Roger Tangorra has one beautiful '72 Nova SS that runs as good as it looks! Power is via an aluminum block 540ci engine with an edelbrock pro-flow xt manifold, holley efi,e85 fuel and a pair of Borg Warner 72 mm turbos. This immaculate 3550lb (with driver) street driven car has no problem getting into the 7's! Remind me back when I had a 70 nova had a small block 400 in it with Tunnel ram Intake with two 650 Holly's, turbo 400 with 3000 stall speed tour converter and I ran 456 gears in the rear was not a good car for the highway but it sure was fast stoplight to stoplight!

I ran a 70 nova 402 BB in the left lane ( I felt it was faster that day) back in 1976. Looks the same but then it was called Rockford Dragway. And by the way I ran a fastest time of 12.60 and the following Monday I blew it up in my driveway! Broke a rod and shoved the pieces out the side of the block.

This was always one of my favorite cars when it comes to the supercars of the sixties this is pretty close to the top of the list it was a great runner if you could build the engine and you knew what you were doing you could get a lot of horsepower out of these little guys and I don't think the car wade that much..
