It’s funny how there’s “rubbish apple pie” on the menu
There is a story behind it because of masterchef
You must watch MASTERCHEF USA SEASON 3 to know about that..
Was the apple pie like not good? Not bothered to watch it.
@@albie9820 yup, the apple pie is so good...
Fuck you , i bet u have 2 eyes and can’t cook like an actual chef . U must be mad cause she won . She is blind u fuck tard . I bet u only kno how to eat and cool like shit fuck u and ur inner soul
I was homeless and living on the street or in my car. Being a Veteran of 2 wars it was just comforting to me. Then I met a Vietnamese woman that just accepted me. The dishes she cooks is amazing. I didn't realize food could have such flavor or comfort. I hope to one day eat in your restaurant. I am sorry about your friend Josh. I have lost many friends to suicide. It's never easy.
How old are you now?
I wish the best for you 🥰 thank you for your service
VETERAN!? AYO -
i'll legit throw myself to houston and try every single meal she has
same once this pandemic is over.
Same
Same
She keep walking past the sink and washes her hands in the toilet.
Not really!
oop sksks, you won't be disappointed. My brother lives near Houston TX and he's been to her restaurants a few times. He has said that the food is to die for because it's that good.
I thought The Blind Goat means The Blind Greatest of All Time 😂
Or it could mean goat too
Well she is one of the greatest chefs of all time!! So even that goat fits perfectly here!!
Her sense of humor is also close to her greatest title
Christopher Tjia, Christine Ha was born during the year of the goat and she's legally blind. Thus, The Blind Goat label for her first restaurant. She now owns two but with different names.
G.O.A.T = Greatest Of All Time.
Yes!
I’m Vietnamese.
I’m a big fan of you, Christine Ha.
I love you. You inspired me a lot. I’m really happy because you opened your own restaurant. If I have a chance to go to America, I really want go to your restaurant.
Christine is inspiration
"I think when you go through challenges in life it really does build up your character. It makes you into a stronger person and a better person, if you deal with it right. It's okay to show signs of your weakness and it's okay to ask for help."
-The Blind Chef
I loved how on master chef everyone was rushing around chopping super fast and there was Christine who was calm and collected, taking her time
The editing doesn't do a good service to portray her vision. It's way more darker and blurred. It almost looked like she could "just put some glasses" and see everything again.
@LoveSick my gf too. Her lenses are thick as sht
True it looked like how i feels when I take my glasses off but I think she would feel more darkness
Except her vision is really fuck and no glasses can help see better, only way for her to get a clearer view on objects is to get really close.
is really hard to become blind even wearing a glasses is not easy
She now has two successful restaurants in Houston. Incredibly amazing young woman.
She’s so amazing and such an inspiration
I'm Vietnamese, proud of her so far. I wish i can be there one time!
Same. I am Vietnamese and want to go to Texas to try out at her restaurant.
Yeah, I'm Vietnamese too. 1968.
So proud of you Christine! Watching you become successful day by day inspires me to be like you!!
I love to cook and I have a rare eye disease called keratoconus and had to have cornea transplant and I still can't see well. You are an inspiration.
Looks like most of us came here from the 'Christine's Apple Pie' video.
I remember when I was seeing Master Chef Season 3 back in 2012 IIRC, I was about 15 years old back then. It was my favorite competitor of that particular season and I was amazed at her dishes. Hearing she was the winner kinda changed my perspective in life a bit that day, and since then I've always wanted to go to her restaurant. I'm damn sure once this pandemic thingy ends I'll go for sure.
so proud of you Christine, i've watched every single episode of Master chef that you cooked. amazing
You go girl. I'm so happy for you. You made your dreams come true
Christine you are an inspiration to all, I hope you and Felix are still friends. I watched your friendship grow on season 3. You are incredible and should be so proud of yourself.
I'm so inspired by all these. From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🌸🌸🌸
So happy for her, she's so awesome.
i can’t wait to go here
Gordon Ramsay convinced her that she had more confidence within herself that she didn't realize. He changed her life forever. Her success today is because of him.
I think Gordon has a bigger heart than most people would expect. The way he used sounds to describe her pie and then told her to be more confident was really nice.
You rock!!! Thanks for being you!
Wish her all the success
you are awesome Christine , congratulations , hope you stay successful .
So inspiring ❤️
You are wonderful
What a fantastic role model for any chef or any person. Thank you Christine for being the fire that sparked the flame and the flame that started an inferno in the hearts of those who wants to succeed in life. There are absolutely no excuses for anyone.
Awesome story! Good on you!
Omg its Christiiiiiine from master chef😍 awesome
She is a woman of great respect
I wish Christine only the best of luck because opening a restaurant takes a lot of money and not to mention pacience because part of the expenses are the following:
1. Employee's weekly wages less any taxes being withheld.
2. Suppliers.
3. Advertising
(a) in yellow pages
(b) brochures that one can take
4. Accountant's fees.
Please give me thumbs up if you enjoyed watching that Christine has opened her restaurant. ©®

Awesome 👍👍👍
I've been to this restaurant. It's fucking good 👍
Still love watching her after all these years....still bummed about Josh though...
The guy went crazy & took his own life away. He only had himself to blame.
@@nipongvaj he had schizophrenia you ignorant, heartless POS
@@DemocratsareagentsofSATAN yes, and thats a disease where you hear voices in your head. Your the only ignorant person here.
@@nipongvaj lmao - the last sh*t I took means more to me than your ignorant opinion....LMAO

Blind G.O.A.T.

Very determined!
what a time to open a restaurant...
It was opened before COVID and they have adapted by doing takeaways and delivery
Christine,
It would give me great pleasure to see you and to eat some of the dishes that made you as Chef Christine.

Greatest of all time
Blindly
Blind goat
Perfect name 😊
I can only imagine how much cooking she’ll actually do. Prob just be her recipes.
"beam me up Scotty and bring me to Christine and her restaurant The Blind Goat"! 🙏
"Do not let what you can't do interfere with what you can do." I don't remember who said it first
She's beautiful too.
Will definitely visit this restaurant when I travel to Houston.. I thought the goat was towards vietnamese goat hot pot 😂😅
I can not wait to go to Houston and try the the blind G.O.A.T
Inspiring
Oh, I thought that she actually was full-on blind, this makes more sense.
I thought that too even when she was asked she said she was completely blind
I think she is, the stimulation they show is not fully accurate I believe...
@@catinheels88 In the video she explains that she can see shadows. She is not completelly blind.
The video shown wasn't actually how she sees, its foggier and she only see shadow, she cant make shapes properly.
Why r ppl being so toxic lmfao. The restaurant name sounds just fine and just show Christine some support.
I've literally not seen any toxic comment though?
@@toxiweb4435 I have :P Aha i shouldn't have said "why r people" as a whole. I meant "why are *some* people being so toxic."
I support Christine Ha.
Imagine if every masterchef US winner went together and ran a resturant together
The blind goat, fits perfectly, GOAT- Greatest of all time.
No disrespect here and I love Christine Ha, are there any glasses or devices that may assist her in focusing better??
I just found out about her like 10 Minutes ago and now she got her own Restaurant and Cook Book. 250000$ winning price well spend i guess.
She could see with Google glasses 🥺 partially blind people can actually do that..imagine how good shed be if she could see
I hope she will get her vision back and rename her restaurant 20/20 Goat or Sunglassed Goat.
Still open?
I think her getting eliminated in season 3 was good for her cuz of the talk Gordon gave her about confidence
She won season 3.
Gordon:are you fkin blind!?
Her:yes chef
The whole Editing and showcasing didnt leave me satisfied i think they could have done a much better job portraying her.
not sure why I am thinking of The Flying Goat.
I wanted Christine to win. Have the judges come to eat there?
i thought she refers "goat" as greatest of all time lol
Am I the only one who saw the mispelled "resturant"?
Shes literally the same vision as stevie wonder. No hes not completely blind. Ask anyone who saw him drive or his neighbors who he says hello to in a lobby of people.
the way ur cutting that onion im sorry you cant
I have NO EXCUSES any more...Now I've seen everything......a blind chef? Seriously.....got to get a move on...she ROCKS!!!!
the way she describes her blindness sounds just like people without glasses.
Wow
open one in gulf shores al
I thought she was completely blind she even said herself when she was on master chef
blind just means she is visually impaired, being completely blind means that she has been correctly diagnosed with impairment, IDK just a guess
No, actually she gradually lost her vision. Blindness has degrees, you need to reach a certain degree to be legally blind just like Christene but you don't have to have zero sight.
Good for her, but she's legally blind, not blind. Big difference
You should sell the hats free promo and they look OK.
*The Blind Bandit would like to know her location*
Did the 3 judges came to visit the BLIND GOAT?
At least she can see little
Did they survive the pandemic If I've ever been used to I would like to try it?
covid hits hard
40% of comments are young kids being toxic.
Breaking news: 4 alarm fire reported at "The Blind Goat" in Houston. 😬
Can she not see there is a pandemic going on?
ice
The name is not politically correct.
It should be the Visually challenged Goat.
Was the crying about the apple pie real or fake
It's been year since I saw this video. Inviting you to check out Malaysia Dr Mahathir's favourite lamb dish by Atuk Asfa Kari Kambing Kaw.
h
Ohh and I thought that she was blind like blind blind that u see only black. So it’s still ok for her where she’s going sort of. It’s not that bad. So it’s like when u don’t have a glasses to sharp it off. Right.
What
Endhuku annatu mari?
To go to her restaurant is the only reason that I will be willing to violate my promise to myself to NEVER go to Texas again!
I would love to go back to Texas. Just not Houston. Can not stand that city. I lived not far from where her restaurant is, long ago. I'd happily go to Austin, San Antonio, east Texas, south Texas, Central Texas, just about anywhere but Houston. Or Dallas.
