I won’t lie; when I first heard that line, I instantly thought “Wouldn’t a ‘bad miracle’ be a curse?” But an opposite of a curse would be a blessing. So I guess the term “miracle” is just any event that logic or science can’t explain. We often say miracle to describe good things, but the Moses/Pharaoh parallel is a good point

I think dust devil's are a lot more common and could propel a person into the sky but it could also be a the fact toddlers will see the world right side up until a certain age then they start seeing everything upside down to the point they just get used to it and mentally flip this image. For a while it may seem like gravity is starting to feel like it's pulling you up because the sight maturing though once you get used to this and flip the image you'd still have an unease about gravity's pull being by the top of your head.

I love how only one person got even VAGUELY close to getting what happens in the movie, and they still didn't really get it. It's a fantastic movie, blows away all expectations.
To me it looks secretly like what the bible is talking about and they just hide it in this movie .that thing looks more like a demon than some alien

She’s talked about her own anxiety struggles in the past, so I don’t think she necessarily meant it like that. More like being sucked into the sky is like something that has never happened. Many other things that people are anxious about may be unlikely to happen, but could definitely still happen lol

After watching the film, I can tell ya'll, ofc with no spoilers, that NONE of these theories were close. Expect the unexpected. A lot of people were quick to say they found it boring or confusing, but there's a deeper meaning in it, which def made it one of my favorite movies by far. I have never seen any of Peele's films, but after watching this one, I'm def giving Us and Get Out a try. He's genius!

There's something about Keke's mannerisms that really remind me of Dolly Parton - I know they've worked together in the past but there's a similarity that I can't put it into words. They're both naturally hilarious and look like they'd put you at ease and be so friendly 😊

This theory reminds me of the short story Dark They Were, and Golden-Eyed. It’s a story about people moving to mars, slowly becoming more and more alien until more humans come and the original people don’t recognize their own species. They forget they were ever human. Worth the google.

I have a feeling this is gonna be the most straightforward horror movie that Peele has done so far, less about leaning into metaphors and more about doing a straight horror but giving enough that the audience can make all the allegories themselves. Peele has probably learned how much his audience does thing by now and he loves classic horror, so I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to just make a classic-ish horror

This is a movie that I wasn't impressed by the first time I watched it and then I watched it again... and again, and it just worked better with every rewatch. I would say I now really like the movie, especially after watching the Dead Meat Podcast talk about the details I missed my first watch (with friends, not fully paying attention)

But the movie isn’t set in open land. It’s literally set on the West side of the mountains of the Angeles National Forest, in Agua Dulce/Acton just north of LA.

Love the fact that sometimes they say that the theory is flat out wrong and other times they’re like “interesting theory” lol. I suspect that someone told them that it’d be too revealing of the movies mysteries to just say flat out that a theory was wrong.
Some of these ideas really need to be turned into film or some type of tv show series. I’m not really into horror but I love thought provoking shows and movies.

There is something that we still don't know about the TMZ guy's death. He had a helmet on.....his eyes weren't visible, then why does it kill him and not OJ who is right beside him. Does the mirror like finish of his helmet mess with its brain.......does the brief reflection of OJ's eyes on his helmet trigger it ?? Answer to this question IMO will give us more details about Jean Jacket's behaviour.

Despite the movie not being about Skinwalkers the overall feel reminded me very much of the tale of Skinwalker Ranch. Especially the way lighting and the distorted sounds were used to create tension in the film.
