seeing this I *_had_* to change it to 2 three-egg omelets with cheese!
You, I made an omelet this morning (no garnish nor cheese filling). I added some milk to the egg mixture and only pepper and turned it to a style that combines both the french omelet and country omelet.
Nothing like a well seasoned or non stick pan
excellent...I want an omelette now! Need a bit of toast though 😂
Actually this was butter with a side of eggs 😅
Perfect!
Chef
Since you have seen the Bear , could you elaborate more on the 2nd episode's scene , in the 1st season ?
Trying to be viral and advertising yourself through media is applauded , you do it with class and uniqueness .
The darker schemes of the industry have to be brought to the fore though , not just a french omelette .
Yes chef
Heart stopper special
Before I hire a chief, I'll have them make me an over- medium egg.
Watching Fallow video is like witnessing Alfredo making his Fettucine Alfredo
I just started watching the bear today, an amazing show!
What a banger 👍🏻
1 omelette over 6 minutes 😂😂 Congratulations Chef! 😉😉
Who makes your steel bowls?
So much butter but I can appreciate that it’s not burnt or overcooked :) I hate an overcooked/burn egg lol
massive heart attack omelette
I prefer the 15 minute ultra low heat French omelet that with constant stirring once the eggs begin to form, turns into a great custard. Need 4 eggs because most of the water will evaporate and the eggs shrink to a few tablespoons. Utter delight
Awesome 🥚🍳
Whisking in either fresh pressed garlic or garlic powder into the eggs is good
I want to skim that sauce on the back so badly
Thanks
Tons of butter.. :D
Omg thank you for seasoning your eggs and not browning them. My kind of eggs. My first attempt not great i had the burner on way too low, and didn't use enough butter, but still better than any other omelet ive ever made
I am by no means a cook of any sort. I have recently begun to cook more often out of necessity alone. I've learned that many foods are best cooked slowly. I used to cook eggs like I was racing the clock. But now, i get that 5 or 5 1/2 minute target on just between medium and medium high in a oneida thick bottomed small pan. i use about the same amount of butter, and i flip my omelette. i will try cooking it longer on the first side and not flipping it to see what happens, but i was surprised that my general method here was so similar to yours!
