This is clean. I'm working on building out something like this for my Rigid system since Rigid doesn't have anything like that on the horizon. But part of me also might just retire the Rigid, repurpose it for camping gear and go tough built.
I looked at them ,, too bulky for me to go in and out and up stairs of apartments. Also a smaller 2 drawers unit would be nice for weight and portability. I decided to keep the Rigid setup I have , unfortunately Rigid drawers have 3 drawers also and too bulky . 🙄. These companies all forget you have to take them apart to go up and down stairs. The other day, I had a job on a 3rd floor walk-up vintage building , no elevators...
Yeah if you can’t roll into your job location, none of these modular systems are very efficient. I keep the tote with shoulder strap on the van for those situations.
I shaved the top off the sides of the ammo can boxes. Look at my short videos for a more details. They’re no longer water proof, but i carry them in a van, so that doesn’t matter to me. And i have since switched over to the 1 drawer boxes for the tools that i was carrying in them. They’re just used for storage in the warehouse.
Any chance you can show us how you got the full size box stacked on the two half boxes? Thanks!

Probably the new version of 1/2 boxes if he was given these for free which he probably was as the cart not out yet that I know of.
