hdr is just higher levels of gamma it enhances the color. Imagine going from 1k different shades of red to 100k shades to use to paint a picture. not to be confused with bit depth, bit depth is how many can be shown at one time. HDR gives you more colors to "paint" with. it makes the colors pop more on screen.
Love this presentation guys. It's perfect watching the conferences and your commentary simultaneously. Keep this going with the rest and future conferences. Keep up the badass work!

I don't have an Xbox, but i'd totally get Scorpio along with Halo Wars 2, We Happy Few, Gears 4, Scalebound, and State of Decay 2. Both Sony and Microsoft killed it this year!
It's almost as if Xbox listened to what people want.

You can see a change in the core bots in recore, one of the bots is missing compared to the E3 2015 trailer. (The flying one) Cool to see that they are continuing to work on and fix the game.

Love how Spencer talks about a lot of exclusive games, yet you see "Also on Windows 10" for pretty much every game.
Well been as Microsoft owns windows 10 it would be pretty stupid if they didn't. Especially been as they are trying to make many games compatible across platforms.

Funny that some people counted Sony out after XBox conference.. Sony's conference just ended and I can say it's been one of the best Conference I've ever seen at E3

I think the Windows / Xbox cross-play could be huge. Maybe not right away, or in this current generation, but that's gonna be massive to be able to play across platforms and all have it be tied to same profiles + friends.

It seems like all it takes to make a this gen console is to wait for your competition to do something, and then just do the same thing while selling it as something new ;D

it was fine for me. I was excited for recore and scalebound but kinda got less hyped. Gears 4 looks good but we expected that and I'm not a fan of introducing new consoles when i already own the original

That Final Fantasy XV demo wouldn't be bad if it was part of a cohesive story and was driving the narrative forward in some way.

its not about power god of war and uc4 prove its up to the devs POINT BLANK. even with in sony there is a difference in dev quaulity

Colin's reaction to the Scorpio is a bit surprising. He seemed genuinely positive about it and how its good for gamers yet a month or two ago he was flaming Sony for doing basically the same thing with PS4 Neo.
he kinda sounded like he was more praising the manner in which they announced it really. plus you've gotta remember the XB1 kinda needs new hardware because, as it stands, it is currently so much less powerful than the PS4.
+tony lucente yeah but it's not like Sony got to "announce" Neo before he went off on them. I don't really see how this method was any more positive than what Sony is likely to do.
+Stephone Reed I agree. Also the Scorpio announcement was all talk and no show. They basically gave us a high level blurb of what the system is going to be and nothing more. At least when Sony officially talks about Neo, we'll get to see some games to demonstrate its abilities. I think that would be a much more effective announcement.

The casual audience won't want to bother with PC gaming. I mean what's the point? They'll still be able to play each game here just without the extra costs and hassle that comes with owning a gaming PC or laptop. Besides I imagine that when Scorpio releases it will be substantially cheaper than a PC with the exact same specifications, so really their aren't losing out here at all
