for @noelheath 's trick when he puts the angel in the palm of his hand the pack is under his hand and he puts a card between hes fingers under his hand and he flips it on top after sending the angel back in the deck
1 thing to remember is a lot of stuff like this has been 2 things A. practiced for hours to perfect and B. usually stuff that looks insane is someone's main fidget move like mine was bullet for awhile and now its perfected

Yes, moves like padiddle or pirouette is easier with a smooth finish deck
