    THANK YOU!!
Without incriminating anyone, several court admin employees said there was no evidence to link LM to the crime. This case was an example of police not knowng how to carry out a murder investigation and the courts overall lack of justice. What sickens me about this case is the "achievement for solving the case" lead to certain folk progressing their careers with undeserving promotions. The justice system in Scotland is designed to fail so these free mason curupt individuals can remain in power and prosper.

You have put your credibility on the line by being brave enough to highlight that this trial was flawed from the start. Luke Mitchell---A misscarriage of justice?
Posted on 7 September 2022 Premiers at 4.15pm Wednesday.
Read Scott Forbes book A Long Walk to Justice. It is an account of the circumstances, arrest and conviction of Luke Mitchell for the murder of his girlfriend Jodie Jones. Both Luke and Jodie were 14 years old at the time of her brutal homicide in June 2003.
Scott Forbes has been Luke’s lawyer since 2010. He has though been close to the case since 2003. In his book Scott highlights many aspects of the case that cast doubt on the veracity of Luke’s conviction. Indeed, some of the glaring mistakes by Lothian and Border Police make one wonder why Luke was even a suspect in the first place.
The circumstances surrounding Jodie’s brutal murder are so bizarre I doubt even a crime writing novelist would attempt to push such things to their readers. The catalogue of errors, missteps, omissions, assumptions by the police are really quite unbelievable.
The most important aspect to any murder scene is to secure the crime scene. One of the most important aspects of securing the crime scene is to preserve the scene with minimal contamination and disturbance of physical evidence. First Responders to an incident should document the placement and/or movement of items at the scene. None of this basic stuff was done properly by the police on the scene that night. The body was dragged along the ground. Branches from trees were cut away to allow the police photographer better views for his pictures! These are only two of the many mistakes made at the scene.
This was at the outset of the investigation and sadly, from there it went downhill. Witnesses that should have been questioned were not. People who had been at the scene were allowed to go home in the clothes they were wearing with no forensics taken from them. Subsequently and in some cases rapidly these garments were washed thereby destroying valuable forensic evidence.
Several individuals that had been spotted in and around the crime scene were not question at the time. Indeed, some were not even questioned till years after Luke Mitchell had been convicted and sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.
Alibis were created, statements were altered, crucial evidence discounted. The list of fatal mistakes and pure incompetence are too many to list. Information was leaked to the press, and they did a job on a 14-year-old boy and his family. Lies and false information were fed to the public via the Scottish gutter press. We all know how our media love to dig and dish the dirt.
This is a taste of the kind of headlines the Daily Record had been producing from the day of crime. It transpired the Record hack was a close friend of the leading investigator, DI Dobbie and we can only assume the source of her information.
Despite numerous other possible suspects the police determined from the night Jodie’s body was discovered that Luke was ‘their man.’ Indeed, DS Dobbie in charge of the investigation told his underlings to take Luke in and give him the ‘ full treatment.’ A 14-year-old child that had never been in trouble with the police in his life. He was exposed to this ‘full treatment’ by the police without a responsible adult beside him every step of the way. Luke was a Goth and the police thought he looked weird. That it seems was enough for the investigators to ignore any other suspects.
One crucial thing to note, not a shred of DNA or any other forensic evidence was found on Luke, his clothes or on Jodie! He was convicted on circumstantial evidence, police testimony and Daily Record bile!
Scott writes in far greater detail the circumstances around poor Jodie’s discovery, Luke’s arrest and subsequent conviction. I would advise you all to get a copy of his book and make up your own mind. This could just be the biggest ever miscarriage of justice in Scottish legal history.
I was able to speak with Scott this week and below is that interview. I would appreciate if you would listen to what Scott has to say. Then you will be free to make up your own mind.
Most importantly in all of this is Jodie Jones herself a 14-year-old child. Brutally murdered with over 300 wounds, her body mutilated in a most cruel manner and left dumped in a wood. Is another child capable of such a crime? Several criminologists, retired murder detectives and even the FBI don’t think so! Has justice served Jodie well or has justice only served its own needs, you decide?

@@My2Tube22 Daily Express, Sun, May, 2012:
But one of Mitchell's former girlfriends, who says he attacked her with a knife just weeks before Jodi's murder, yesterday dismissed his latest claims of innocence.
Kara Van Nuil is adamant that her ex-boyfriend did kill Jodi, and also revealed she is terrified that Mitchell will attempt to track her down on his release.
The 24-year-old, who believes that her decision to end the relationship probably saved her life, has now moved away from Midlothian in an attempt to avoid being found.
Ms Van Nuil, who was 16 when she dated Mitchell, maintains that he pressed a blade to her neck during an Army Cadet Force platoon meeting.
With the other cadets enjoying a snack break outside the hut, Mitchell is said to have grabbed Ms Van Nuil from behind, turned her round and forced a penknife to her throat.
"There's not one part of me that thinks he isn't guilty," she said. "Because of the way he was with me that day, I don't have a doubt in my mind at all. It definitely was him.
"He is so strong and he can easily hold someone down like me. I'm tiny and I'm sure Jodi was the same. I had no power to fight back.

Do you know Scotland in the UK has a case just as bad as the West Memphis 3? The What makes it worse is we do not have access to police interviews and other FOIA things like court transcripts etc.
I do have this interview with the Scottish criminologist and legal expert Dr Sandra Lean who has had access to everthing, she has been fighting for Luke Mitchell for 17 years for free. She lived in the area and was afraid that the real killer is free to kill more children as she had girls around the same age as the victim Jodi Jones.
Luke was 14 at the time that his 14-year-old girlfriend Jodi was found brutally murdered, Jodi was discovered during a search for her lead by her family and Luke they stumbled appon a truly horrified scene.
The media used the devil theory like the WM3 because Luke had a nirvana T-shirt and enjoyed metal music Satanic Panic in Scotland it was relentless, the press were allowed to use pictures of the 14 years old with salacious headlines.
Unfortunately, they failed to mention the fact when saying it was a brutal crime and Jodi fought back that Luke had no wounds whatsoever.
The pathologist said she bled to death and the killer would have been covered in blood. None of Jodi's blood was found on Luke or his home and none of Luke's DNA was found at the scene yet in 2003 at the time of the incident 5 other DNA profiles where found on and around Jodi.
After around a year and a half of the media saying he was guilty without any evidence every day in every news paper, he really had no hope of a fair trial he was already convicted by public opinion before the trial had even started. Unsurprisingly he was found guilty.
Just to let you understand Luke is in prison for the rest of his life unless he confesses which he has no intention of doing, he is stubborn and proud and completely Innocent even a polygraph said he was innocent. Would you confess to something you did not do?

They put his picture out to warn the public, especially the girls. Jodi did Not fight back & that is just another blatant lie put about by sandra Lean. He knocked her out First & then carried on with his premeditated Plan. The pathologist did Not Say the killer would have been covered in blood. And not to become a contributor to injustice and become part of the problem!

I am only 27:52 into this first episode after only hearing about this case today as part 4 came up as a suggestion, and already, this is screaming police incompetence. This is a small village/town with its first big-profile murder case, and the commanding officer closed the case in his/her mind from the very beginning. That kid was getting slammed with a murder charge whilst dick features were labelled a hero for solving this horrendous crime, and quickly and efficiently, which allowed the family to grieve. It's clear from hearing this much that they did nothing in the way of investigative work even whilst there was so much evidence staring at them in the face. So far, it seems that the poor girl's family are the "weird" lot. So sad, but I hope justice is served.

Add to that the fact that the police never wanted it to be anyone other than Luke then the truth is obvious to me. What I do not understand is he has nothing on him yet another kid who looks the same had scratches on his face and then if it is the same person he goes on to commit 2 more crimes involving threats and a knife/taser. Now he is deceased it is easy to keep on blaming Luke. Instead of police realising they messed up were out of touch with teens and jumped to conclusions. Nirvana quote about best day was when 2moro never came is about the pain of losing someone. You can tell they were a great couple of normal goths. Alot of us who were into goth lifestyles were not future killers but some of my friends did blood pacts with knives to say our commitment to each other and the knives would be engraved or written on. Obviously as you get older you realise how weird society sees that but as teens you think it is edgy and cool.

I’m sure it was adopted in the UK in 1992. This is a set of articles that keep children up to 18 years old protected, involved and provided for. One of the articles says the governments must protect children
from all other forms of exploitation. This leads me to question why the media were allowed to publish pictures of Luke.

Here is a summary of evidence against Mitchell
    1. Knife that he was known to own, went missing and no reason offered by mitchell.
2, Green Parker Jacket...yes you guessed it went missing too, again no explanation offered.
3.His brother admitted he had lied when he said Luke was at home at the time of the murder. His brother is absent from the campaign to free him.
    4. Independent Witness who gave description of 2 people resembling mitchell and his victim. at 4:50 in the area
    5. 2 More Independent Witnesses saw young man matching Mitchell's description around 5:50 at gate between his house and the path to the crime scene.
    6. Phone records show call made from his phone to the talking clock when according to his alibi he was at home.
    7. His description of the dead girl and her clothing to police mentioned items of clothing including a hair clasp and bobble only visible when her body was moved.
    8. The other suspects essay describing killing a young woman in the woods did not exist according to his lecturer.
You see I don't even need to mention his liking for Marylin Manson and Manson;s obsession with the Black Dahlia murder. Nor do I need to claim there were similarities to the nature of these crimes.

The other point I wanted to make (it may be raised in part 2, which I haven’t yet watched), is to look at cases where they have overturned their convictions & walked free bc they were innocent.

She Knows he did it & that Corrine tried hard to cover it up. What stands out so much is all that she & Corrine are hiding from the public about this case. If you have a look at her weekly update May 23rd, you will see what I got out of her there, the fact that she has always known, that Jodi was unconscious. He did that with a severe blow on her head using a blunt weapon. Just one fact that sandra has Never told, & she tries to 'thwart' this fact that another weapon was used, in her replies to me, telling more lies.
Thanks for your interest. Would you mind letting me know on here if you can't get on that update page as I am suspicious she has blocked people recently from getting on there.
I will give you an example of those 2 women, who 'slip-up' with their Stories about the jacket that disappeared.
Corrine is on one site from some years ago & said - Luke Never had a jacket before, Never wore jackets before, Hated jackets. She said - the police came to the house & took all his clothes away so she had to buy him new clothes. She went to a store & Luke chose - a jacket. Huh? She goes on - she was very happy because it was on sale, she gave the receipt to the liaison officer.
Sandra is on her site Innocents Betrayed. She tells a story about The jacket & said that Luke had The jacket on when taken to the police station the night he found her & the police took The jacket, so, it never disappeared at all, the police had it. Huh?
Hang on, ladies, Corrine said he never had one before, he hated them, never wore one before. Corrine, also on another site later & saying she bought a Replica Parker & bangs on same, but it was a Parker she bought later. The locals started talking, & then facts about the trial came out, & more now, so they have to keep changing what was before, about what is Known.
Fact - He was seen wearing The jacket in the months prior & on that afternoon & evening & then it disappeared. Many testified about that jacket. Even one of his school teachers. People think it was burnt because it was covered in blood but no, he was too cunning to let that happen, it was burnt because he was Seen in it that afternoon & evening. Of course, Corrine would have been worried that there may have been traces of blood or her hair or anything else from the scene on it. He was behind her when the deep cut happened & that is evidenced by the blood on the wall. A few cuts were before death but most were after. Mrs Bryson noticed that the jacket pocket a bulge when she saw them at the east end of the pathway. It must have been stuffed full, for her to notice that.
Corrine went out & bought him the Same jacket & was Caught-out doing that. She later bought him the Same knife & was Caught-out doing that as well. This was just one knife he had before that disappeared after the murder. It was a 4" skunting knife with a pouch & he carried it daily & he would cut his hash with that. The medical examiner describes the knife used as stout.
      His balaclava disappeared also

Jodies gran sister and sisters boyfriend all said the same for the first few months then decided to change their story saying they didn't know if he pulled the dog toward the wall or the dog made a be line for the wall making it obvious something was behind the wall. And as for the alibi being destroyed if they thought his mother was lying for him why did all the charges against his mother get dropped for giving him a false alibi. So where else is the evidence. Notice you don't mention the fact that there was 5 different dna profiles on or around Jodies body none of which were Lukes. Why did none of that dna get tested and those people looked into ?

That's down to Police negligence and human ignorance.
