@@NealYee-lj2qc, Good one.
I really think that it depends on your level. I think that when you’re nouveau riche you tend to be more aggressive towards flashing brands. When the dust settles and you calm down you will par with more simply styles and techniques.
In example- rappers and athletes who get that first real taste of money are out here in LV and pushing Bugatti while Warren Buffet is driving a late model Car from the late 90s.
Excellent video as always and ever so informative
Look at how the typical billionaire dresses compared to rappers. They are not flashy. Mark zuckerberg wears the same stuff everyday. Mark Cuban would be perfectly happy with a Mavericks t-shirt and jeans (he owns the team). Elon musk…leather jacket, t-shirt, jeans. I believe Steve Jobs was a billionaire and he dressed very plainly too. People with real money don’t really give a shit. They don’t need status symbols and they won’t be impressed by someone’s louis vuitton handbag. Just buy quality clothes that fit , are comfortable, and will last. Sperry shoes, knitted polo shirts, sturdy oxfords, barbour jackets if you live in the country, etc. If you have money to splurge then maybe some cashmere sweaters. It’s more important if people like you as a person and want to be around you than what you are wearing. I’d rather buy fewer but higher quality which saves me money in the long run then I can save and invest more money. I’m pretty frugal anyway.
Also a lot of my polo shirts from ralph lauren and vinyard vines actually came from second hand used clothes stores because someone in my family saw them and thought i would like them. Most of my clothes are quite old.
I wore alot of Ralph Lauren blue label in high school & college; It's a overall really cool & elegant brand. Now a days i wear alot of there purple label clothes & i have to say they're truly timeless designs.
You totally left out the Good Will ™ most of the brands you've mentioned here are in my closet because of them (GW); they're timeless and durable AF!
H&M
Zara
Michael Kors
Ralph Lauren
Calvin Klein
Gucci
Louis Vuitton
Chanel
The Row
Loro Piana

Hermes
Brunello Cucinelli
Oscar Dela Renta
Givenchy
Levies is missing here
The Givenchy is specifically its Haute Couture label
Really? Rich people don't need to impress anyone, that's why they wear simple, often cheap, clothes while those who flash Prada and LV on Insta...😂
TRUE IM ONE OF THEM I KEEP IT SIMPLE BROTHER!

I’ve always invested in dress shoes. My favorite is Ferragamo’s. They are super comfortable and the last forever. I’ve had some shoes for over 30 years. Once in a while they need need new heels of sole. Well constructed shoes can be easily repaired by a cobbler. Some people at work wear fancy clothes but wear cheap shoes that fall apart in a few months.
I haven’t tried those but I have some Allen Edmonds penny loafers which can also be rebuilt. If you are patient they run sales once or twice a year for about 40% off. I mostly wear my Sperry boat shoes though. I’ve had my Sperry shoes for years. I abuse the heck out of them and they work great. They hurt a lot before I broke them in but I love them now.
@@AJohnson0325 I have a pair of Edmonds, they are very nice shoes. I use to wear Top Siders all the time when they where made in the US and a better leather. Today to get that they cost $400. I switched to Timberland boat shoes. A superior shoe.

> Fashion Brands You Wear As You Get Richer
Custom tailored.
End video.
Unfortunately, in today's society, what it looks like from the outside is more important than what we or you look like from the inside
Name brands are fashion trendy that come and go… Bespoke is Classic with style and timelessness
BESPOKE !!!! YES. Attention to DETAIL.
As I became richer, I started to shop at Primark, Uniqlo, etc. Basically I will buy anything that has value and milk them to the end. And the validation of others mean less and less as my bank account numbers go up.
H&M and Zara make the list, but Coach doesn't 🤔

The ridiculous fact is people living paycheck to paycheck are wearing these fashion brands on an everyday basics when actually they should buy in H&M , Zara or Forever21
I love how alux goes back to its original luxury content but it just amplifies its overall ethos that you work on yourself for you Mentally physically socially and career wise 😊 thank you ALUX 😊
I agree to disagree with this one though remove: Gucci, LV, Kors, Bottega, Givenchy, Celine then add Kiton, Tom Ford, Tods, Jimmy Choo then i would 100% agree 😊😅
DID NOT LIKE THE VIDEO RICH PPL DONT NEED TO IMPRESS ALUX , SORRY
Whenever Alux posts,i am the first fine to watch and like and share and comment lol
THANK YOU ALUX :)
I noticed that Dior and Prada were not included. Have these brands lost status?
Yeah. 😂 trust more to the opinion of this shallow robot! Please wear what you like, and make your confidence a read status symbol!
If i had 10 billion dollars, I'd still wear H&M. Its da bomb! 😅
Thank you Alux. Appreciate all the cheat codes. I have used most and got my mind blown that they work. Especially, love the high end gyms and my new coffee shop!! ❤❤ dedicated to growth!
I actually worked for Hart or HSM when in college. You left out Brooks Brothers which is an entry level long standing company. Also how about Armani which is the most recent purchase for me. How about Saville Row in London which is what 007 wore. Another of my UK favorites is Burberry with my woolen slacks.
I also have a secret place I have bought from - TheRealReal, where I recently purchased that Armani blazer for the unbelievable price of under $40! Yes it was previously worn but from the iconic Barney's of NYC.
I’m baffled why no fabric mill or tailoring house wasn’t mentioned. Reda VBC Fox Brothers Harrison’s Guabello Dormeuil Maison Corthay St Crispins surely are worn by the Money 💴 Monsters.
@@lindberghwesley Totally agree. The majority of the wealthy don't buy off the rack. Saville Row is tailored. And the ones you mentioned. Wake up ALUX!
Agree with Brooks Brothers and J Crew is there with RL. Saville Row isn’t a brand it is a street where all the best Bespoke Shops are. And yes - those are worth a mention if not their own video.
@@superfleapilot7484 So true. Forgot J Crew and is Abernathy still in business? I now live in a tiny town in western North Carolina mountains.
Abercrombie & Fitch is what I meant.
This is not bad. I love to see an Alux Video on the best custom clothing designers and houses.
Yes!!

As we become a better version of ourselves everything around us is bound to change: our daily choices and preferences also tend to change as we evolve.
Thanks for your new video and a interesting list! /Marie from Sweden
That Zara shop in a corner is from my home city- Valencia, Spain!
What about Prada,Bottega Veneta Canali
Are you serious? This is the only video that I disagree with Alux. People who know the true cost behind H&M and Zara would never buy anything from these fast fashion brands. Buying clothes from these 2 brands shows that you don’t have class. After discovering that fast fashion brands have done so many evil things, I stopped buying clothes from them. I think your channel should have done a research about the fast fashion before putting these brands on the list. Being rich doesn’t mean that you have class if you still wear fast fashion. I would rather go with different high quality brands if I get richer since there are so many better options to choose.
Or lack of labels, your garments are either custom or bespoke, and the fabric mill is the most important choice.
That’s Brunello Cucinelli for you. Or Ralph Lauren purple label
I found it funny that in the Louis Vuitton part of the video they showed the lady getting into a Kia.
hahaha
I went to specialty stores and department stores. If I may add, though certain brands are aspirational, they don't fit every body type. Some brands, like Calvin Klein, fit a slender boxy body. Yes, clothes can be tailored, or you can stick with what works best.
Prefer the Adam and Eve attire, naked enjoying nature baby !
Why wasn’t Banana Republic and JCrew on the list?? I mean H&M made it, come on…. 😒
My brand is also on the way, just in need of an investor(s).
Remove those lights from video which is bright and comes in every 4 sec.
They Should Do a Video about The Cars You Drive as You get Richer and a Video about The Homes You Live in as You get Richer or The Yachts You Have as You get Richer or The Private Jets You Have as you get Richer or The Luxury Items or Goods You Have as You get Richer
Note: Most of these brands are incompatible with the “old money” values this channel generally promotes.
Another golden nugget nice Alux
What is?
I know a girl whose father is a multimillionaire. She wears branded clothes from time to time but nothing ostentatiously expensive. The fun thing about her is, she wears clothes from the local store and markets mostly. Stuff that any girl in the neighbourhood can afford. She always has hundreds of thousands of dollars in her account but chooses basic clothing and buys them in bulk during sale.
I think it’s an old money vs new money idea. She is 4th generation wealthy so has nothing to prove. She looks for colour and quality mostly.
I am on the view that the 1st generation are the only one's who have any right to flaunt the wealth as they are the one's who've built it, anyone else should sit down, including the 4th generations 🤞
There was a video I think I noticed that it wasn’t the voice of the ALUX GIRL . Am thinking it was her AI, I may be wrong 😂but it’s just my thought
Brands are back ! I truly missed it.
Alux: Maybe someday you could do a video for the millions of baby boomers who've had 3-4 of their jobs offshored, lived through a number of recessions, lost their jobs because the companies they worked for went bankrupt, office politics, health issues, and despite all their careful planning and hard work - - are struggling. I know this isn't a very sexy subject, but there are a lot of us out there just like that, who've spent decades listening to others with higher incomes tell us "It's just your attitude, you just didn't work hard enough, plan well enough etc. etc. Facing old age in poverty despite a lifetime of hard work and effort to avoid it, is not for sissies. 🤕
Id try them all throug my life with other choices and my creations😅❤
I'm comfortable wearing the same black Under Armour t-shirt & shorts everyday.
5-figure price tags are not a marker or indicator of personal worth, worthiness, nor do they make those who pop those tags worthwhile individuals. There are just as if not more skilled craftsmen or craftspeople with Brands not owned by yt Europeans who are have determined to lock non-yt European, African and African-American designers out so that they do not have to truly compete. These fashion houses are possible, in large part, because of generational robbery, classist pillage, and the belief among low-self-esteem-afflicted sheeple that “yt peoples’ ice is colder”.
If you need pieces like these to feel like you belong ANYWHERE and are entitled to take up space in the world, you have much bigger problems than being able to afford said pieces.
There is always a downer trying to bring others down.
Can you tell me the name of this background song and the artist, please?
"Who wears Brunello Cucinelli? "------> Mark Zuckerberg's gray t-shirts are custom ordered from Brunello Cucinelli.
It seems to me that wearing most of the brands that are mentioned in this video would make the owner(s) of the brand richer. There are a lot of lesser designers out there that provide quality clothes for a reasonable price. I wouldn't consider H&M and Zara as good brands! fast fashion contributes significantly to the degradation of the environment since their item of clothing ends in land fills after they are warn just a few times.
Nice list, missing Dior and Tom Ford😂
Dior is super expensive. A pair of socks is over $100. 😂
They also didn't mention Coach
It is a lot more important to have a good tailor and ensure that your clothes fit well and second that the fabrics are high quality; that is sufficient for most.
With one exception on Ralph Lauren where I can find pieces at thrift stores and eBay, I wouldn't buy any items from the brands listed. I'm more of a Lands' End, Jos. A. Bank, and Paul Fredrick kind of person. Ditto on Dockers, Haggar, ECCO, and Rockport.
Actually Ralph Lauren Polo is worn by all sections - from middle class to billionaires to the presidents of United States
Another Awesome video Thanks Much Love ❤❤❤
H&M and Zara? What? 😂😂😂
YSL, Christian Dior, Fendi, Loewe and Prada
Hey what about Ermenegildo Zegna?
Luxurious I stuff! Unnecessary way of spending your money!
I have a poor wardrobe , car, mc and a formal wardrobe car and mc. you really need two sets.
Louis Vuitton is a waste of money. Having owned a number of pieces it gets old real quick.
Buy me a Golf Cap,a few swimwears from your pocket money and send on fast track 💓🎉

That list is great and all, but I prefer 5.11 tactical
I will have my say, this list doesn’t have Versace,Valentino,Armani or Benetton 😮.
Ive experimented wearing cheaper brands to see if it mattered, and it does, it feels way better wearing quality clothes. Usually higher priced clothing fit better with better quality.
The Row is what I’ve learned and admire.
What about Christian Dior?
🔥🔥🔥
I glad to find your channel, is unique; thanks.
Can you do one on cars next please!
confidence is a read status symbol. ❤
No Brioni? 😮
No Dior ??
You can't impress me with your rags. They all look the same to me. You won't get any extra treatment
Uniqlo should be No. 1 on this list.
Just now...
ima stick with my gildan and goodwill
MOST of this luxury BRANDS from FRANCE wow
Where is Dior?
Great video!
Where does Armani come when compared to these brands
What a joke
Hérmes for me...❤
Namedropping is never a good thing. Nonsense video for those who have at least some understanding of a fashion industry. Though I love and wear most of brands, but it’s not about “that label”. 😅
Let’s look at Geoffrey B Small
I wonder how much is made in China.
Wrong
If you got money you buy bespoke.
They do not wear any motifs on clothes .
Spend time visiting the area known as the Golden Triangle coast in Portugal, and you will see what I mean.
H&M, Zara??? Seriously?? All working class buy clothes, shoes, bags from there.
You will never see someone rich buying Gucci they only buy it to pretend to be rich or were given it for free.
I no none of these brands but I know my Tailors children’s names .
There is missing Japan's selvedge denim Brands
Fancy!!!!🎉🎉🎉
If it’s known by everyone and costs a lot of money and most people have it, you’re wasting your money trying to look rich.
I❤Chanel
Ehh, some of these brands have really gone downhill lately.
LV actually does some good work and product development. Gucci is garbage now, and is worn by people who want to look rich, rather than people who are rich. When they stsrted marketing to blacks, it was obvious they were on the downslope.
Girl you trying to hard to say Louis Vuitton in a fancy way.
It's really funny when the author tells you that when you get rich and become a more serious person, you should dress from large fashion companies, instead of local manufacturers and tailors. As if wearing the logo proves to you and others that you have become a more valuable person. Deeds, not words.
narrator says you keep watching 15 videos in alux channel daily so all in alux can get rich and show off these fashion brands
My experience rich dont wear zara and h&m
Forget Gucci
