Lol thanks!
Great information, I didn't know a lot about the Shoals etc and been fishing in and around sac for 30 years. Luckily you didn't mention a few of my secret fishing spots.
Finally someone truly wanna help other fishermen in enjoying and having success in fishing. Thx! Sunrise and Harrington on American River are some good spot for shads.
Yup I just wanna help you guys!
Thanks
Glad I could help:)
Have you tried the sunrises bridges yet

Thanks for sharing Vincent! Searching CZcams 99% of the videos only showing fisherman pulling in fish with no locations. I'm new to the area and fishing this will get me started!
Would very much appreciate a part 2. Thanks for all the tips!
Ive heard of a bunch of these places but bro the detail you put into sharing success with everyone.. MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Hopefully one day we can link up bro!
Wow dude thank you so much for posting this, I’m a bit anti social, and new to the Sacramento area. I’m from Redding and knew all sorts of spots up there, but down here this is all new, and I hadn’t a clue where to go. Thank you brother.
I really appreciate the information that shared here it was very informative and sounded sincere. I don’t get to fish as often as I would like to and therefore I don’t like waisting my time when I do. Keep up he good work and continue growing your following.
I love u man! I didn’t know Jack shit about where to go. I thought fish went extinct. See you out there and thanks for this video!!
Thank you! I'm completely new to fishing and basically trying to learn everything from youtube as my main source. Going to try fishing around the sac metro area this year.

Vincent’s Fishing - another Wow! for you, Vincent. Much appreciated. New to the area. Should help immensely. Hey, any experience fishing where Elverta crossing and Sacramento River, Father River and Sacramento area.
mike eaglesen nope I’ve not fish that area
Cool bro, ur the man of all men
Thank you SIR!!!
Caleb Waters glad I could help :)
You're the man
Thank you! 🙌🏾
Do a part 2 it would be very useful and appreciated
Just moved to Sac. Thank you my guy!
Thanks friend!!
Props to you for showing. Not a lot of people will share locations on these rivers
Thank you for this video, i just started fish and im having a hard time finding places to fish haha
Great video man could you make one like this for butte county showing all the best fishing spots
Just located your site. A very informative and detailed video. What is the best months to fish for stripers? What is a good area for new fishers to try?
Thanks i always plan to come fish there but dont know where to fish because im not from sac thanks again brother.
No problem bro glad I could help!
@@vinc8ntl8r thanks again not sure when i well be out there.
Awesome video Vincent appreciate the good work you're doing. Do you mostly stick to the Sacramento side? Any tips on good spots on the lower American? I've hit a few different places and haven't seen much.
eeshew thanks! And yeah I stick mostly with the sac river. But I’ll have to explore the American River and do a vid on that. Thanks for watching!
GREAT video. Heading to the Clarksberg area today, is now a good time to fish the river? Not sure when the stripers run up that way.
GSDubz right now it’s pretty slow for Stripers. I say wait until spring that’s when they run to spawn. Check my vid on how to catch stripers that’ll help. Thanks for watching
Hey man awesome video! I’m headed to sac 4th of July weekend for some fishing. Any lures you would recommend? What’s best biting around that time?
I’m thinking you should use bait instead but if you want to throw lures throw a small to medium swimbait. Or a jerkbait. If your using bait use sardines. And stripers are biting best right now. Goodluck!
Do it! Great vid!
Just a heads up on the Haycock shoals pump, it’s too rocky to sink bait. I even snagged my swim bait 😭
Nice video man!
Fishing with Alex Saeteurn thanks! 😁I love your videos too bro! Good luck out there 🎣
Vincent’s Fishing lol thanks. I’m sure we’ll meet up sooner or later! GL to you too
Thanks for the informative video. I just moved to area and this is exactly what I need. I'm also interested in catching Crappie and Smallies so if you have any info on where I can relax and catch a few of those as well, let me know. Thanks again and tight lines!
Crappies are hard to find here in sac you’ll have to go to the lakes like lake berryessa and Camache. But small mouths are plentiful in the sac river. Lake berryessa and the other lakes also have smallmouth. Thanks for watching
I’m surprised I never met you in all those areas.. lol Good luck yall
This man deserves so much creddit. Thank you man!!!
Any recommendations for beginner spots? not fishing for anything in particular, just want a nice relaxing place to fish all day where i actually have a chance to catch something. Don't care what.
Located near Sac state area. Got a few spots down here, but it is soooo shallow, and is not the type of fishing I am looking for.
I’m not sure about the sac state area because that looks like the America river but when I know some spots Ill update ya!
@@vinc8ntl8r Thanks man! I see about 15 fisherman every evening and morning (most get like 5 fish per). Believe they are getting shad right now? if you ever need a good spot for those, I guess that's my suggestion lol. Kinda near paradise beach, but more to the right as if you're going towards sac state.
But those dudes are going like knee deep in the rapids, and I am not very sure i'd like to do that lol.
Yeah they are probably going for Shad but yeah it’s dangerous going knee deep in those rapids. Tight lines bro
Thanks for sharing :) I just subscribed.
Thanks so much for this ! My dad and I have never fished in Sacramento and wanted to go after some striper. Going to head out this morning to one of your destinations. I Really appreciate you !
Is there a part two to this ?
Nice job
Thanks 😊
Thanks buddy for share
Duy Tran glad I could help
Vincent’s Fishing tomorrow, we go american river fishing for shad, striper...first time i come there.
Goodluck
Subbed. Thanks bro.
I'll be biking to these places. Will let you know what's up.
By the way, early morning and early evening are the best times in general, correct for our area?
Hyder Noori nice Goodluck! But yeah early morning and early evening is great too. Fish on 🎣
Bro can you do a part 2 tor closer spots to the bay like Antioch and Pittsburg?
Thank you and the run like which month?
I love this info, I just need to find kid friendly areas any advice new to area? Thanks
Thank you for the info. I'm new to Sacramento fishing. I have a fishing kayak. How is the current on the American River side of Discovery park?
I’m glad I could help! But I’m not sure how the current is because it depends on what tide it is or water level but only one way to find out!
Your altruism is rare....thanks for sharing
Awesome, Vincenzo! Awesome! New to the area. It should help me immensely. Hey, any experience fishing near Elverta and Garden Hwy / Feather River?
Haven’t fished that area but heard it’s good
Thats called Verona. Thats place is hot when the fish runs.... all exposed sandbars.. Hella people there, be carefull not to piss people off.lol
If you decide to fish at Discovery, I highly recommend you catch and release. High levels of E Coli due to downtown forcing the homeless out now they're in the levee using the river as a bathroom along with needles and what not found along the river. All the other spots are dope tho you put me on a few i'll have to check out.
Oh Ok thanks for letting us know! 👍🏼
Man you are my hero lmao
By chance do you have any good bait recommendation for fishing in the sac river?
Jack Ludwig glad I could help! Sardines are overall for price, quantity, and ability to catch anything I think that’s the best. But pile worms and blood worms are good for stripers but more expensive. Check out my other videos as well I explain about the baits. Hope this helps
Thanks...man
drlemon tea826 glad I could help :)
Thank you
Glad I can help 😁
Hey bro, do you know any good spots to fish for stripe bass on the American River?
I don’t know much about the American River and the best spots for stripers. Because I fish mostly the sac river. Sorry bro. But when I do I’ll update you. 👍🏼
Super helpful! Is there any difference fishing the American vs Sac river for Stripers? Live in Folsom.
I would say there really is no difference. But that the American River is more shallower. And has a lot bigger stripers that hang in the American River. (Like 30+ inchers) but yeah thats the only difference. Glad I could help! Goodluck 🎣
Thanks, I was literally just looking at google maps satellite view to find a spot hours before this video. We are going to try sardines. Any suggestions for lures if we want to throw some?
Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!, and could you share some spots for catfish fishing? I have been a spot near sac airport, the catfish I caught were not big enough 😂😂😂,I would like to catch some bigger, other fish is fine.
Thanks bro. How bout locating all the best boat launch as well.
kambo209 glad I could help. Yeah I might have to do a video on that.
Do you have a spot to recommend for bluegills ? I want to take my nephew fishing for the first time
Dude, theres a park on the otherside of the Divorce Courthouse on Power Inn, hit that pond up.lol
Thamk you from Fresno
Thank you so much!!! Got into jerk bait fishing so gonna try this out
Glad I can help!
Where is a good spot to bank fish and fly fish. Going this weekend and my buddy wants to fly fish. Any tips
scubatron 408 I’m not sure on fly fishing. But I think you can fly fish on the American river for trout and steel head. Or you can go into the upper sac river and there are some trout there. Sorry when I find some spots I’ll update ya 👍🏼
Where is the best spot to launch a kayak? I had my first job in West Sacramento 38 years ago, but did not fish because too busy working. Retired now and would like to come back and try some fishing.
Ronald McDonald I’m not too sure but any boat ramps. Search on google maps and search up “boat ramps” or “boat launch”. Or where ever you find sandy areas is another good spot.
Great video just moved to west sac. I fished discovery park no luck is there a season when the sripers, sturgeon in that area
For stripers wait until spring time. And for sturgeon it should be biting from now until April. Goodluck!
@@vinc8ntl8r thanks
Glad I can help :)
Thanks bro... Now, I know where to go fishing...???
Tik Hang yup!
Vicent, I am from Woodland like 15 minutes away from Sac International Airport. Do you know by any chance there are good fishing spots along this part of Sacramento river or are there any fish in these part of the Sacramento river?
Dude. Same. I’ve never a stripper in the sac river and been living here 5 years lol. I used to fish the California acqueduct down south.
Just wondering but how do you get up cause isn’t the levee closed for construction cause idk how to get up to 5:52 .
Thanks!
There is a parking space there. Where you see the piles of gravel. And you can’t miss it. Sometimes you’ll see cars already parked there. Then up walk up and walk to the right. Until you see the wall and then walk down the levee. But I haven’t been there for a while. So if it’s closed just wait for them to be done with construction. Thanks for watching :)
It's been sometime since I fished the Sacramento but how is the catfishingalong the banks? I'd like to dunk some bait with a brewski and a lawn chair pulled up next to the river
ED Glass I don’t go much for catfish. But i think during nighttime the catfish are more active. Goodluck 👍🏼
Thank you so much! Do you happen to know any spots along the American River? Much appreciated!!!
Sadly no. I mostly fish the Sacramento River. But if I do get some spots I’ll update ya 👍🏼
@@vinc8ntl8r Thanks for replying and I'm loving your great videos!

J M sorry no. But I’ll have to explore that area. Thanks for watching
Great video. Be careful of the homeless and the criminals now, watch where you leave your vehicle.
Right on Not alot people help out fella fisherman👍✊
Yup I’m here just to help you guys! Tight lines!
I'm going to be going to Joe's crab shack tomorrow. I wanted to try some fishing. Can you please tell me a spot to go near Joe's shack. I'm from Reno
I’m not sure about the spots around that area. But check out my other video bank fishing spots on the Sacramento River I show some spots. Tight lines bro
Miller Park and Discovery Park aint too far from there. Only like 2miles or even less
