Lost respect for Melling if he’s saying the pockets are buckets. He’s like some of the other “old” players F off go play Chinese ball then.
well some english pool tables have unusually large ones and I wouldn't be suprised if these kind of tables have them too cause it has to look good on TV
pockets are standard size. they have not been made bigger for tv.
ok maybe they seem big for Chris Melling :b I think the pools used are supreme winners, its just that i played on some blackball tables that pockets seemed big@@UltimatePool
I agree with melling. On the Strachan super fine cloths , the pockets play much bigger than the old green supreme cloths. Plus on a new cloth + hot tv lights it plays even bigger.
They are nice and forgiving. As Chris said a long time ago, 'Careful when you walk round the table, you might fall in'. That was a joke about the old WEF world champs tables, the second time he won, he annihilated everyone in style.
