Eternal life in heaven is a free gift from God. No human being deserves it due to his/her good works. We have all sinned and fall short in glory of God(eg.Jesus says if any man looks at woman with lust he has committed adulterly with her in his heart..No man is that pure😅). So how did God give us this free gift🤔? He sent his only begotten son to be betrayed, humiliated ,beaten and die as fine/payment for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Since he is a just God and has to punish sin. All you have to do is humbly repent of all your sins(read the 10 commandments) honestly turn away from them. Believe in/trust that Jesus did that for you. Confess with your mouth that he is your lord and saviour..You will be saved from hell🔥. The holyspirit(his omnipresent spirit) will in dwell within you and convert your cold heart of stone into that of flesh that can truly love God and be a slave of righteousness and not of sin. This might be the last time you read the true gospel of salvation..look around 🔥🔥 the end is nigh. Please don't reject God's gift. Your soul is on the line.Jesus loves you❤

For me, it was an Omega Seamaster Professional watch. I bought it and when I took it back to the jewelry chain (which was an authorized retailer) for the recommended maintenance according to Omega’s recommended interval, unbeknownst to me, some of the serialized parts were replaced...or let’s just say stolen because that’s what it was. One day the crown disconnected and I couldn’t wind it. That jeweler (which was an authorized retailer) is no longer in business. I was living in a different part of the country and I attempted to resolve it with Omega directly since they now have their own stand alone retail stores. Even though I had all of my documentation and original packaging, I was basically told to go pound sand. I was really close to just tossing it in the trash walking out of the mall that day. I was 23 when I bought it, but I should have bought a Rolex (or any other brand) even though the style of it seemed “older” and less “sporty.” So if you’re thinking of a luxury watch that you would be proud to hand down someday, don’t waste your time or money for an Omega. They don’t stand behind their products one iota and they take no responsibility for the retailers they select. It’s an overrated brand name. I probably would have received better customer service from Casio.

I worked for a Luxury brand, Bulgari back in 2000 heading up their finance department in NYC - there is a lot more going on with these brands than ALUX is telling you. 1) In my case, the US was used for marketing and was setup to have zero profit and send all the profit back to Italy in the form as always changing margins - made my life forecasting costs impossible. 2) We had a never ending stream of celebrities trying to get product for free. Robert DeNiro's people called at least once a month looking for free stuff - I cut him off the second time they asked. 3) They would bend over backwards to give you great customer service and packaging - but the margins were insane. As an example they gave us all a "team watch" after 6 months employment - the watch sold at $2,500 on the sales floor, but cost us $425 or so. Other goods were an order of magnitude higher in profit - scarcity breeds that luxury pricing. 4) They were so freakin cheap when it came to technology: we were running 10 base T LAN back in 2000 when 100 was normal. They also gave us old computers that struggled with SAP and the other software we used. Speaking of SAP - they used cheap consultants in 1999 to do their y2k SAP conversion that was so messed up, you couldn't get an income statement out of the system - I had to do everything manually in Excel to report and forecast, days of time a month. 5) The rent they paid for their location on 57th and 5th was obscene back then - $240k/month for the store and the suites on the 2 upper floors for us. Late 2000 the lease was up and it was pushed up to $450k/month and they signed it no balking. It has to be $1.2m to $1.6m/month now.

I've never wanted to purchase a luxury item, they always have logos and stuff, and since everybody own LV, SL, Gucci, Prada etc, I see all that as tacky and a dumb waste of money when you can get a good quality item for less, you can speak to an artesan directly and ask for a handmade good, that will be expensive, but not as expensive as the luxury brands, and thats the way to actually ensure uniqueness.
What are your opinions on mine?

    • @dopemusic6414

Well as a European guy unfortunately rappers and American celebrities have ruined those brands. There is a way you put those outfits together but those celebrities have no idea. Like wearing Gucci jumpsuits top and bottom looking like a Christmas tree. This is why someone like you is put off because you see people with money but no style ruining the brand. Just my opinion.

My best friend introduced me to LV decades ago. One of her friends arranged a special visit for me to the original factory near La Defense in Paris. The site was Mr. Vuitton's actual house I read about in books. This was the exact time when the Vuitton family was in the process of selling the company to Mr. Arnault. For an entrepreneur, I spent nearly a full day there learning, and it was like getting a year's worth of business education in a few hours. I even enjoyed tea in Mr. Vuitton's house. Mr. Arnault, whom I have met on occasion, made an incredible purchase. Once I told him that owning LV was close to owning a share in the Federal Reserve! I remember he smiled with a huge grin. An amazing, highly intelligent, cultured and successful businessman I will never forget.
Even though I own a few pieces of LV acquired years ago, my favorite bag was made by a small, family owned firm in Paris, Henri Saxel. With no logos or anything special, I have used this same bag daily for 24 years. Simple, plain and never attracts attention, this is my favorite accessory. Friends ask me why? I buy items that I love and personally enjoy. In short, my goal is to impress myself not other people. Thanks

I have always said my handbags are pièces of art & I'm so happy that point was stated in this video. Many people can accept others buying paintings that sit on the wall, but can't understand that there are very similar reasons associated with handbags. They can inflate in price (not every kind), there's a story, the craftsmanship, and eco reasons.

Also the second version “Kapferer on Luxury-How brands can grow yet remain rare”. Authors are previous CEO of LVMH and other luxury brands (apparel and cosmetics) for many years. Now does lecture in major fashion schools in EU. His reason for departing: Too much politics in the game. There are set rules in the Luxury game. Luxury or non Luxury brands, should always have confidence in their products. These Luxury brands know how we think, know how to reel us in, what to do to sell there product so they kinda play around with their client or consumers. That's also why they have SI (social influencers) they know millions of ppl totally enjoy SM alot. So they also use that to sell their products rather it be them putting pictures of the product, the timing, how much pics to put on SM. Timing is everything to them..!!

Not quite sure LV appeals to me anymore as there are so many fakes around that it's becoming ridiculous. Owned their wallet once, and its quality didn't reflect the price either. Also owned Armani flip flops that have fallen apart within a month of purchase. I have gone off many of these so called luxury brands, because their quality has gone down significantly in the past 20-30 years, and what used to be the product only wealthy would buy, is now an overpriced brand with mediocre quality that attracts people who want to appear rich. Yes, there are very expensive brands that I love, and would happily buy, but not for others to see me wearing them, but for myself, and most importantly, quality. If I pay few hundred pounds for a shirt, I expect it to last for years to come.

The fact I don't blink at $500 a year for my glasses. $1,600 every 2 years for a phone. $70 for a French Connection shirt. If it's good quality and I like it? _Shut up and take my money!**_
In all seriousness, American Psycho is a surprisingly solid advice on Haute Couture. I worked for Ike Behar, so that's a thing. 🤷🏻

The millionaires I know don't go around showing off luxury items but you can just tell they are well off by the quality of their clothing. Their cars are not even that new. It's those that go around flashing brands that are sometimes the less wealthy😆😂🤣
