Strong agree, as a western metal guy in my late 40s it's the one which did it for me, but SPECIFICALLY the original/official live in Japan version: czcams.com/video/zTEYUFgLveY/video.html . I have never seen better crowd control and engagement, by any band, ever. Bold statement I know, but I've been to a lot of concerts and Babymetal are truly impressive in that regard.*
      Also Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997: czcams.com/video/YjjWZpf_jSs/video.html
*With Japanese crowds. I've seen them live in my own country and there not quite as much, would be a cultural/fanbase thing.
There are a number of their songs - the older ones in particular - which I bounce off of (glad your first exposure wasn't Gimme Chocolate, it's worth watching a couple of times for the hell of it, but it's not on my playlist) but many are great.

As this video illustrates, Babymetal is all about the live performance above all else. Their stadium live stage shows in Japan are all on this kind of level of spectacle. Babymetal fans often say that Babymetal is a theatrical production as much as it is a band, because their stadium live stage shows in Japan are all on this kind of level of epic production, and their use of choreography, costumes, moving stage elements and video displays take their shows beyond a simple concert. I was actually at the show where this was filmed and was even more spectacular to experience in person that it is on video. It was their first live performance after an 18 month hiatus, so the crowd was particularly hyped for it.
The interaction with the live audience is a huge part of Babymetal's performance, which is why we always recommend that reactors watch their live performances, as that is where they shine brightest.
As for what to watch next, my recommendation is "Megitsune" Live @ PIA Arena 2023 - czcams.com/video/edbqQ-ldF_U/video.html

Welcome to the Foxhole (or BabyMetal's journey)🦊🤘🔥
Although this song was part of the 5 singles from latest album called The Other One, isn't one of the best exponents for first time watching what these girls can do on stage, regardless we love this performance and song although they didn't play it anymore.
Yesterday they already finished the Europe Tour making everyone rocking out with many more songs and hits.
Here's some brief info about them:
BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal".
    They are:
    *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26.
*MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24, next week is her birthday.
-YuiMetal- scream and dance, former member since 2018.
*MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 21 and is the new official member since April 1st last year.
    None of them are related.
After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said.
They got their own backing band when playing live called the Kami Band, but none of them are official members and in general they don't play studio album tracks like this one. In the full live version (with live sound) they're playing thou. More of them later.
    About this song:
This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch production. Many others found Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten apostles are holding crossiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol "OO"♾️ and is the title of this album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny or Lance Of Longinus from Evangelion anime series, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱
Here's some official info about this song:
    METAL KINGDOM (THRONE)
_"It is a powerful anthem ushering in the beginning of a new era while also representing the power and courage to step forward into uncharted territory. The track conveys imagery of one rising powerfully from the throne of silence, with a suitable fanfare announcing this new beginning."_
Ending January at Makuhari Messe, they held two big live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they met up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. Those freaking cinematic drone shots make you feel like you're in a movie. There's also a dance choreo version performed first outside of Japan during the World Tour 2023 and some fans witnessed this even more gorgeous performance, later they did it in their own country at an exclusive show only for fans.
This is a live proshot version but with studio album sound, we already got a live sound version with the WOWOW broadcast and the released DVD/BD version of BM Begins - The Other One live at PIA Arena MM, now with the three girls together on stage.
We had so many big news and announcements back then, a new official member was announced to come next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama, MomoMetal was the one blessed by the Fox God as a new official member. Also they performed with a new BM subunit coming from another world of this metalverse, they got new songs exclusive for them as well live shows and festivals following BM path.
I'm gonna try to leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it. Meanwhile next suggestion:
    - *Road Of Resistance* live in Japan official MV (2015).
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

Watching Babymetal live is an experience! If you ever get a chance to catch them live, especially when they're the headliners, they are a must-see. Their music is great, but it's usually even better live.
They're so good live, that I consider some of their live versions of songs to be the "definitive version" of the songs, as they're just that much better than the album versions.

Here's the list of live performance clips usually safe to reacts without any filters so you won't need to rely on live compilations, there might be some exceptions:
      - Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! live at Legend 1997, SuMetal 16th Birthday in 2013, they got MV of this and is fun, but live is a blast.
      czcams.com/video/LNFiDWJh2FA/video.html
      - Akatsuki, live at Budokan 2014, this is a SuMetal solo.
      czcams.com/video/g2372C5PJLM/video.html
      - Megitsune, official MV is my first recommendation but is usually blocked if you don't put filters, so if you want live and safe to react, check it out Budokan 2014.
      czcams.com/video/dU38CYkpBvI/video.html
      - Akatsuki Unfinished Version, SuMetal solo again but with only a piano behind special performance at Legend 1997.
      czcams.com/video/nwsinmxTxbo/video.html
      - Babymetal Death, live at Legend 1997, this is the big finale, you're gonna blow your mind with this one.
      czcams.com/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/video.html
      - Catch Me If You Can with Kami Band intro live at Budokan 2014.
      czcams.com/video/ng8U_j0gpLI/video.html
      - Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere Festival 2014, sometimes the official live MV isn't so friendly so you know what to do.
      czcams.com/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/video.html
      - Rondo Of Nightmare, with Mischiefs Of Metal Gods Intro live at Budokan 2014, another SuMetal solo but way different than usual happy songs.
      czcams.com/video/8WBDiLMNZcE/video.html
      - Doki Doki Morning, official MV, their very first song and MV full of kawaiiness, usually is safe to react so try it, if you want a live performance, this is the first proshot version with the Kami Band live at Legend 1999 (YuiMetal and MoaMetal 14th birthday).
      czcams.com/video/BSjv9OYtWZ0/video.html
      - Uki Uki Midnight, this one is a follow up to Doki Doki Morning but way different sound, this is the PV, is super fun but the sound isn't so great but at least is live.
      czcams.com/video/Yj-UQIlqsIQ/video.html
If you want better sound with the Kami Band, then live at Budokan 2014 it is.
      czcams.com/video/ESzY9dL613Q/video.html
      - Onedari Daisakusen, live at Legend 1997, this is a Black Babymetal song, is a subgroup with only YuiMetal and MoaMetal.
      czcams.com/video/1dT1ywYR5So/video.html
      - Iine! again official MV hits way better but if you want live, here live at Budokan 2014.
      czcams.com/video/5sCvYVNeD0w/video.html
      - Karate live at Download Festival 2016, "kitsune6001" got this with a short interview intro.
      czcams.com/video/FKOL6v3Md2c/video.html
      - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official live MV, be careful with the blocked by putting some filters just in case.
      czcams.com/video/zTEYUFgLveY/video.htmlsi=BsVOSExS25Qndy1H
      - Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai - Answer For Animation With You, live at Budokan 2014, not sure if it's still safe, so try some filters, if is audio blocked try to mute or just cut the parts.
      czcams.com/video/M8FKumvh-w8/video.html
Here's a song you can find at Babymetal Reactor Resource (BMRR), a helpful place to get watermarked logo clips of the original live version to curve the annoying algo.
      - GJ! live at Wembley Arena 2016, another Black Babymetal song.
      czcams.com/video/Hg0Rylcg8F0/video.html
This is BMRR short vid to follow instructions and get the spreadsheet with the full list.
      czcams.com/video/q40VmTHSh4c/video.html
And here's a BM guide (the long one).
      czcams.com/video/aIb2xEthdSg/video.htmlsi=EnEYU4nN3tuiY3WL
There's a beginners guide at "Briaghh" called "So... What is BabyMetal?" is more short and with some fair update until last year unlike the other one with full updates till this year.

Great first reaction, welcome to the BABYMETAL Foxhole.🦊This was filmed in January 2023, this was the opening number for their 'BABYMETAL Returns' concerts - their first live shows in nearly 2 years as they came back from taking a lengthy hiatus.
'Metal Kingdom' is the first track and intro on the album they released in March 2023 - so of course they used it for the epic opening number at these concerts.
They really do put on the best shows when they play the arenas in Japan (obviously they don't have the huge productions on their world tours, but they still put on the best live shows even without all the moving stages and so on). They're not just concerts they are events that you experience - and the audience is a huge part of their live shows, they make a point of involving and including everybody. Their crowd control is incredible.
Su-metal is the lead vocalist and she is amazing. The whole concept was formed and developed around her vocal talents and stage presence in 2010 ... she was only 12 years old.
BABYMETAL are a trio. The original three were Su-metal, Yuimetal and Moametal (Yui and Moa were 11 when they started).
Yes all 3 sing, but Yui and Moa are mainly backing vocals and harmonies. Their main function is leading the choreo (which is bespoke for each song and interpretive - quite helpful for those of us who don't speak Japanese ... although as you said, when it all sounds so good and engages you regardless of the language it doesn't matter so much) and engaging with and leading the crowd.
Yuimetal last appeared in October 2017, she missed the 2018 tour because of an ongoing health issue (nobody knows what) and in October 2018 she announced she was still not fully recovered and had decided she would leave the band to follow her own personal dreams.
Su and Moa continued as a duo for the next 4 or 5 years, supported from 2019 by three dancers (the Avengers Riho, Kano and Momoko) who would take turns dancing, but not singing, in the third spot.
At the end of the shows in January last year they teased there would be a new third member and in the next big shows ('BABYMETAL Begins') in April last year they revealed the last remaining Avenger Momoko (Riho is now a solo artist, Kano is in a JPop group) would be the new member - so she is now Momometal ... and she has her microphone to sing as well ... and it seems she is bringing something new to BABYMETAL with some metal growls.
They always had some growls and screaming in a lot of their songs, but they were on backing track with additional instruments like synth, piano, strings and so on.
They are supported in live shows by the Kami Band (2 lead guitars, bass and drums), all of them world class musicians. The Kami Band of the East (Japanese session musicians) first appeared in October 2012 and became the full time support for all live shows from March 2014.
The January 2023 concerts were the last time (to date) that they appeared. There were many Kami Band members who would swap in and out depending on their availability, but the same hard core of about 6 musicians played the majority of shows in those 9 years.
In 2019 the Kami Band of the West (American musicians Chris Kelly, CJ Masciantonio, Clint Tustin and Anthony Barone) were introduced to support BABYMETAL on their increasingly lengthy foreign tours. They have played every concert since the April 2023 shows - that was nearly 100 shows in 25 countries in 2023 and I've lost count of the concerts and festivals they have already played this year.
Clint Tustin on bass has been replaced by Ryan Neff for some shows in the US last year and most shows this year as Clint is performing with his own band.
This was the official video, so the audio was from the studio recording dubbed over the live performance video .... the DVD has the live audio and, as is always the case when you get Su-metal's live vocals and the Kami Band's live instrumentals, it is even better.
BABYMETAL are like no other band, they do things their own way (having 3 vocalists and introducing choreographed dance to metal for a start), but from their original idea of fusing metal with JPop hooks, melodies and aesthetics they have gone on to mix and blend so many more musical styles and genres with the metal.
They have about 70 songs now, each on different to the last. Expect the unexpected - and they will still surprise you nearly every time.
I'm sure you will get a load of great suggestions for more songs. To start you off with something completely different I will suggest a very early song live at Su-metal's 16th birthday celebration in December 2013 - 'Headbanger' live at Legend 1997. You can find it posted by abr metal.

What's their history? Oh boy! How much time do you have? Hehe... No, seriously, they have a really interesting and different history and you will know about it at some point.
For now, you need to know that they started in 2010, being 12 and 11 years old (you will see videos where they were, sounded and looked really young). They are better live (this MV unfortunately has the studio track over the visuals from an actual concert). They are very diverse musically since they don't hesitate on mixing any music genre with metal (any subgenre) and they are highly unpredictable. So, always expect the unexpected. 😁
    Enjoy your BABYMETAL journey!

Babymetal is not a band you can judge from one song. There is so much range and variety you can't pigeonhole them.
As far as vocals , it is mostly going to be Sumetal (suzuka) the one you saw doing most of the singing here. The other ,Moametal (Moa )is woefully underutilized as far as vocals. Her "job" is "dance and scream" . They mostly have her do chantlike vocals like in this. And there is usually extreme choreography in the shows.
This is from a show last year. Moa was 23 and and Su 25 at the time. But when they first started Performing live Moa and Yui (the original 3rd member who left soon after her 18th birthday for health reasons) were 11 and Su 12. Moa and Yui were still 11 and Su had turned 13 about a month, maybe 2 before there first video ,Doki Doki morning was released.
Not all shows are like this as far as production wise, but they do a lot of shows of this caliber that they film and release as concert videos. They alot of times coincide with the girls birthdays. Such as legend 1999 which was for Moa and Yui's birthdays which are about 2 weeks apart. It's called Legend 1999 because they were born in 1999.
Legend 1997 later the same year was the night before Su's 16th birthday (she was born in 1997) . Legend M was for Moa's 20th birthday I believe and just this year there was a legend MM concert that was for the new member they officially added last April Momoka.
Even the shows they aren't filming for videos are amazing though.
Just keep in mind, they were and I believe still are the youngest group to headline the Budokon in Japan. I believe the two younger girls were 13 and Su 15 .A venue they have sold out many many times including for multiple nights in a row runs.
They have also done a back to back 2 night appearance at the Tokyo dome and sold out all 55,000 seats both nights. (.Moa and Yui were 17 and Su 18)
Their ages at the time just make everything even more impressive.

Great reaction, subscribed! I subscribed to watch you while you discover the magical lands of BABYMETAL 😄 As others pointed out already, this was studio audio dubbed over the live performance, the real live version is even better. And yes, Su-Metal sounds like what you already listened to, but with real live you´ll be blown away by her voice.
You watched the "mature" BABYMETAL, with a little bit more refined production, performance, costumes, whatnot. But they were like this even in their early days. BABYMETAL live performances in Japan are always a blast 😄 There´s another performance of "Metal Kingdom", a few months later, at the PIA Arena MM in Yokohama, done by the actual, reborn trio constellation of BABYMETAL. You might have noticed that in this performance there were only two of the ladies shown "in person"...
    - "Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)" from 2015 would be a treat for you, I think! It´s "classic" BABYMETAL, btw. 😉Despite the "OFFICIAL" in its title, it´s a real live performance, including audio. They did this song at the "BABYMETAL Begins" concert, too, "Road of Resistance PIA Arena MM Clear Night 2023". Not THAT epic, but still... epic 😆
    - " 'Headbanger' live at Legend 1997" from 2013 would be another great performance for you to watch. You could choose to watch the more recent version of it, which was performed at Makuhari Messe in 2023, same concert as the version of "Metal Kingdom" you just reacted to. Just in case, if you like to watch an epic crowd 😉
    - "BABYMETAL Death" was released as official video on the BABYMETAL channel recently, to celebrate the 10 years anniversary of the debut album "BABYMETAL". It might get blocked, tho, but worth a try. If it gets blocked too hard, try the MUCH more epic version from 2013 (11 years ago!), "BABYMETAL Death Legend 1997". It´s EPIC for real! 😉

Yes, Su is the lead singer, with Moa and Momoko mainly doing backing vocals (as well as choreography and audience interaction). There are a few songs with them doing lead vocals as well, but Babymetal was built around Su's voice, and she is indeed a terrific singer. This particular video is actually not using the live audio though. But you can easily check out their performance of _Metal Kingdom_ at the PIA Arena last year, if you actually want to hear it live. Which you do, because it sounds even better :-)
If you want to hear more from their latest album (like maybe _Monochrome)_ the live performances from the PIA Arena are great. But I would suggest maybe going back to their first few albums and checking out what you have been missing out on these last 14 years. Like the official live video of _Road of Resistance_ from the Saitama Super Arena in 2015. A power metal anthem which is sort of a tribute to DragonForce (with Herman Li and Sam Totman actually being invited to play the guitars on the studio version):

Loved catching your reaction, l&s look forward to more! You are in for years of enjoyment finding individual performances, they are always excellent, always theatrical, always put on a show, and no two songs or live versions of songs are exactly the same. The only thing you can count on is it will be fun, it will be excellent, and it will be different.
TLDR - history and why i suggest a song after this
Their first performances they were teenagers, borrowing clothes from family and friends to try to match on stage, playing strip malls or small stages mostly with people they knew attending. They had a song go viral in Japan in about 2011-2012 that led to them getting some music house gigs (think small venue of like 1k-3k) that packed and sold out, then one of those in 2013 went world-wide viral which led to them getting invited to perform a side stage at Sonisphere festival in the UK - but just before the show they got bumped to the main stage (think 50k+ UK metalheads who have almost all never heard of Babymetal). They crushed that performance, and skyrocketed from there to this day. Super talented, hard working, impressive in every single aspect of their music and shows.
All that said, I'd suggest "BABYMETAL - Ijime,Dame,Zettai - Live at Sonisphere 2014,UK (OFFICIAL)" from their main channel, it's the final song of their set that day, and they nailed the whole performance to the point where the crows was chanting for more. Su-Metal (lead singer) waving to the crowd at the end of the song is just such pure joy as well.

Welcome & Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed this very show at the venue in January last year with tears. The show included wide range of music, heavy to comical, as usual.
BABYMETAL is the best musical phenomenon I have ever experienced in my 68-year-long life. (Before BM, I was a stubborn jazz / funk lover) We say "Japan is the country obsessed by Rock Music". The history is very long and the obsession started in 1966 when Beatles visited Japan and held 5 concerts at Budokan. Speaking of hard rock / heavy metal music, a number of bands started to come to Japan since as early as 1970s : Led Zeppelin / Grand Funk Railroad (1971), Deep Purple (1972), Queen (1975), Kiss (1977), Cheap Trick / Van Halen / Scorpions (1978), Judas Priest (1978/79) and so on. Now, any type of rock can be enjoyed here, especially by many all-female or women-fronted bands. They are daughters of American / European rock, for sure. (Many are grand-daughters in terms of age.)
Uh-oh, we also say "Japan is the country obsessed by Jazz". It had started earlier than rock 😄

To go along with some of the other suggestions, if you choose to do headbanger, should do the Legend 1997 live first. I would actually suggest to do a double reaction in one for it though. With Legend 1997 being the first version followed by the Moabanger version of it for the second. There are a couple other versions, including Momobanger, however, at the moment, the only version of Momobanger that's available is a compilation and can be quite confusing on the visual vs audio.

Well this song is a bit special. It is heavily interconnected with the three Thrones. No, for these shows you have to visit their bigger japanese shows. Moa and Momo are according to Babymetals Roster Dance and Scream, but in fact, they can and do sing. They are in cerzain Songs Background Singers, although since rhey started to integrate Momo they now go more tp the foreground and Su harmonizes with them Su and Moa are still the Founding Parts of Babymetal from 2010 when Koba still was busy with the problem how to get 10 year olds in Heavy Metal, when they are terrified by the music. Bur as he later learned, you don't they are a force of nature, you simply use it and this was one of their first "Gimmicks", while Su, was the sensible part where the 10 year old always complained. But Well at that time 2 year differences were a hige Golf, but in this show Su is the Queen and Moa her General, and in this special Show they tried to aquire as many of the old Sakura Gakuin Girls as they could get.

I just recently discovered BabyMetal by coincidence, and I have not had this feeling of love for music since I discovered Metallica in the late 1980s. Had a look through your other videos, and from those, and what you said about your taste in music, I am hitching a ride on your journey. I have been diving down the foxhole for a while, so here is some help with Headbanger!
There are several versions of this song. I suggest you start with the first two and save the rest for if you dive deeper into the foxhole.

Great reaction and welcome to Babymetal! A few tips for future reactions to Babymetal:
1). Babymetal is by design, a live performance act. So their live is always better!
2). From Babymetal’s channel: “Official” = studio audio (over live video or MV). “Official Live” = live audio. So unfortunately, the audio you heard was studio audio.
3). Here’s a link to live video AND audio of this exact performance, so you can hear the difference - spoiler alert, it’s way better 😉😆

Sorry for the long post ! Hope you don't mind lol. 😵‍💫📫
They performed MK live in Both Chiba & Yokohama last year. There are actually two different performances out now officially. This with live video feed but studio audio track. The live video/audio is a bit more dynamic in the vocal performancs & even better!!
Live audio is usually reserved for the Blue-Ray DVD releases. So people are more apt to wait for the Blue-Ray releases for purchase. Which also is due to Japan's strict copyright laws.
Not to mention is a common practice for live broadcasts in Japan anyways. So it limits technical issues and ensures a live performance doesn't cut into breaks & commercials.
Metal Kingdom is absolutely epic live though as I can attest to. Having seen them in Yokohama & twice in Vegas. Along with their epic performances with Bring Me The Horizon in Kingslayer. Kingslayer is one of many amazing collaborations they have done over the years.
    _______________________________________________
Anyway, just as a contrast to Metal Kingdom here. I can recommend a couple of classic live Babymetal performances you may enjoy. One is Rondo of Nightmare Mischiefs of Metal Gods at Budokan Live.
Which highlights the brillant Kami Band in their orgional glory. Su-Metal was maybe 17 at the time and already a seasoned pro at this stage.
Safety concerns aside, as you will see. Su-Metal was fearless & already a force to be reconned with here in this now legendary performance. The second being Tales of Destinies.
Which was a tribute to Dream Theatre"s Dance of Eternity. Which was performed at the Tokyo Dome & attended by 55,000 each night of this epic two day only event. It was actually performed in two parts, which you have to react to separately, unfortunately.
    ___________________________________________
The second track was called "The One". The stage set for this performance will blow your mind and had the girls flying high above the Tokyo Dome in a triangle platform. Which has me thinking these ladies were absolutely fearless at time for being maybe 14-16 at the time.
The One was in English mostly as a tribute to all the fans who supported them over the years. As in more recent interviews, you will see just how good Su's English has progressed now.
Babymetal has since had a Rockstar year. Having just performed a massive 96+ tour schedule which never really ended lol. Along with several live performances & collaborations.
One of which was Bring Me The Horizon with Kingslayer as mentioned earlier. Finally, after a 3 year collaboration called Project Kingslayer. Had given us the only two live performances with Oli in Japan & Vegas. There is a Behind the Scenes making of this as well.
    _____________________________________________
Which highlights the project and interviews with Moa and Su-Metal. Along with BMTH Japan's Next_Fest performance, which Oli has featured on his CZcams page. The second is with Brand New Day feat Tim Henson and Scott LePage of Polyphia. 🙀💕
This one shocked even me as it was done 5 years ago & only now finally found the time to perform it live but well worth the wait. This is a live audio feed as well btw & sounds incredible.
Then there was "Leave It All Behind." Yet another interesting collaboration between thai rapper F.Hero & rock band Bodyslam. For time sake, I will have others mention it here in more detail.
The last and most successful however this year. Was with Electric Callboy & Babymetal in RATATATA. Which now is Babymetal's first #1 single to top the Billboard Rock charts.
Babymetal is now the only metal band from Asia. To have both a #1 Single & #1 Album to top Billboard Rock charts. Not bad for a band celebrating their 14th anniversary. Did I say I wasn't writing a book here lol. Great reaction & Welcome to the Foxhole! 🤘🦊

Babymetal shows in Japan are next level, the effort they put in both musically and production wise are top tier, they are one the most polished acts out there today. I would suggest that you watch videos from the more recent concerts like the ones from "PIA Arena", "Budokan 2021" or "Makuhari" before watching their older shows, some people are put off by their older shows simply because of their age, don't get me wrong the earlier shows are fantastic and must be seen but many metal heads are quick to right them off watching them when they where kids calling them just a gimmick , you don't stick around for 14 plus years as just a gimmick.

For old Babymetal it is Megitsune, Ijime Dame Zettai, Headbanger or Road of Resistance. For newer Babymetal Monochrome, Mirror Mirror, Divine Attack. This video is also not live it is studio over live video. They are better live as are most Japanese bands. The Japanese music industry compresses music in studio but when unleashed live it has a deeper and wider sound.

All of the bands recommended in that comment are awesome. Lovebites is another that has more of a classic metal feel. Band-maid is amazing all-around, and Hanabie are quite the experience. All the Japanese rock bands I've heard are great and have their own very distinct sounds. Search any of them on CZcams and pick from any of the more popular videos and you won't be disappointed. If you want to see more of the band in Babymetal I would suggest Rondo of Nightmare(mischief of gods intro) or Kagerou(with Kami Band intro). There are 2 different "Kami" bands (East-US & West-Japan) that have played with them. Older shows will all have the original Japanese Kami band with white face paint while the last few years they've played with the East band who wear black masks.
Lovebites - Holy War, Stand and Deliver, Swan Song, Nameless Warrior (Live versions on their channel)
Band-Maid - Freedom(Official Live Video), Onset, Domination, Shambles, Hate?, No God, Black Hole, Don't You Tell Me(Live versions) -- Whole band is A++, but ❤Akane on drums!
BABYMETAL - Headbanger, Road of Resistance, Distortion, Megitsune, Gimmie Chocolate(all live in Japan). For Su-Metal's vocals - Monochrome(First Take piano), No Rain, No Rainbow, Akatsuki, or Light and Darkness,. Ratatata! w/ Electric Callboy and Kingslayer w/ Bring Me The Horizon(Live in Tokyo) are high-energy collabs to say the least. All of their live performances are great fun to watch/listen and Su's voice is captivating. Every one of the Kami band members are truly masters of their respective crafts.
