Look out for another vid on about the spots! But the closer you can get to the Bay Area or ocean the better. But if you do go down that far check the regulations. But freeport or paintersville area is good place to start. Because right now it might be a little slow because it’s still early in the season. Thanks for watching!

Hey brotha, just noticed that in the intro you were using a Abu Garcia Vegeance casting rod, made me wonder, can it withhold a salmon? This is going to be my first year salmon fishing and I was thinking about picking up that rod. Lmk, thanks brotha!
Alex Thao yup it can. If you look at my other salmon vids. You’ll see that’s all I use. But any medium to medium heavy rod should be just perfect. Thanks bro!

Alex Thao get a lamiglas or if you want a cheap rod get a okuma celilo landed like 40 salmon on the okuma rod last year but if you want a rod that will last more than 4 year for sure lamiglas
Is this the only spot in the bay where you can catch these beast on shore?
Do the hooks on the lures and jerk bait have to be barbless?
In the freeport area no. Other places I’m not sure.

I think you can catch them on beads and eggs but I don’t know too much about. I only use lures. But I’m sure those will work too. Thanks for watching
Can I fish for Striped Bass in July? If so What can I use and what time of day? I would love to fight a striped bass. Thanks for your reply in advance.
Usually in July it slows down. But you can still catch them. But they most likely not be keepers. They’ll be like 10-16 inches. Because most of the big ones have moved back to the ocean. But if you still want to catch them you can use sardines as bait m. And check out my other vid if you need help rigging that. But yeah use that and go in the morning or late evening into dark. And go the the sandy areas. You won’t get snagged as much. Hoped this helped!

Probably not the best right now but in the next few months it should pick up.

No I don’t fish the American River so I don’t know. I’ll have to explore and do a vid on that.
