- Sara the cockatoo is finally getting all the love and attention she deserves. She was rescued by her previous owner who found her completely neglected, and then found her a new home with Jessica who already had two other cockatoos. It took some time and patience but Sara has adjusted wonderfully, loves to play with her brothers and loves to cuddle

Cuddle Buddies is a channel for people who talk to their little friends and listen to what they have to say. Because every animal can teach us something. They can be goofy and deep, we just let the animals speak.

Thanks so much for rescuing her. Cockatoos are very intelligent and they need a lot of attention and interaction.
"Cockatoo was left alone now wants cuddles all the time", relatable
Animals that were stressed come out of their shells so much faster and bloom so much more when they get a chance to recover with their own kind.
So true, my last bunny was so afraid when I got her and through seeing how her partner behaved with me and their surroundings, she gradually learned to trust. Shortly before her death she even learned that it was okay to take her food from my hand. It's incredible how trusting she got in the end.
What an amazing couple!! Sara and her feathered siblings are pretty lucky to live in a loving home!
And under ideal conditions, they can live a long, long time. It's a life commitment, like infants.
Nothing more heartbreaking than seeing fear in an animal when you know they deserved to be loved and taken care of but weren't.
Be kind to yourself, your pets and each other.â€
Umbrella Cockatoos are the most rehomed, or in sanctuary. It's so sad and it's even more upsetting that people are still breeding them. So glad you were able to make room for Sarah, she needs love and a stable home, and you are giving her exactly that.
Thank you!â€ïžđ
Note: maybe check out Marlene McCohen here in CZcams, she rescued an umbrella named Jersey, she makes these adorable outfits from socks that keep her baby nice and warm, and of course a fashionista, lol.
That sweet girl has been through a lot and that's of course everybody knows why she has no feathers in the front stress plucking. So glad you have her so she can get the attention she needs and can feel safe
đ€§ aww she's super gorgeous, bless you for saving her and giving her a terrific forever home. Cracking good video thanks for sharing đ€đđ
Much love to all who rescue our furry friends đ
Thank you for giving Sara love and a home where she has a wonderful, loving life! Y'all are the best. â€
My heart melted....Sarah is so adorableâ€â€â€â€
Just so sweet! I love how she hugs you! What a good mom đâ€ïž
Isn't it so sad that these beautiful birds display the same ptsd trauma we do by pulling their feathers. It fills me with despair that we inflict this upon them for our own vanity - rather like designer dogs who can't breathe.
These stories always make me đą with how genuine & heartfelt they are ⥠l would not be surprised to see Sara in full plumage now (love is a great healer) Thanks for sharing this amazing bird tale đ
The previous caretaker did a good deed to get Sara out of a bad situation immediately. Even more, though, was that he recognized the limits of his care when she was not making progress...and he looked for better options than he could provide.
That takes maturity and the ability to truly want what's best for another being. Kudos to him for that, too.â€
And now Saea is home with a family who could "reach" her and where she has blossomed. Love this!! â€ïž
Sara must be so happy to have a flock again. I used the same logic on my one feral brother cat. Now he competes for my attention with everyone else.
Thank you so much for featuring us and creating this wonderful heartwarming video! Sara just ate kale for the first time yesterday (after offering it to her at least 8 times). It's a process to get her to trust us, but she definitely watches Misha and Boo and copies what they do. Last July, I was not wanting another cockatoo, but I am so glad that things happened the way they did (I gave my fish tank to a disabled veteran friend). đ
Thank you so much for giving her the love she so deserves â€â€â€
Thank you for taking her and giving her a good life that she deserves †!
Cockatoos are naughty and best kept in the wild. Thanks for rescuing her!
...yes, unless they have been bred. You can be sure that these birds were not captured from the wild.
@@misottovoce, theyâre up there with monkeys in way of naughtiness!

thank you for being compassionate human paronts; these birds really need help and enormous amounts of attention, time and care over many many decades most people dont research what they may be getting into.

See! SEE!!!
There are still some good people on the planet!
đđđ
đŽ there are so many great birds that need a really good and forever home , I just rehomed a 40 yr old African grey from a lady with health issues, the bird has a vocabulary of over 50 words , plus whistles, she knows the Andy of Mayberry Theme , ( but messâs it up đ) and is sooo intelligent , when I walk in she says hello and when I leave she says bye bye , people really under estimate their intelligence and compassion, itâs a shame Sarahâs feathers wonât come back she a beautiful bird .
I enjoy this video very much then and may God bless this channel to then.
Wonderful.
What a sweet brave bird! Thank you for saving her. She looks like maybe a Daddy's Girl! đ€â€ïž
Bless you.â€

Hope you enjoy looking after our native Australian birds đŠ
I think the Umbrella Cockatoo is native to Indonesia. Straya lays claim to the most species of the little terrors!

!!
What's with people now saying 'whenever' when they mean 'when'?
I hate seeing birds that plucked their feathers. I automatically know they have either been stressed or abused!!
Wild birds go crazy being locked up all the time.born in captivity or not..
Do your research. Many unhealth things can be seen in this ladys parrot videos. She gets bit all the time. đą
All cockatoos bite. They don't know skin isn't the same as feathers. They bite each other and it's not traumatic because feathers slide out of beaks whereas skin doesn't.
One of my good friends got an African grey parrot and for some reason that bird goes nuts when I walk in the door. He will sit on my shoulder the whole time I am there. I have never been a bird person but I have developed a very strong bond with this bird.
