    I would be very interested in seeing a video with timed laps on this link vs the original link! I have done stuff like that for my own components before, but its expensive to buy just to check, so it would be very nice consumer advice for many of us! A good 2 minute enduro-segment that you know well works for me :)

    I understand that the flipchip at the shock mount isn't present on this link. What does instaling this link do to the head angle? Is it equivalent to the high or low setting?

    Nice video. When you said that 170 was the sweet spot, was that a 170 fork and 230 x 60 (170) rear or 170 fork and standard shock 230 x 57.5 (166). Thanks.

      I ride a 170mm fork and a 60mm stroke shock on stock link and for me that is very good. I rode a 160mm fork first. 170mm feels better.

    Would a 180mm Fork help to avoid the low bottom bracket with the rear in 180mm?

      @artscyclery875  Před 4 lety +1

      ya it would, also would make for a sweet mini DH rig!

  • @thebeardedyorkshireman8368

    Hi would this be a good upgrade on the Hightower? Would you change the air shock?

    • @artscyclery875
      @artscyclery875  Před 3 lety

      If you're looking for more travel and more bottom out resistance, It's a good upgrade.

    • @artscyclery875
      @artscyclery875  Před 3 lety

      I would recommend leaving your stock air shock on initially.

    Is it perfectly compatible, use after changing 180 stroke

    • @artscyclery875
      @artscyclery875  Před 4 lety

      What shock are you running? I'd recommend running 180 up front too and short cranks. We had no clearance issues with the rear travel at 180mm.

    How was it with the elevensix, did you have to change the spring?

    • @artscyclery875
      @artscyclery875  Před 4 lety

      ya the clearance is super tight so you have to run a fox spring.

      @@artscyclery875 is this for all frame sizes? I‘m interested in a lt link but I don‘t want to ride a fox spring on my 11.6. I‘ve tried a sls spring on it and for my taste the gap between spring and body is too tight. I ride a xl frame

      @@MaxMustermannnnnn I believe all frame sizes have the same clearance issues, but Jimmy at Cascade Components would know best. cascadecomponents.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/360003928291-Product-Setup-Fit-Installation-Information
