Stuff that dreams and nightmares are made of!
Now *This* is THE GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH!!! That carousel! I could not even in my imagination create such a beautiful image! OMG!
This whole place is like one big Primus music video.
The whole place is nothing short of incredible! Like stepping into a different world(makes the carousel even more perfect)!
This is basically a trip into someone's mind. No better words to describe it
Been here and going back. You should check out the back room behind the carousel. Full of Organs and parts. You can't see everything in one day. The Japanese Garden is very lovely. Thank you Carpetbagger for these videos. I saw some things I either didn't see or forgot about. A BIG thumbs up on this attraction.
When I was 15 my family and I took a trip around the US. This place left an impression on me. I would love to go back. My trip was almost 20 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday.
I would literally be crying in that carousel room x-x
Do you mean because you love it or because you'd be scared? I'd cry because I adore it!
I went when I was young the entire place is a living hell I cried and had to RUN OUT USING AN EMERGENCY EXIT my mom cried too 😂💀
Again....terrifying! It was impressive to say the least... but those marionettes! Nightmare fuel! thanks for the adventure Jacob!
I love this place, Jacub this is up there in the top ten best carpetbagger videos ever in my opinion. 😊😊😊
Fear and loathing in that last room
Carousel was the best part.
After all of those crazy dark rooms, the Spirit of Aviation room with its windows seemed oddly normal.
I went to this place in 2011 and was blown away by how many cool things this man acquired in his lifetime. The Octopus's Garden was sadly in disrepair even when it when I saw it then, but it was still so cool to see.
Santa in a slicker!
Love the videos, man. You and Adam The Woo inspired me to start my own channel after my fathers recent passing. Thanks for all the entertainment.
Whatever Happens, Man Cool I subscribed
Song that begins to play at 8:46 is my favorite song in the House. I’ve been there at least twice.
Unleash the Kraken!!! This place is awesome!!
Just visited today! Love this place-we go every few years.
I loved the Octopus Gardens, the carousal, and the carousal with all the dolls. The organ room was closed last time we went. The last time we went a lot of was closed off due to it being winter.
7:01 This thing is mentioned in 'American Gods'.
jadenova much of this place is described in American gods.
Even though I grew up in Wisconsin, I've only been to HOTR once, about 10 years ago. It was really cool! I want to bring my kids someday.
Carousel!~ I wanna live there just for that! It's my dream! 😍
This place looks amazing! I'm adding it to my travel list. The machines remind me of the Musee Mecanique in San Francisco. So cool! Thanks for sharing!
This place would scare the heck outta me :s I'm afraid of really big things and statues and sculptures and stuff. Things that look like living things but they're completely frozen. creepy
Mikaila Baker I’m so glad other people have this same fear! I thought I was weird 😂
Chloe Deacon oh we exist, and suffer along with you 👍
In one of the musical rooms I told my husband one of the statues is staring at him and my husband jokingly said it blinked. Then it really did! I told him and he said no way so we watched it until it blinked again and we took off lol
It’s called megalophobia. I have it when an object is larger then it’s supposed to be (a larger then life human figure would freak me out, but the kraken vs whale wouldn’t. It’s supee weird )
@@Jess-kn8vl insidious
I did not realize it would be that big. It is going on my bucket list.
That carousel is beautiful, such detail. Great job!
Wow that was awesome, my favorite was the carousel it was stunning. They put a lot of work into that place setting up all those manikins and automatons. Brilliant !!!!. xx
Thank you for posting this, I have epilepsy and I can’t drive so it’s hard for me to travel. My parents took me here at a very young age and it’s cool to see that I didn’t just imagine all of this, truly amazing.
That place is awesome! Also, I love pipe organ music!
It’s the Carousel...OF THE DAMNED!
Yes! Have been here, it's fantastic, sometimes nightmarish and overwhelming. So much to take in!
wow this place is amazing.
This carousel is gorgeous!!! Never seen anything like it. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

OMG, I love this!
I love that you mentioned American Gods. It is my favorite book.
this is by far one of your best visits to anywhere ever
My husband said this reminds me of Night at the museum 🤣
it just gets better and better...
This place completely enthralled me as a kid.
Wow great part 2 . I can't wait to back there 😊
Another great video 😊
They were building the whale when i was there last. Need to go back love it
yup.... the carousel is officially insane
Just happy happy happy
Wow ... For some reason I feel this place is the creepiest you've been to . Maybe because it's a real home or the old dolls but it makes me think of serial killers and a horrible childhood . The guns and zippos were awesome . Man all your shit is awesome .
this one is in the bag 😎
impressive .
jump scare 7:02 lol
How could I have never heard of this place???!It is unbelievable😮😄i need to go there so bad
The angels above are battling the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, which are also up there but in a corner
Part 2 and the wonderment continues......(I must visit this place)........
That carousel! 😻
impressive, most impressive!
Remarkable place
You should go to The Pez Visitor Center!!
Never imagined I could fall in love w/a carousel, but I think it just happened. Loved Gaiman's work for many yrs, but never got around to reading "American Gods." Library's 6 blks dn the st, think I'll add "Gods" to my late summer reading list, just as soon as I finish "A Journey to the Center of the Earth," which was languishing on the free shelf, awaiting my arrival the last time I ventured dn there. "Dizzy" was my fave tune in the 1st grade - perfect accompaniment for this crazy rockhouse - sing it, Tommy!
CAROUSEL !!!
that whale terrified me when I was little lol
I don't know if I should be in wonderment or in terror...7:05 was hilarious
I heard one of my favorite song's from the 50's in the background be bop Lula be gene Vincent I'm hearing more songs that I love from the past and yes it was Mr Burns plan but his was the spruce moose what the hell man this is just insane a carisale how is this even possible
Totally awesome, it would be a dream come true,,,😍
all I can say is wow...
Man thanks again
this place is nightmare fuel
Quint reference noted and appreciated
It's been years since I've had one, but I feel a HOTR nightmare is in my near future. Sensory overload!
Ride the carousel!
That Santa was playing a tuba
Great video
So much of this is so disturbingly creepy, particularly around the 8:00+ mark when the instruments all start playing by themselves.... then start to grow discordant....
I freaked out in the whale/kraken room. I wanna go again, but idk if I can face the room again, haha
Nice Jaws reference.
Mr. Burns' version was the Spruce Moose. The 4 Horseman of the apocalypse used to scare the crap outta me, still loved it though.
Santa wasn’t playing the trombone he was playing the tuba
What camera do you use I really enjoy the quality of what you film, also your great too new fan but will definitely be watching your channel
Big props for having read American Gods. I LOVE Neil Gaiman.
I WANT TO GO HERE
Sweet Jesus those music machines need to be tuned. Badly.
This video was great but this place is what my nightmares are made of
Just watching this video is giving me anxiety, I would be having a mental breakdown if I were in that carousel room 😬Thanks for letting me see though, it's amazing! Words cannot describe that place!
I went when I was younger the whole place is a living hell. I ran out using an EMERGENCY EXIT in a panic and my mom cried too 😂💀💀
When you take acid, mixed with K2 & fentynal
You can hear the Franz Josef at 6:45
Please explain schrimshaw!! Thank you!!
+Diwondermum carvings on whale teeth
Sorry I couldnt do that place ,that would drive me nuts I think I agree with Frank Lloyd Wright!
Octopus' Garden wasn't working? That really stinks. Perfect music for that room.
I haven't been there in quite a while, and the part from 4:39 to 5:32 is new to me. I just wish you'd included a quick look at Miss Kitty's Boudoir!
+snarkus63 it's probably my favorite music machine
4:12 Tuba
10:02
silly carpetbagger!
he can't even *eat* food because he doesn't own an entire _T o r s oooo!_
(this location is incredible! i'm learning so much about america from your channel!)
