    Engagement rings are not investment pieces. They are very personalized and don't resell well. Natural diamonds are ridiculously expensive. Go for moissanite, get what you like, and save your money!

    Buy what you like regardless of price. You get peanuts for them in the future if you want /need to sell it.

    Diamonds are overpriced and overrated. Loads of other beautiful stones. About time we explore those instead.

    You mention at 09:33 'galleria' rings but I cant find reference to that design via google. What is the design of the ring at 09:33? Thanks

    Alot of people are buying Tungsten and Titanium rings with stone inlays and glow powders. Peole are using like gemstone powders, or little pieces of them.

    What’s wrong with lab created? Isn’t it the same? Isn’t it also impossible to test if it’s lab created ?

    • @devangselvadia8879
      @devangselvadia8879 Před 2 lety +3

      Lab created diamonds hold zero resale value that is why most people still dont prefer them despite being 30-40% cheaper than natural ones.Lab created diamonds popularly known as cvd are possible to test easily now since the tech to do so is now widely and easily available. In the end real is real,natural is natural.Usually people complaining about bad resale value are the ones who have drastically overpaid and the ones who couldn’t find a great deal when they wanna resell.

    • @CBNX7
      @CBNX7 Před 2 lety +2

      I would go with lab. Even if you get $0 back for resale, which isn't true because there are secondary lab resale markets starting, you still save money. I spent $2,700 on a high quality .75 carat diamond 3 years ago. Now it's retail value is $3,200 even on james allen, however resale value is only $1,000. I could have purchased the larger diamond I actually wanted with that $2,700 previously if I had gone with lab grown instead of natural. Who cares if it's grown in the earth or a lab? I feel like size and look matter more.

      Uhm ... being LGBT doesn't mean you prefer something with rainbows and stuff on your jewelry. Most LGBT people that want jewelry tend to like things similar to what other people like. Rings are often geometric for a reason.

  • @MrsPaulaTorres

    Only people who can’t afford diamonds say diamonds are overrated or overpriced. Diamond is the traditional wedding ring for a reason, to weed out the poor and unworthy males from marrying as evolutionary speaking the poor male tends to be sick with something his genetics not being best for future generations, when women started marrying unworthy males who are unable to provide for their wife and their family, then we started seeing sick children being born in the world. Diamond is the strongest gem, as the strength of the man hunting for it. Also the metaphysical properties of earth mined diamonds that have formed in the earth for eons symbolizing and supporting longevity. Lastly, the men that invest a lot on their commitment tend to strive to preserve it, while these females who marry broke unworthy males (not men!) end up living miserable lives blaming everyone else but themselves for choosing a worthless male.

      You need help. I have a Diamond ring, been married for 25 years to a successful male and now updating my rings to Moissanite because it’s more beautiful. The ring does not make the man. A smart couple will put their money in a home or a 401k.
