So many of the people in that town were very upset about it. That was when they started to buy Ford products for a while until GM North Star Cadillac came out and jumped ship to it from Ford’s Lincoln Towncar. Not so sure about the rest of the town’s folks. This was the 80s, so people bought cars that reflected personal images more than now and probably avoided any GM products. I grew up in an era when GM products were good. I'm thinking of cars like the Buick regal or Pontiac Trans Am to a Grand Prix. Not so much Grand Prix or Grand AM’s interior reminds you. But I think GM could be making a second comeback after all! I believe their Buick division is on fire in the Chinese Market, and Chevrolet Volt has been consistently on most people’s minds as a car to own. He'll I'm interested.
