- Also known as "Into Little America", this film shows Admiral Richard E. Byrd's second expedition to the South Pole. Paramount Pictures sent two cameramen along to film this expedition, and appears to have liberally re-created certain aspects of the journey (as the set pieces at the start of the film demonstrate). Ont his second expedition, in 1934, Byrd spent five winter months alone operating a meteorological station, Advance Base, from which he narrowly escaped with his life after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning from a poorly ventilated stove. Unusual radio transmissions from Byrd finally began to alarm the men at the base camp, who then attempted to go to Advance Base. The first two trips were failures due to darkness, snow, and mechanical troubles. Finally, Thomas Poulter, E.J. Demas, and Amory Waite arrived at Advanced Base, where they found Byrd in poor physical health. The men remained at Advanced Base until 12 October when an airplane from the base camp picked up Dr. Poulter and Byrd. The rest of the men returned to base camp with the tractor. This expedition is described by Byrd in his autobiography "Alon"e. It is also commemorated in a U.S. postage stamp issued at the time, and a considerable amount of mail using it was sent from Byrd's base at Little America, which was powered by a Jacobs Wind 2.5 kW.
Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, Jr., USN (25 October 1888 - 11 March 1957) was an American naval officer who specialized in feats of exploration. He was a pioneering American aviator, polar explorer, and organizer of polar logistics. Aircraft flights, in which he served as a navigator and expedition leader, crossed the Atlantic Ocean, a segment of the Arctic Ocean, and a segment of the Antarctic Plateau. Byrd claimed that his expeditions had been the first to reach the North Pole and the South Pole by air. However, the majority of polar experts are now of the opinion that Roald Amundsen has the first verifiable claim to each pole. Byrd was a recipient of the Medal of Honor, the highest honor for heroism given by the United States.

Putnam; and the only contemporary account written during the expedition, by Stuart D. Paine, “Footsteps on the Ice, The Antarctic Diaries of Stuart D. I saw the very film you're speaking of and yes he said there were green valleys lush plant life and tons of animal diversity with vast amounts of resources. I was surprised to have seen it on CZcams. This was about 3 years ago a friend of mine was telling me all about operation high jump and admiral Byrd.

Theres definitely something down there they dont want us to know about a good friend of mine had been a pilot for 20 years and we decided to try and fly there as we have ventured the world together so many times and always heard these stories long story short 5 fighter jets flew up beside us not even half way toward Antarctica joined there radio frequency and basically said turn tf around and never come this far again or we will shoot you down with no hesitations or remorse i tried using my cell phone to record the whole situation and call home but my screen was disrupted by something just flickering until we was about 200 miles away after detouring back scary shit idk whats there but noone without clearance is going there thats for damn sure 2017 btw when this occurred

my grandfather was on this expedition. the film does not show how difficult it really was. I can't imagine being locked down in 6 months darkness, cramped quarters, all men, same food, hard work, suffering dogs, killing seals for dogfood.... Read "Footsteps on the Ice" if you want a more realistic story (Stuart Paine's diary).
I do appreciate seeing the film footage after reading Footsteps, I just FF through the acted portions. Laura Kissel from the Byrd Center at Ohio State put together a much longer film called Byrd 1933.

Byrd knew far more than he told the public in any interview reviewing his many discoveries and experiences. That is why many stations are present to deal with those events and "discoveries" that were unexpected and beyond belief. Challenged his Faith I would believe. Now, time of the abyss to open is here. Proverbs 3; 5 & 6.
His biggest expedition was for the US government, so I imagine much was kept under wraps from that.
The older video I watched he said he flew through a tunnel almost to the center of the earth and when they emerged from the tunnel in the plane he saw a taller race of humanoid creatures that rode chariots that’s flew by technology or by animal but one thing I remember Him saying was they were very peaceful and welcoming. A mountainous area filled with forests rivers/large waterfall everywhere around and in the middle of all that was this civilization. I swear he described the machines as having wings and being able to fly without any known fuels or technology. Almost mechanical bugs or birds but obviously in more of a vehicle format.

There used to be a channel on here maybe 3 or 4 years ago where a group of Flat Earthers were trying to raise funds(a gofundme I think) for a charter plane. They were supposed to fly from Greenland to the center of the North pole. They said even if they do not gather enough funds, the trip was still going to happen. When the time came, the trip was canceled, and a large portion of their videos were deleted.

For the record, I DO VERY MUCH believe we went to the Moon (and a lot farther!). However .. they absolutely had to doctor a lot of the videos and photos for public consumption. Does anyone have the full length video link that explains Byrd’s discovery of a Antartica sector and the North Pole where Byrd said it was warm and birds were. Also, Byrd described losing control of the aircraft and controlled by the beings in the inner earth earth.
There was a planned exploration around 2012 (?) but that too disappeared along with the video explaining the inhabitants inside the earth in the north pole.

Operation high jump is video documented by the Navy in the 40s and is available on CZcams. During this documentary, they show footage of a 500 mile area that is warm enough snow had melted away and there are lakes. They say the valley is green, but it's a black and white film. No doubt this is the result of volcanic activity warning the water and ground nearby. No sightings of birds or animals. The one everyone wants to see is the north Pole trip. This is the one with all the fantasy. If it were recorded, I'm sure it's well buried. I've read that it was just fanciful writings from his son after his death claiming to be his lost diaries. I have not researched it at all and make no claims either way.
