- Would you live in a New York City apartment if it would fit inside your current house? The great thing is you’re living in Manhattan, but the bad thing is you’re going to need to embrace minimalism.
Thanks to @CharlesMunroe for the tour!

Great news! If you make a purchase from any link above, my channel earns a small affiliate commission from the site.
I lived in an apartment like this and faced back where it hardly had any sunlight in midtown Manhattan. I was young and excited in the beginning, and then I experienced claustrophobia and depression within 2 years..Sad part of being in NY.
I have heard it has the highest rate of depression.Hope you are better now.
I live in Los Angeles and just watching these videos makes me depressed! But then. I've never been a fan or jail bar windows or looking at those ugly brick buildings out the windows. The people are rude, neighborhoods are covered with graffiti and the traffic/driving is AWFUL.
I cannot imagine, but can fully understand.
My thing was that it was literally right next door to impossible to find somewhere to be alone other than my tiny bedroom.
NYC is expensive
As always, I appreciate the attention given to baked goods in the neighborhoods.
Charles seems to specialize in classic, older apartments that have been refurbished. They tend to have large rooms like these units. They also tend to be pricey.
Yup u right & pricy
The reason most people don't like 1 bathroom places to be in the bedroom is because guests have to walk through the bedroom
Exactly & I hate that lol
These apartments are homey and very usable. I love the one with the patio best.
Great places today! Sun was hiding from you until the end. Always fun when these boys are together.
Just love when u have Charles on 😊 Brother is Smoooooth 🤙🏽love the channel ❣️
Thought the "Dog Bandana", was a Panty.
I love when you tag-team, with Charles!!
Thanks for another great episode of the C&C Roadshow guys. Love all the apartments but very pricy of course but I've now come to expect that. Nearly died laughing when Cash had an 'oops' with that window that nearly went out the window!
Me TOO . . . Thought I was witnessing Cash's demise . . . 💀
@SMGPoetryarts Cash said he was trying to get a picture.
I lived in NYC my whole life until 2 years ago when I retired and moved out of state. I really miss it in a lot of ways, but I really like seeing these videos. The apartments are fun to see of course, but I also love the street scenes and neighborhood highlights shown in the videos. Really well done!
Oh my goodness me too . I lived in NYC since 1970, we just bought a house by the NJ Shore with our own private beach. The small town is so safe that i never lock my door. I sleep with door open and screen door closed only . And I too miss NYC sometimes. So then I get in my car and spend the day in NYC, it’s only a 2 Hr drive.
@@ChildofGodforevr It's good you moved close enough so when you want to go back, it's not too much of a trip. I went to SW Fla. I like it but it's very different. I've done things I had never done before like kayaking and sailing so it's been good but I still miss it. It's kind of sleepy around here by 8-9 pm and that's quite tough to get used to!
So great and yet alot leaving the city
Youre lucky u left ---its sinking....and when the magnetosphere collapses more, it will flood
Hi Cash and Charles, absolutely love the New York tours!
Best thing on a Thursday (Friday Jr). Cash and Charles!
YAY! Charles brings the best!!!❤❤❤
The shrine made a comeback!
If you know, you know!❤🎉❤
Shrine to your god!
2:32 to 2:36 🤣🤣🤣🤣 love me some Cash especially when he’s with Charles ❤️
Cash "tha man with a plan" Jordan, and Charles "large and in charge" Monroe. My favourite duo of all times here in these CZcams streets. Great video gentlemen, and some really nice apartments. 👍
I liked them all. The third one was my favorite though.
Cash, always great to see you and Charles. Both of you add a rhythm that is enjoyable and fun to watch. Your entire presentation is visually appealing. Your edits are well structured and your audio is always interesting. Keep going.
☮️👏👏👏👏👏👏
I actually liked all 3! I'm a sucker for fireplaces and real wood floors. Those rooms are HUGE! Also, an energetic area/neighborhood of Manhattan proper. Charles comes through again! For me, it's really a toss-up between the first one-bedroom unit ($4250/month) and the third unit one-bedroom ($4375/month). While I would not enjoy people having to walk through my bedroom to use the bathroom, that outdoor space is located nicely (from the living space) and appears to be a quiet respite. The latter unit had a distinct kitchen area and counter that I liked. Very enjoyable tour! THANKS!
I knew you would love all of them! I agree that the bathroom thru the bedroom isn't ideal BUT it's way better than the bathroom almost in the kitchen like we've seen b4
Its NOT a fireplace unless its can be used as a FIREPLACE! And paying those prices for an apartment you will NEVER own is moronic!
Ahhhhhh my old neighborhood! I miss the city but I don’t miss the rent. ❤
Love when Charles shows up!! ❤😂
I'm thinking that when Cash was a kid, the other kids' moms didn't want him playing at their house.
Awesome job Jordan see you on Sunday thumb up
See you then
These are pretty great apartments. Size and finishes are above average, but I still can't imagine paying those kinds of rents. Love team Cash & Charles! Always entertaining!
Love the promise of seeing a tiny apartment. Someday Cash will be showing apartments you measure in square inches. 😂
Another tiny apartment that never materialized, oh well come to know he click baits titles.
@@hannahanderson4305 yes. His titles RARELY pan out in the videos
maybe someday we will actually see the apt promised in the clickbait title.
Content is still amazing
Thanks
Oh, Charles! LOL! I love this man so much.🤣
I love your videos but how do I keep missing the apartments in the description? I didn't see any smaller than a closet.
He's so close to 10,000 too. One day Charles, I'll see how you film your videos.
Loved the last apartment and the open kitchen living room. It was beautiful. Charles is the man. I love the collaborations with him and Cash. You two are fantastic. ❤
Charles almost had to whoop Cash. 😂
Love the broom closet at TS 11:30.
I live in a 800sqft house. in a highly sought-after neighborhood in my hometown. Fenced in backyard. Off street parking and detarched garage. Front yard. Two bedroom, one bath. 300sqft annex attached to the detached garage with a halfbath. Zillow says rent on my home would be approx $1994/mo. The number of residents in my entire county is the same number of residents in one neighborhood in NYC.
Good for you.🙄
@@theoriginalbridgetconnors simply making a comparison.
Charles ALWAYS has the best apartments!!!
Loved the second and third apartments. But the first one with the two windows facing each other in different rooms is like TWILIGHT ZONE EPISODE where there is you looking at you. Spooky
all 3 were amazing!
Last time I was this early to a Cash Jordan video... well, tbh I've NEVER been this early to a Cash Jordan video
Hi Cash and to your friend this is very simple and tiny NYC closet apartment. I like minimalism. I would need a little more space for a nice pet dog or cat. I like collecting a few vintage things mostly vintage bags and jewelry. I would need a bigger closet and more living room space. The bathroom is ok. Great tour of Manhattan NY. Stay well and safe 👍🐶😺
I really dislike when every window in the apartment faces a shaftway. Aside from it being an awful view, does one ever think that when you open that window you are going to get a smell from the damp, dank, moldy stench that comes from an area without any sunlight?? And then you have to contend with hearing everyone's air conditioner humming. I'd rather take a street view any day with a little noise rather than that.
Plus where do you go in case of fire?
Good point! I haven't thought of that one yet.
@@vincentgoupil180 Interesting factoids you have there. Much appreciated
@@vincentgoupil180 Hilarious ...I love the way you put things.. You would entertain me greatly on storytelling night
I liked the 1st and 2nd ones. I don't prefer the island/breakfast counter. I'm never gonna sit there and eat. I like to eat at a regular kitchen/dining table. I might use that counter for 10 minutes out of the day to prepare a meal. Other than that I feel it wastes space and makes the apartment feel smaller than it is. Some may find those counters useful though.
All of these had so much storage and nice kitchens. Can't imagine living there though. Too costly
This is Gonna b so Helpful CJ🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Thursday😀….
Especially with u n CM👍….
I love your videos! But, I’m still waiting for the apartment that doesn’t have good water pressure 😂. I don’t think you’ve found one yet
Tag team back again love you all working together
Don't you love climbing those twirly things with a tray full of hot beverages? What could go wrong?
Good morning Cash
Well Cash "crash & bang" Jordan has struck again. 1st a towel ring comes off the wall in his hand & now a window. I'm sorry but i am laughing. At least the window didn't fall all the way to the ground outside. Charles definitely didn't disappoint with these apartments! That building has some character for sure. Wondering if that elevator isn't considered the freight 1. Seems like a smaller 1 is right next to it. The 1st place was nice with the outside space off the living room. No crazy ladders or death defying spiral staircase to get to a roof deck. While the bathroom has to be accessed thru the bedroom, I think it's way better than it being right at the kitchen. 2nd with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths & a working fireplace? Nice! Even the 3rd want bad. Every single room in each apartment was really generous in size. Don't know what the laundry room looked like tho. I'm on the fence with the prices tho. Yes they're midtown & you're paying for the neighborhood but all you're getting for the $$$ is the apartment. Always great to see Charles tho.
😂 I wish that name would stick : Cash "Crash & Bang" Jordan !!!!! 🤣🤣🤣👍
Cash "crash n bash " Jordan
Charles, I see you still have your hands full watching over Cash to make sure he doesn't break too much stuff. BB NYC Apartment Rentals Realty at it again! You guys are great! AND Cash, lets make a deal...if you promise not to talk about 'life changing doughnuts' I promise not to talk about 'life changing milkshakes'...
You and Charles are the best.
Love it! Great joke Charles 😂😂😂
I def want this apartment. Like this is def my apartment one day. That mid building view is CLUTCH for privacy!
All great apartments!♥
I have seen chicken coops bigger than that tiny apartment! Love the old elevator.
I had a small house that you had to go thru the bedroom to get to the bathroom, wasn't as big as these places but a giant backyard, I liked it
these are what apartments should look like.. in comparison, u get the 1st one wich is quite comfy and spacious , ands outdoor space, 4k, or that tiny one room place we saw last week?
Your channel is very good. It's great how you walk around the neighborhood and show local shops.
Yes ! A working fireplace. Thank you.
Hire a Chimney Sweep when you move in. Creosote is no joke.
I love that i can put on a Cash video and be automatically transported to NYC without doing the 12 hours on Amtrak❤
I love watching your videos.
Why do some people not like en suites? I'm a pretty light sleeper and someone p-ing at 3am will wake me up.
I thought it was that the only loo was through the bedroom which is ok if you live alone but even then guests have to go through your bedroom when visiting in the evening.
@@grigorisgirl Another fair point. I lived in one NYC apartment where you had to walk through the kitchen, in between to sink and the stove, to get to the bathroom.
@@taylorlibby7642 Well here in UK that is still fairly common in older, mainly Northern houses. To get a bathroom in upstairs means losing a bedroom
If you're sleeping and someone is p-ing in the bathroom at 3am, I hope it's at least someone you know!
@@theoriginalbridgetconnors Me too!!😂🤣
Enjoy your videos but have to get used to the New York jargon. What you call a walk-in closet would be a coat closet in my area. Your full sized dishwashers are twice as wide here. You normally only see a single sink in the bar area here. We have double sinks. One for washing, the other for rinsing. Our smallest bathrooms are twice the size of the ones you show.
if cash jordan does not watch him self. Charles will kick him to curb for slamming and breaking things.
Could you possibly go over the safety of each the neighborhoods in the future?
Sorry to repeat comment, that third place was amazing!!
Love your video's, Thank-you!
Shower niche (shelf withon the the shower), attached bathrooms are called an en suite.
Cash, you need a camera or even a portable light for these places that don't have power. Buy one, they'll make your videos better.
wow...who cares about where the bath is if you are living by yourself? people are crazy..the second one the 2bed was nice...unless you lose a roomate
Cash is charming and adorable!!! Can't get enough of him!!!❤
Nice apartments. As much as I like them, however, I probably would not live in them. I would try to find a way to squeeze more money into the monthly amount to make it my mortgage payment on the 2 bedroom condo across the street from Central Park: That place was awesome! As for PF Chang To Go, they can go away. Just awful fake Chinese food. I would just as soon rather go to Panda Express. And that is not saying much.
Nothin like video with Charles and Cash
I thought the 6200 (2B+2B) was cheap af
You will be in that dismal one bedroom a lot because the rent will leave you broke.
So the landlord wants how much for a place that he hasn’t update since 1970. 🙄
Hi Cash, in our building in Montreal, they number 1 to 12, then 12-B to the Penthouse level on 20. I have a question, since you are showing Very High End units that are WAY Expensive, and Mid Range and Closet sized apartments, which are renting better? High End or Mid to Low end units?? And do these videos pay off monthly ??
That donut shoppe used to be a bank when I worked around there. LOL
I actually feel sorry for people that live like this. They got you thinking this is normal.
"So cheap" lol. They are big at least.
We enjoy watching your videos tours of NYC apartments for the rich. NYC is a place that I used to love to visit. Nothing could ever get me to live there. It is not a 'real' place. It is more like another planet. You should look beyond NYC to see places that are affordable to normal people, and compare. When I see some of the rents, I just think what a really nice house could be bought with that money. Anyway, keep posting your entertaining videos.
Cash and Charles....the dream team =)
Hi Cash 💸
Yea, if you don't mind living in a box!!!!!
I don't think there are a lot of circular apartments.
Third would be perfect for me. Except I live in Europe and have knowlegde how to rent this apartment 😂
Rotating towel hooks? OH MY!!
You can get a job at the Late Night Show and live here! 😅
Lotta things in the neighborhood tour in this vid reminds me of my city.
I wouldn't oversell the foyer as a "slash dining area", I'd say, "It's a foyer, but the former tenants were using it as a dining area".
I lived in a building that skipped the 13th floor. That number is lucky to some people though.
LMAO, that's a $6K window for you!
This video is so funny!
Charming apartments in this building. The building guy was authentic New Yorker, too
Where are the walk in closets? Oh, hi Charles.
Charles!
i wish we could caught cash filming out side in the hail.
Okay I know you don't live anywhere near where I live now. I was living on long island.. but had to move because I couldn't afford an affordable place that was close enough for me to get to work on time in the mornings. I had to be there by 6:00 a.m.. so I moved back Upstate near my family.. and I live in New Paltz New York.. you can get a very simple but cheap breakfast for $2.95. That's two to three eggs, toast, and home fries. A cup of coffee will cost you $1.95 Sulphur around $5.40 you can get a decent breakfast.
That second apartment is $6,100 per month.. Cash said "Why is this place so cheap." Typical New Yorker.
I like the first apartment what the only thing I didn't like was you have to enter through the bedroom to get to the bathroom that means guess we'll have to come though your room to go to the bathroom. It would have made more sense that they would have just added like a second bathroom.
I'm from Long Island. I been in Morristown Tennessee for 37 years. I have a house I been in for 23 years. I only pay $265 a month. I don't see how people can afford to live in New York.
Looks like that TV got pretty hot on the fireplace wall, those some serious heat marks.
Am I missing something? Where's the apartment smaller than a closet? I watch alot of these based on the title and then I never see what the title is referencing??
"Not a street view" (i.e. zero view).
I thought it was supposed to be smaller than a closet??
Thanks for weird apt **before getting sleep watch you're video have a great thursday😂😂😂😂😂so expensive apt
Cash is the breaking kid. He could make good business within a demolition company.😁
MJ!
"...there's a solid chance that this place is so big that you'll be broke after you buy all the Ikea furniture in the world to fill it up...". There's something about that place that makes it almost seem a sin to fill it with Ikea. Go south looking for antiques, preferably of the Art Deco variety...
I like this one nice 👌 👌
