I’m always inspired by people who continue to do do do even when their body tells them they can’t can’t can’t.

My aunt has been blind since she was born but that never stopped her from doing what she loved, she travels the world, is married , does the chores and is a professor in a university in Multan mashallah. One of the strongest women I know

I watched that season she is amazing !! In India I know a blaind man, he is born blind, by passion and profession carpenter, works all alone. He is perfectionist, but takes longer time to finish works. But my uncle is so fond of him that he did all the furniture in our ancestral home. His skill is God gifted..when we were little chidren used to observe him silently how he working...touching and sensing thing OMG its beyond description

I remember sitting in the living room in 2012 as an eighth grader with my sisters. We were really awestruck that she was actually in the finale but when Gordon announced her name, man oh man, the complete Cinderella story came true. The underdog went above and beyond. That moment defined me and my siblings' next couple of years thinking if this was what a blind person can do there's no frikkin way we were to fall behind. Years later, we who were more or less slackers, became succesful artists,engineers and psychologists.Christine impacted us in ways we could never fully understand. This is feminism that we need. Not the crap we have right now.
