Great video again, just keep up this PPM and youll be the first to beat 30 minutes at Worlds! 😁
Thanks! High expectations, but that’s good!
Are you coming any of the competitions I mentioned in the video? :)
I'll come say hi at Worlds 🙂
I'm not in Europe, so not likely to make it to any of those competitions. I'll catch livestreams if they plan on doing that, like at Worlds. What was the song you mentioned when you started the puzzle?
I will ask if they are planning to have live streams. That would be great!
The ”song” is literally the music that is in the background of my video. I use iMovie for editing and this on is basically the only ”audio”/music clip I use because they only have like six options 😅 So it’s stuck in my head already when filming…
Ah, I see. I thought you maybe had a go-to playlist you listened to while speed puzzling, or something like that. 😂
@@chillpuzzle2791 Haha I wish. I get distracted very easily so there is no chance for me listening music at the same time. Maybe an audio repeating ”faster faster faster” could work 🤣🤣🤣 that would be annoying though.
@@puzzlewithemilia Haha!
Emilia, i think you did the math wrong. One Minute has 60 seconds, makes 8:47 min = 527 sec. 527 divided by 150 equals 3.593333 ppm. , right? Whichis still great, Alejandro did 100 pieces in about 5:40 min. with Karen. You are close 😮😅 - Don’t worry, i do a lot of math mistakes, too.
Hi! That’s not right. For PPM (Pieces for Minute) you have to divide the piece count with minutes. Now you divided seconds with piece count. If you want to count it with seconds, you can, but you have do it the other way around and divide piece count with seconds AND then also multiply with 60 (to make you seconds to match minutes again as the measure is PPM). That’s ≈ 17.
8.47 mins = 527 secs
PPM = Pieces / Minute
150pcs / 527secs ≈ 0.28 PPS
PPS = Pieces / Second
PPS to PPM = PPS x 60
0.28 x 60 ≈ 17
Do you need a light under the microwave above the counter. Looks like a lot of shadows on puzzle. I got a three light floor lamp for lots of light on puzzle. Especially darker peices. Also a lighted magnifying glass as my eyes are getting old.
Your chatter is fun.
Thanks! And no cursing by accident this time. 😁
And nope. I don’t have any light there. But I do puzzle mainly during the time there is sunlight (literally just couple hours here). We have big window walls.
I must say that I know almost nothing about lighting with puzzles. I’m also a bit sensitive to light so might be the reason why I haven’t really put any thought into it. I should always use my glasses though but I even forget that half of the time…
Good luck in Sweden! 🎉🧩☺️
Thank you! 😃
are you going to do the Battle of the CZcams Puzzlers?
I wasn’t invited as a CZcamsr but I guess they have some kind of Google form that everyone can fill(?). So I will definitely do that!
