I want the narrator to read me a bedtime story
ikr
Darren Clampitt The Killing Dream sounds good?
He sounded like Liam Neesan
i totally agree, I will pay him for reading me bedtime story as I am Insomniac:)
Same
This Assassin of the Rings game looks good.
lord of the assassin
They need to destroy the Ring of Eden and prevent the return of Juno.
hahahah nice XD
That probably the best "parody" name I've ever seen
***** Yeah! It's not important that Medal of Honor copied CoD straight out, since CoD 4 was good right?
It's not important that The Amazing Spider man game copied Arkham city so much because Arkham city was good right? RIGHT!?
funny how they completely changed Ratbag's story in the main game.
+John Campbell what he means is that ratbag is now a characther in the main story he is the only one who you cannot change his story. He directly progresses the main story.
DIEZOMBIES199 yea they changed ratbags whole story this isn't even the same game there's no trolls walking around atleast not on 360
Glen Thompson yes there are, the graugs are around
Nick Beaudry you shouldn't play this game on last gen, the last gen version is horrible and completely different.
Scissortongue welll... that's an actual lie
RIP Ratbag. He was turning his life around, even got his G.E.D
He left behind a wife and kids too with the nemesis system,
He is back!
Narrator: "In middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, you are Italian."
Me: So Italians made it to Middle Earth. Interesting.
Bro i luv u
Good Italian Rangers always patrolling the borders of Mordor. Ottimo lavoro ragazzi!
Talion.
It's talion his name is talion
You: Still using an old, lazy, tired out, meme comment from 2018 that makes you look like an idiot.
Everyone: What a loser.
"Ratbag is a unique character to this gameplay"
*Ratbag being a major character in the game*...
Lol
Yes, but still every orc is unique in his own right. Right?
When the actual game is better than gameplay trailer
Yea usually the other way round
One thing I wish was in this game and in SoW was the “jobs” feature mentioned with Ratbag. Imagine if certain Uruks did have specific positions in the chain of command and could be reliably found in certain locations. For example, slavers were under tighter guard, but could be reliably found in fortresses. Cooks would be the same, just in camps and fortresses. Hunters would be in isolated camps throughout the map and spies would be random, appearing anywhere at any time.
But that’s neither here nor there. Fantastic game and I’m still enjoying it, today.
@@JingleJangle256 You know, it is true that that didn't end up making much difference to gameplay, but I think there was a little bit of that. Cooks are reliably butchering meat for example, and "The Lookout" is the only captain I've ever seen standing in archer perches.
Assassinate, Sacrifice, Spy, and Terrorize?
Dude, I wanted those options in the main game.
Anthony Serocco ikr? well they still havem but the cinematic display in this trailer is sort of presentable than what we got after release...such as ratbag sneaking a hit or his face getting smashed by the warchief...or even that leap AOE talion did (a skill that was taken out of the main game) Assassinate - kill, Sacrifice - maybe the thing when you killem after branding... Spy - information gathering, Terrorize is like Deaththreat...
Mark Imon Good point.
Mark Imon I've been playing this game for awhile now, had a break for a few months but when I came back to it I told one of my officers to betray his war chief i was thinking i would have had to help him as normal but to my surprise my officer did say enough talking and stabbed him in the back.
+Anthony Serocco maybe when shadow of mordor 2 comes out maybe it will be a option
+animaTHOR THE TRUTH HAS BEEN SPOKEN!
i really like this! assassins creed got a bit boring to me and this is the refreshment!
Same
Is no one gonna talk about how scary celebrimbor looked?
Dynamicpenny 05
They should’ve kept the way he looked. Very creepy. The voice actor is quite bad here though
I Think they changed him into a more badass wraith(sometimes being scary doesnt mean he is good)now he is nkt scary but badass.specially his voice.god damn i still get chills with"You will OBEY!"
The Lich King
That’s exactly what I suggested, change the voice actor but keep the way Celebrimbor looks.
@@cjv8522 Well imo A ghostly elf face with badass voice is better than a demon with badass voice.diffrent oponions for sure😉
But for me knowing the backstory of Celebrimbor both from game and specially book and other games like War in the North its would not go well with me to see they made one of my favorite character look like a monster
I wish they made changing skins for Celebrimbor the way they did it with Talion in the first game. It would have been cool to see a different wraith mode for the Dark Ranger or Black Hand skin.
The nemesis system is one of the best mechanics in a videogame, wish i could see it in an open world game set in Star Wars playing as a bounty hunter. SoM was awesome but felt easy, could just take on every chief alone from the beginning without branding or brand the entire army from the start...
that's a good idea bro!
Nemesis system in a star wars game? EPIC!
Shark Bait Yes maybe there's a jedi who wants to take revenge cause you cut off his hand. You can convert him to the dark side and it would be easier if he's a low level.
Turn off the indicators and buy the bright lord dlc you will break your controller
GRemlinOnion Seems a good option.
WOAH! IT WASN'T DOWNGRADED! :O
Gehab upgraded actually
@@noammo7455 the second game is actually downgraded sadly
I still love coming back to this video. I loved both games (Shadow of War slightly more since it was basically an upgraded system, great story and more stuff to do) and still play them both quite often
Gehab im playing it rn on ps4 , it’s definitely downgraded
what the fuck ps4 graphics suck, try it on PC with ultra graphics and 1440p resolution
Batman's Creed: Mordor Souls
It looks like assassin creed, batman, and lord of the rings game all combined into one
***** COULDN'T BE BETTER
Looking at these mechanics, Monolith can easily make a Star Wars game. Talion's powers are similar to the Force.
Agreed. a 3rd person open world star wars game would be awesome
+matttnathan being a bounty hunter with the nemesis system would be dope
+_focks hell yea
They can make an Assassin's Creed game too.
But why would they? Star Wars is boring as fuck and sci fi. Oh look at me I'm the chosen one and I shoot lasers, woohohoho.
One of the best video games ever! It is still visually stunning even though the game is 8 years old.... Loved every minute of it... Shadow of War improved even further on the combat and nemesis system! Truly a masterpice
But no rain or night....
@@MultiSuperrene there was literally rain and night in the video and the guy said something about it
Boromir was wrong, this man simply walked into Mordor.
I don't understand all the hate coming from AC fan-boys/haters, It looks like a great game, sure it borrows a lot from AC, but what game doesn't borrow from a previous one? If AC got a bunch of things right, whats wrong with implementing them in a new game, plus, from what I've seen, it has its own innovations that you can't credit to AC.
It isn't a copy/pasted Assassins Creed, It's a unique game, after you play it, then complain about whats wrong with it, or how it's just an AC rip-off.
Besides, what self-respecting LOTR fan would complain about an open world RPG game with a fresh story, characters, & mechanics, because it borrows some stuff from a popular (very successful) game series?
It seems to be the very description of everything every LOTR fan has wanted since the inception of the movies(if you never read the books).
We already see that they got boss battles better than AC does most of the time(exceptions being Washington and the Legendary Ships).
TheOrpheus1999 truth.
All you have to do is tell them to look at thief and tenchu gameplay and then send them to an article about Ubisoft being sued for ripping the Assassins Creed story from an author. Shuts them up every time.
Total agree they haven't yet made a good LOTR RPG game sure it looks like AC gameplay but hey I loved those games (minus AC3) and can't wait to play
thank you
I love coming back to this video just because it's presentation is so damn good no nonsense, just to the point narration and gameplay. Classy.
I love this game, it's pretty addictive. The nemesis system is awesome, it makes the world feel a lot more alive. I'm so pleased that the ranks of the enemy get explored.
definitely like Assassin's Creed! but still looks perfect!
The Legend!
Why's everyone compare it to Assassins creed? I know all these comments are pre release but it is clearly Arkham inspired. Even the parkour is far more Arkham than Assassins creed
More like batman: arkham games
I needed a hit of nostalgia....
Wish they would make a game of LOTR where you can travel through middle earth to all the kingdoms with different missions
Yes !
There was a game called War in the North which came out quite a few years ago. It was set during The Hobbit and you played as either a Human-Ranger, Dwarf-Warrior, or Elven-Mage. It wasn't such a good game. Just a simple action, hack/slash. But it was pretty cool seeing their idea of Middle Earth based off the Lord of the Rings films instead of The Hobbit films which came out after.
It was set during The Lord of the Rings, not during the Hobbit.
Che Hristov No it wasn't. There's a part where you're in Rivendell and you get to meet all the dwarves from The Hobbit currently going on their adventure.
Dwalin II They do...it's called Lord of the Rings Online. It's an MMORPG, and you can't play it on PS4. Great game though.
6 Years and still feels the same ♥
I thought the narrator said "In Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor you are Italian"
I just hope this game will have some casual roaming, so you can see some friendly faces, instead of just butchering everything you see.
Don't worry, just looking at it, it screams "casual".
the narrator sounds like Liam Neeson
An American Liam Nesson, I thought this too.
Sounds like a nice voice.
Yeah
Trueee
He sounds like Holt McCallany. He played Bill Trench in Mindhunter. Also The Mechanic in Fight Club
10 years later it's one of my favorite games.
Ryse creed IV: Mordor Asylum
lmao
Assassins Creed wishes it was this beast
It is beast, if you like stealth.
One can still play it stealthily. I do. It's more fun when you enforce a few rules on yourself.
tremonster1 okay no this is like assassin creed mixed with lord of the rings this game is gonna be the shit i swear watch this game be the best ;)
Playing this again after so mamy years and it's still really good.
I just got the game through Amazon prime I’m excited to try it 😁
@@InFinZible me 2 i got shadow of war as well!! How do u like them?
@@peterc504 Ngl I deleted it pretty quick lol not really my style and I feel like it’s not worth the grind it’s probably gonna be
@@InFinZible ouch.. Yeah the grindy stuff sucks!
@@LuLingqi101 I get Amazon prime free with my phone service 🤷♂️ ima take advantage of it
Wow. I almost forgot Celebrimbor looked like that in the Beta. I wish that was a skin you could change into.
he looked way more scarier in my opinion they shoulda kept that skin
This game looks epic! A perfect combination of the parkour from Assassin's Creed, traditional LoTR fighting, and something new with this nemesis system. I love it.
All climbing is not Assassin's creed parkour in this case it is not as good as that, it has Batman Arkham fighting and yes the nemesis system is one of the greatest things to ever be made
@@Fridge_Fiend dude, I commented this eight full years ago. The game wasn't even out yet. I was just reacting to the trailer. Of course I know NOW what the game plays like. What is the point of you coming here and replying this?
@@AuthorWorldbuilder what u think about game rn?
@@ilija7113 I never played it, but it seems to have gotten rave reviews 8 years ago.
I find the recurring enemies idea and the ability to sow dissent among your foes from a grander viewpoint is amazing. Definitely cool.
I remember this back in the day, the hype was real
Great fighting with expanding abilities, very fun game and 2 nice maps. Here's hoping a possible follow up opens the maps into one giant, seamless land of Mordor. Taking over other Orcs is a cool innovation, though it would be nice if they followed you when commanded all over the map. This captures the mood of the films well also.
It borrows a lot from Assassins Creed but it still looks pretty damn good, hopefully it's the Lord of the rings game I've been waiting for.
So then does DayZ borrow a lot for Resident evil? Does Minecraft borrow a lot from infiniminer?
darkshark6gamer well yeah loads of games borrow stuff but it clearly looks a lot like assassins creed, the climbing mechanics look identical but there's no need to get defensive, i didn't criticize it.
Ashbfc Funny how some people get so defensive !) This actually looks pretty cool!!!
darkshark6gamer He's right though. Dosn't take a scientist to figure out that the first part of the video was pretty much Assassins Creed in LOTR, but that is not a bad thing. It could actually be a pretty cool and refreshing thing to the franchise.
wow, this changed quite a bit, would love to play this version
SniperSpy10 yeah the nemesis system looks alot better than it was in the final game
Same
this is like assassins creed, star wars, and skyrim combined
Or you know... Lord of the Rings?
oh ya lol
u forgot the Witcher, also the two sword at the same way at his back and the combat is the same like in Batman
Um the Arkham games and Assasin's Creed have a simillar combat , based more on vounter attacks and fluidity than attacking and retreating
H_man777 no it's like Batman Arkham and LoTR combined only!
Shadow of Assassin's Creed
+999a0s Shadow of Assassin's Knight
shadow of the price of the creed
Shadow of Arkham's Creed
+Tony Bamanaboli HahHahahaha the nickname XD
Hitman of Mordor
Lord of the assassins... Assassins creed.. I dont even care, this game looks fucking awesome
Yuka what about shadow of war ?
Haters;; because no one can enjoy anything unless it's completely new, but oh wait no, because if it's too new they hate it for not being like something they're already played. People can't just have fun and play a game anymore. *sigh*
you are a little bich and only that
nikos hliopoulos What? Okay.
We hate it because devs are milking 5 year old concepts. yes they were good concepts, but why the same old shit? There are small little innnovations here and there that can be explored & inculcated but NOOOO DEV ARE SO FRIGGIN LAZY. *For eg. The map system in The Division*. Now thats friggin awesome...how did the devs come up with that? Well, THEY SIMPLY REFUSED TO RECYCLE/COPY-PASTE old concepts..
Oh and the biggest hate comes from the LOTR fanbase because the storyline has been completely fcked around in this game. Why didnt they simply make a fresh new game with its own lore? oh wait...they want to milk the LOTR franchise..
Just because it copies good concepts from good games, it doesnt make it a good game.
Mike Messiah I never said is was good, in fact I agree and most of the things you said. Aside from the lazy part, as a lot of things aren't even left to the devs, and more up to what ever company controls their work.. My issue is more with the idiots that sit and do NOTHING but complain. Instead of just, you know.. not playing the game. Or even just avoiding it. Not that hard just only play the games that you enjoy. No one is forcing anyone to play any game they don't want to, right? They waste time and energy hating on it. Seems pretty pointless to me.
TheLulzbatRises Huh? k.
The strongest captain I know is a Legendary Power 20 poison clubbed captain.
He constantly comes after me with no backup and one shots me, then just leaves me alive saying I'm too weak.
And he's just got claimed as Ratbag's bodyguard.
Please give middle earth 3!!! Please!! This series is so unique. The concept of making your own army is amazing.
it is confirmed
@@Milda47 really? Can you please tell me the name or any news about it?
@@shekhar110 google middle earth 3. Nothing special just confirmation. It will be reveal on E3 I guess.
i have a feeling the same guys who whine about this being an "stupid assassin's creed rip-off" complain on new assassin's creed videos saying "they're milking the franchise, just let it die"
If they are, I'm pretty sure that just means they're sick of seeing Assassin's Creed, which is a completely understandable point of view.
***** I don't think thats why. I was a bit assassins creed fan during the first game and the ones that followed ezio but the last two assassins creed games have been terrible and heading in the wrong direction. There is no more choice in the game and it's not even about assassinating people anymore; it's more like kill 100000 guys as well as one important character somewhere along the way but make sure to kill him without touching the water...etc. Assassins creed either needs to stop putting a game out every year and take time to develop and go back to its roots or stop making terrible games and try something new.
Kevin Thompson
That's kinda what I was implying. People don't get sick of seeing too many of a *good* game, and AC's decline in quality is pretty apparent.
So interesting to see this pre-release version of the game. Very different!
+bkcpisme Well that's e3, something that looks good will look different when it come out.
+bkcpisme And kinda better to be honest (execpt the grafics) :(why didnt they realease it like this !!! ;(
+JADYV Games look always better when shown in E3
Yeah you´re right :/
This looks cool, but I'm still waiting for a proper, TES-like RPG game from LoTR franchise!
I agree. When I first saw the trailer, I was excited until I found out that we only get to play a ranger. I want to play an elf or a wizard or a dwarf.
Well there is the MMO, Lord of the Rings Online.
Garen Fleener
MMOs are just not my kind of games. I tried it, but I didn't feel immersed at all, the world wasn't real enough.
They were making a 'proper' RPG LoTR game a few years ago called 'The White Council' I think, but they scrapped it. Shame, because we need an amazing RPG for this franchise. But I can't see this ever happening as the world they would have to create will just be FAR too big. Hence LoTRO is probably 1 of the largest game worlds ever created and we aren't no where near reaching Mount Doom or the Black Gate yet. It's gonna be some years before they release the full story.
There was LOTR Third Age, had that on gamecube, turn based rpg, fun as shit, slightly difficult as well later on.
Donno why but this game gives me AC kinda feeling
+Nilay Modak It's like AC but with better combat and in middle-earth
+Talos Stormcrown It's a mix of both AC Stealth and Arkham combat
Viv Varghese Pretty much.
Talos Stormcrown The weird thing is, they all use different engines, AC, Arkham, and Shadow, yet they're so similar. I knew Shadow and Arkham would because they have the same studio and publisher though not developer, but I didn't think Shadow would be so similar to AC with it's parkour and stealth running on rooftops and stuff.
Viv Varghese Interesting, I didn't know that.
This video made me buy it years ago
why couldn't they the alpha appearance of celebrimbor he actually looks more terrifying, i mean yeah the alpha build still had some work be he would have looked fantastic in the final version
who's watching this 2016?
Not me..
I remember watching this for the first time back in 2014. Can't believe how far they have come.
That wraith power is so fucking cool.
Not gonna lie, thought all hope was lost after War in the North. This, however derivative, looks awesome :)
Should have won game of the year. I can't believe Dragon Age won. I have never played a game like this. It's too unique, especially with it's nemesis system.
This game is great. But it is not Dragon Age great.
its to much like assasins creed and a way in my opinion
skwisgaar
Exactly :D!!!!
The story of Shadow of mordor was weak compared to Dragon ages story
skwisgaar I hated Inquisition. Such a disappointment. Expecting a fantastic rpg, all I got was an single-player mmo with awful combat and tactical view. And it was a shit PC port on top of that. EA has officially taken over Bioware. Mass Effect 4 has no hope now.
I just looked this up now upon discovering that Ratbag, was actually just some random enemy NPC Orc from the demo that people freaking loved for some reason.
I hope he comes back for the sequel. Remember in fiction when people die off screen they usually come back.
He does come back in the sequel
Centrifugal force created by Tolkien spinning in his grave should be enough to give us energy for centuries to come.
***** It was a funny joke. Why don't YOU shut up, lol. The smell of your butt-hurt is nauseating.
"In Middleearth: Shadow of Mordor you are Italian"?
Ezio? is that you?
3:18 this is legit terrifying
Right?! I wish they kept Celebrimbor like that, he looked awesome!
There's a reason they changed him I guess
This game looks amazing, not being talked about enough, can't wait for release!
did anyone else notice that talion completely forgot to thank the orcs for patiently waiting while the cutscenes introduced ratbag and orthog?
...because henchmen would never wait to see what their master's orders actually are? Such as: "Capture him." instead of "Kill him." for example?
would the orcs really think they could hold this guy in a prison? besides, i think attack at the very least would be priority one. but don't get me wrong, you do have a good point.
WafflingMean44 You make a good point too. I now have to wonder if henchmen following a certain leader can be put over the edge by their horrible safety record and basically mutiny or quit. Maybe the effect even going so far as to make it near impossible for the leader to even hire new henches. lol
It's got that anime logic
Assassins Creed: Lord of The Rings Edition
Interesting to see how much of this made it in to the final game. Some different directions since this was posted last January. Turned out amazing.
Bro this was 8 years ago sad🥲
people comparing this to assassins creed act like AC was the only game to implement parkour-esque movement....
No, they're comparing it because this game copies the movements directly.
Ruairoquai they just need to alter the movements enough so it isn't too much like AC and make that wraith world vision less like eagle vision and is should be ok. or at least the stuff shown in this walkthrough will be ok, who knows whats in the rest of the game.
If you'd pay attention to how AC parkour looks, you'd know how similar it is to this.
***** if you read my comment you'd see that I didnt say it had parkour. I said it had parkour-esque movement. Meaning exactly what it says....
No, the people comparing this to AC is the people who can see its a exact copy (movement wise) of AC. Hell, most elements looke like a copy of AC. And about "no generic encounters" and "new encounters every pt". Well see, if thats true then this game is not a straight up copy of AC, but at the looks of the video, its a pure copy of AC with Lotr skin.
Not a "rift is a wow clone" clone, but a "ms pacman is a pacman clone" clone
Hey guys. This game is on sale for $10 this black friday on Steam :)
just bought it! can't wait to try it out
have fun!
Judson Bonneville big file to dl. in a few hours... :D
it's $4 on G2A
Thanks Judson
DUDE... the commentator has an incredible voice that is fluid, smooth and articulate to a "t". I could listen to him narrate a story about my shit fighting someone else's shit...
is it just me or Celebrimbor looked wayyyy more intimidating than he did in the released version
Yes most def I kinda liked him better that way too
..so if the enemies etc are unique to every gameplay and every gamer created event somehow influences the enemy character can somebody explain how does the dialogues( voice acting) in this game function ? If most situations are unique how can intelligent dialogues be created? Or may be they are just extremely vague lines ( so that they dont need a pretex) which continuously get recycled . ...It would be interesting to know thats all
chiruscda
Well friend what you wrote do make sense and I guess thats how the game functions ...The idea came to my mind because the narrator in this video , perhaps unintentionally, paints an incorrect picture of the game or maybe I interpreted him wrongly.Anyway thanks a lot for taking time to reply.
Galavya41 assassins creed should take some tips from the nemesis system.
Holy fuck they even ripped off the eagle vision
Well yea... do you expect good innovation to never be used?
Well not exactly. This guy used to to teleport around and stuff as well.
You people are always so quick to judge, did you guys never want a combination of your favorite games so it is one (hope it will be) epic game? People always whine about video game makers not using something good about one game and another and combining it. When they do people like you begin saying they "rip off" something. Who even says AC is the first game with the such called eagle vision. With all due respect sir, get your facts straight and think before you post something.
Even the ropes look the same as the ropes in ac2 and the combat looks like brotherhood
***** You got a point on it looking similar. But here. Do you like AC? Do you like Lord of the rings? If you do then stfu and get it :)
I like how people are saying that the UI and stuff looks bad in Middle Earth Shadow of War, I usually just link them to this and then the see for themselves how much the game has improved.
Damn this game was awesome i hope they make shadow of mordor 2
that would be sick.
Basically an updated, mostly offline Lord of the Rings Online? Cause I'm game for that!

Jesus has spoken LOL
Aniket Maurya news flash, the new game will be released in august 2017, its called middle earth shadow of war.
Assassins creed with batman fighting in a lord of the rings world?
I can see that working pretty well. Looks great :D. Cant see it been anywhere near as good on the xbox360 though
Dishonored Witcher: Assassins of Asylum
i think its more like Witcher Creed: Assassins of Asylum
My god the voice acting in this is stunning... I just picked the game up to get caught up with SoW cause it looked sick as hell but now seeing this I'm actually exited to play this too
6:06 god damn dawg!! That was savage asf!!
LOTR + AC = Epic
Although only the Parkour and some of the combat (AC didn't invent the counter system or hacking and slashing) so basically only the parkour and the ariel takedown.
Everything from the countless ways to take down your enemies from the nemises system and etc is completely new and refreshing.
Shadow of Mordor, you are my most hyped game of the year. Please be awesome!
Now lets give a name to this AC+LOTR mix!
*Lord of the creed*
*Brotherhood*
because it sounded better in my head. Any other ideas?

6:56 Orc in the background: "We're on the *same side* >:("
Generic AC-like "parkour" system? Check.
Generic "press block to win" combat with QTE all over it? Check.
Generic "focus vision"/"night vision"/"wright vision" so the devs can highlight what's important to even the dumbest of idiots? Check.
"8x CRITICAL HIT YOU'RE SO AWESOME" popups? Check.
Experience bar added for no reason? Fucking check.
Completely raping the book's lore and storyline? Obvious check.
Bunch of casuals in the comments denying that it's pure crap and having buyer's remorse before even buying the god damn game? Next-gen check.
It's a style of game, jackass, Saint's Row took stuff from GTA, but it's a style of gang games, this is a kind of Assasin game, don't cry, don't like the game then don't buy it
Koza The main selling point seems to be that there are many ways to handle objectives. If the game has a unique kind of history backbone and is really as evolving as it seems to be, then I would definitely say that it could be a pretty interesting experience. I loved the AC games so to have one with this kind of "living" social order system would be really interesting. Not saying I'm going to look forward to getting it and preordering and that shit, that right is reserved for PC Dark Souls 2, but i could see the appeal that this game has. Plus who can't like the LotR universe, I don't think that a spin off using the universe should offend anyone who really loves it.
*****
There's nothing unique about choices and consequences. They are nice, but it doesn't matter when the rest of the game is crap.
Yes, the story in the game is offensive to anyone that likes LotR - not only it rapes the lore, it seems that it's written by a 13-year old. I don't see how it can appeal to anyone above that age, unless they're seriously mentally handicapped.
Koza It's an opinion dude. People who have different opinions then you are "seriously mentally handicapped?" Only someone so immature can have your viewpoint. Seeing as how you're that kind of person, it's no use trying to reason with you. Have a good day sir. Or kid? Honestly hard to tell which.
Koza I'm not saying it's not an obvious rip off. I'm aware of that. I'm saying I'm intrigued by it because it's takes things from games I already enjoy, and puts it in a setting I also enjoy. I apologise for liking different games than you. Nor do I understand people like you. Why do you feel the need to belittle others because they might enjoy something you don't? Also, it's an opinion, and don't try to say I don't know what that is. Sure you don't like the game for above reasons and I'm fine with that. The problems you listed are not problems for me, and therefore I can assume it might be interesting, and maybe even fun. Go troll elsewhere. If you don't like the looks of a game because you feel it's taken ideas from other games that's fine, but don't call other people "mentally handicapped" because they don't have a problem with that. Grow up man, there's no need to be so rude to complete strangers.
bing a batman and Assassins creed fan i am realy exited for this
they need to make more lord of the Rings games like this. this by far was the best lord of the rings game that we needed.
As someone who *adores* LotR and basically studies it as legitimate mythos (there's so much info!) I love and appreciate this and its sequel. Wonderful!
It looks like a mix of the AC series and Batman series, and since it's based on a storyline which didn't happen, I'm sure many fans of the Hobbit films will enjoy it.
True, they're all quite similar anyway,
Robert Summers Wait, what? The hobbit movies are just like the books so far, besides the new elf lady they introduced so it wouldn't be a 'sausage fest.' i Don't remember legolas being in the book either, but the hobbit series of films has stayed mostly true to it. Also, The Hobbit books spawned the lotr series, and are more 'canon' that lotr, since it started the whole fight for the 1 ring. Unless i'm remembering my childhood wrong for this book, i'm pretty sure the story-line in the hobbit films hold true.
Where did sausage fest come from? I didn't say anything about that. Tauriel wasn't in it, Legals wasn't in it, the white orc wasn't in it, from what I understand, they've completely ruined the Beornings, there was no fight of giant rock monsters, Rhadaghast was disappointing and the necromancer was crap. you're saying Hobbit books? There was only one Hobbit book.
See, why I said if I remember my childhood right. You prob as bly know it more than I do, but I wa s just trying to defend something I like, my bad.
Nothing wrong with that, I was also doing the same, I just feel Peter Jackson is doing this more for money than to bring people enjoyment.
Normally I would discourage a dev from ripping idea straight out of other games. But it actually worked very well for sleeping dogs, and considering how poor many LOTR games are having something that is lacking creativity but high in quality is probably the best thing for the game.
STOOOP IT RON
this was my favorite game of all time
This must of been so badass back in the day! If only they couldve seen what the sequel became!
It was and still is badass not totally like the game we got but still great
This was revolutionary indeed. Still my favorite series in the games. Even with it's certain conflicts in Tolkien Lore
Assassins creed mod?
watched three trailers and pre ordered it, ive been waiting for a lotr game like this for years
This game was LIT 6 years ago and still is...
Looks promising if the Nemesis system is all its cracked up to be hopefully it will better than the slightly hit and miss War in the north. While it seems to take a lot from Assassins Creed and the Arkham games they are both awesome so hopefully combining that with LOTR will be a perfect combination.
of course nobodies gonna talk about how broken the subtitles are completely broken 2:08
Kinda like your grammar

That is an amazing looking game I have to admit that the gameplay is so beautiful and the concept of the game is so incredibley unique. I like every single part of it.
Why is this recommended to me 8 years later after I’ve played both games multiple times?
Because it's one of the best games
My only complaint about this game is that the whole main campaign felt like a giant tutorial. Plus the end fight was kinda crappy. Still a great game though.
Rayan Rahal how the FUCK is it a great game if u just summed up ur complain to be entire game?
dicker9 the story missions suck, the open world nemesis system combined is indeed incredibly good and it can save the whole game
@@JuanZiAmaya the story missions were basically just the exact same missions as going for a captain. By the time u learn about riding a caragor, you assume its still the beginning of the game, but u only have time to use the caragor like once or twice before u beat the entire game.
dicker9 I believe the self freedom in the open world, trying to figure things out on your own is awesome but they don’t match at all with the story missions. But I enjoyed the nemesis system too much, just not the scripted missions
@@JuanZiAmaya Yeah they failed to implement the Nemesis System's complexity to complement the Main Story.
looks like same combat system as Assassins Creed and the Arkham series. Can anyone confirm this? Looks great besides that. I love that they care about continuity and are steering away from industry norm of only a few character models for an entire game.
Anyone else think it’s weird that rat bag was supposed to be a regular randomly generated captain that you killed?
He became popular with the devs I think
Amazing invention of the Nemesis system. Loved it in SOM and SOW, I wish they made more games with it. I don't care if it was a Tom Bombadil singsong game, I just need more Nemesis system in games.
They're making a Wonder Woman game with the nemesis system now that Warner Bro's has the rights to it. Not really sure how it'll work with her but very hyped to see it coming back
But we want a sow sequel....
