thank you so much for this amazing opportunity, it was so much fun and i can't wait to continue learning and hopefully pass soon!
Good luck with that, you just need to be more calm and everything will work
Best of luck! A little more confidence and you'll pass that test easily 😉
Thank you for taking part and good luck with your test! Keep us updated.
You got this Esme!
Taking tests isn't easy, doubly so when on camera. 😌 Follow the feedback, build your confidence, and you'll do just fine. 👍

Overcoming driving anxiety = passing Test
I love this. I'm gonna keep this saying in my head when I start my lessons again up to my practical as I've just passed my theory test, I am pretty nervous and scared and stressed because I just wanna do the best I can and pass. I've been putting all my effort and sweat blood and tears into all the hard work and I know how to drive but I'm still so nervous because it's been years since I last had lessons and even my instructor said I'm really good. So I'm gonna keep this saying what you said in my head every day up until I pass 🙂
@@kelly.30 good luck!
My instructor bailed on me a few weeks before the test, said I wasn't ready?...was really upset...but I took the test anyway in my own car!! No faults, 1st Time Pass... just after more money, probably 😂... Good luck!!

I feel for her. My anxiety was the biggest obstacle when I was learning to drive. It's so rewarding when you overcome it though.
Me too. I took over a year to pass my driving test, mainly because of anxiety holding me back.
My driving anxiety was so bad to the point where I felt i would never be able to drive..
Each time I was behind the steering wheel my vision would get terribly foggy and I was uncontrollably day dreaming about the worst scenarios... I was so anxious and felt like I wasn't even in my body anymore.
Thank lord I could finally overcome this after a year, got my license and now I would say I really enjoy driving!
how did you overcome it i’m having the same problem
@@eleanormoran6223 what i did was to rewire my brain. I needed to understand that I could take my time to execute manoeuvres, like emerging etc. I took some extra seconds if needed, just to get used to the movements. You should not rush to do anything on the road because you have time. Take your time, breath and remember you are in control of your vehicle. Once you keep on practising, you will get at ease, and you will be able to be quicker with doing any manoeuvres while still being safe.
Also I drove in an automatic car for a few lessons just to focus on the driving itself and not having to worry about the car stalling or getting the wrong gear.
When I got better at just driving, I went back to the manual to focus on learning how to drive safely, while managing gears.
Take baby steps to get more comfortable in the driving seat and you will slowly conquer your fears.
Also, please never take the honkings personally.. let these people be mad because they also were learners at some point, and now it's your time be learn.
That slurping sound from pin drinking tea would put me off lmao
I couldn't quite believe it
Just passed my test yesterday with 1 minor! HUGE thanks to your channel and your ultimate driving course. Your videos have really helped improve my driving a lot!
Congratulations 🙂 Wishing you all the best on your freedom! 🚗
These videos are so helpful for me as someone who’s learning to drive he gives good analysis of driving and he’s not harsh on the drivers
So sad. Nerves can be a nasty thing. It can make or break your driving performance. I wish Esme the best on her test. I'm sure she'll do great. 💓
I passed my driving test yesterday with absolutely no driving faults. I just came here to say thank you for the content you provide for free. It's helped me a lot, especially since I was taking my test in my own car. I honestly cannot recommend your channel more! Thank you for everything you do to help learner drivers!
I’m happy to announce that I passed my test today with 7 minors. A huge thank you for your content. It really helped me pass today!
Now I can happily join the “passed but still watching” gang😂
Joined the passed and still watching club last Friday! These videos, along with conquer driving, really are so useful in understanding the dos and don'ts
Congratulations on passing your test and thank you for supporting both channels.
I passed my test first time back in June but I still watch these and love the idea of doing one of these and seeing how well I'd do given I'm no longer driving in a way to be "test ready"
Hats off to Esme. I know the feeling of nerves exactly. I'm the same sometimes in my lessons and trying to work on it before my test in July. Pin, you're so calm and patient. Your videos have really helped me. Thank you.
Joined the passed but still watching club! Passed on Wednesday first time with one just one driving fault (still don’t believe that!)
This channel was definitely a big help, especially coming up towards the actual test day. It was great watching these mock tests to learn what examiners may be looking out for ❤
Congrats 🔥
Finally can say I’ve joined the passed and still watching club! 🎉🎉 I really focused on these videos after my first attempt and massively improved through watching and I passed on Friday on my second attempt! I was a very nervous driver until it clicked one random lesson 😊 Keep going at it, you’ll get there!
Congratulations! 🙂 Wishing you all the best on your freedom 🙏
Well done, I'm still learning but struggling maintaining a good speed, hoping it will click too, I want to pass in less than infinity tries if I can.
Enjoy zey freedom
Can you teach me driving?
Congratulations, I passed yesterday myself.
Hopefully Esme can pass in April 😊
i do agree with your video title, take your time with everything such as junctions when driving and try to not stress during your uk driving test.
8:47 hooray 😊
Esme will need some more practice on the road and she will pass.
I have my actual test tomorrow and didn't know you could stop to take a minute half way through that's really useful. I don't normally get stressed but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least slightly apprehensive 😂 your videos have been helping so fingers crossed!
You and me both. We got this.
Update: How did it go for you guys? I passed today with 3 minors
I have test on Friday... I m also stressed at last moment.
I’d recommend when the examiner asks you to pull over, ask if you can take some time before pulling off again. I did this during my test and it allowed me to stay really calm.
@@nobininfopass3130 I also have my test on friday, Good luck on your test!
you've got this!! i was so nervous doing this but, i just relaxed during the drive and ended up having fun lol
I understand your feelings so much, Esme. I struggle with my confidence and I've been told to stop saying sorry before.
Past my driving test on Tuesday and I found all of your videos useful and it really did help me along with my driving! Thanks
Well done on passing your test
Passed yesterday with two minors! Watching the videos helped a lot thank you. (:
Just passed my driving test today thank you so much for your channel your Video really helpful ❤️
I've only just turned 17, not even got a provisional license. But this is helping me understand before I have any knowledge. I feel like I might get stressed during it, so I'm a bit nervous but knowing you can take a minute really helps.
Practice makes perfect, good luck in your future test
Hooray!!! Is back🤣🤣🤣
Past two weeks ago first time I used ultimate driving and watched your videos and some that are in my area Milton Keynes. Now joined the still watching club
Congratulations on passing your test and welcome to the DGN Alumni
Passed my test with 1 minor today. Your videos are great and you pick up the subtle faults people make. Great to watch this channel when learning. Thanks Pin!
Congratulations on passing your test and thank you for watching the channel
She was cool. Good good luck in April 👍
ty !!
I've just passed my test, on automatic, first time with only 3 minors! Thank you so much dgn/pin binning you've been a big help, jazakallah,I wish you all the success in the future, carry on doing what you're doing brother, you do it the best. Keep practicing it CAN be done! 🙏👍
Passing automatic isn't that much of an achievement
That desi way of drinking chai wah wah wah, thank you soo much for the videos, I have got my test tomorrow 😀 lots of lucks needed!
the way she kept saying sorry is so relatable 😅😂
I passed my test aged 30. Then 6 years later I had a brain haemorrhage and my licence was revoked for 10 years. DVLA GP's gave me my licence back and no retest required, I am at a loss but your videos are helping so much Pin thank you. Maybe one day I will drive again.
Lmfao the chapter titled "Hooray" 🤣
Thank you for your amazing videos, they really helped me calm my nerves down
:)
Thank you watching the channel, I'm glad the videos helped.
Driving anxiety is something that went away after i passed my Driving test. I used to be so nervous before driving. I remember giving myself pep talks before my driving lessons. With time those nerves have completely vanished, and i'm now calm while driving.
Yeah been experiencing this too, lowkey interested in driving rn haha
I hope see passes her driving test, i passed mine 2 day's ago with 3 hours of lesson's with an instructor, good thing is i drive a motorbike so it was quite easy for me to relax and do my stuff pom/msm checks especially the life changing check over ur shoulder before you move over, anyway good luck 🏆
Hi Actually your videos is really useful And I learn a lot from your videos thank you so much I passed my driving test two years ago❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching the channel
Officially part of the passed crew, thanks to DGN for the tips and videos. Passed Friday with 3 minors
Well done on passing your test and thank you for watching the channel
I myself a driving instructor. And I always ask my students to watch your videos in their spare time.
Thank you for watching and recommending the channel. Much appreciated
Wanted to drop a comment to say I failed my first 2 tests on my way back to the test center because nerves always got the better of me.
I passed last August, but I still watch your videos.
Nerves are completely normal, and anyone who is anxious - take it from me: it's normal. Relax, take a breath. You'll be absolutely fine.
Congrats
I fully relate to Esme. I failed my test more times than I'd like to admit, due to one thing - test anxiety. I'm not an anxious person, and driving in general was near perfect. It was the pressure of the test that got to me. Now I'm a driver of 2 years! You've got this!
Sounds like a you problem, get better kids
@@cptayne???
I think I was more stressed and anxious in the days and hours leading up to it, the worst being the couple of hours before instructor picks you up when you need to eat but struggle to get food down.
I felt okay walking out of the test centre with examiner though and the drive was relaxed, got annoyed with pulling over 5 times though.
@cptayne schizophrenia?
Thanks for all your videos which made me to pass my test today with 2 minors and it is my second attempt 🙏
Congratulations on passing your test and thank you for watching the channel
I had like a weird feeling in my stomach due to nerves and anxiety before the test on the day. But after a good chat with the examiner and a few smacks at myself and shaking, I managed to get rid of any stress like a minute or so into the test :)
Whenever she gets those nerves under control she will pass easily. For someone that nervous she actually did very good. Normally when someone is that nervous everything goes wrong. Put some more hours in, build that confidence and she will be fine. Also a really nice well raised girl!
Yeah, I agree and I've had the same nerves and confidence things after not driving for like 3 years but trying to get back into it now. And yeah I think she's got nice manners and it's cool because she's from an area not far from me and nice to see people like this who are local, refreshing from the people you encounter online etc
thank you so much!! this is so lovely of you to say:)
Hey I just wanted to say that I passed first time with 3 minors last Thursday.
Your videos helped a lot. Thank you!
Well done on passing your test and I'm happy the videos helped
I could feel the nerves in this one I'm so much like her 😆 when the test ended I started cracking my knuckles and noticed she does the same thing🤣
His face every time they hit the curb XD
I've been driving for over 10 years now, passed when i was 17. But, i find this stuff so interesting to watch
I passed six years ago but not driven loads in total compared to most people my age but just been sorting getting a car etc for the last month or two and going to start driving more soon after not driving for like 3 years and having a few refresher lessons in the last few months. I watch this channel and a few others because it helps my confidence and also I can see what to avoid or put my opinion in the comments sometimes :) I wonder how much some instructors have to pay in wheel refurbs per year
@@Stallzyx my best advise to you going back into driving again is, don't concentrate on what other drivers want you to do, but only on yourself. So many times drivers tailgate, aggressively drive etc.. if you try to follow what they do, you'll end up worse off.
I drive roughly 150-200 miles a day in my job (I'm a plumber) the main thing to ensure is you keep all observations of what's going on around. There's no such thing as a "confident" driver. Each scenario is different. As long as concentration is there, you can nullify most instances.
But, good on you getting the refresher done. It's always good to go back out with someone just to get the feel of the road again!
Well, I believe I've seen 3 videos on here where they curb the car.. and his reaction is always eyes shut and deep breath! For us it's humourous but I can imagine he slightly dies inside.
I do find he's quite a fun instructor and very informative. I'd love to go out on a drive with him to see how many faults I get.. but he's Birmingham and I'm Bristol 😅
She has the basics of the vehicle understood. To be test ready I'd say she needs to at least double the amount of hours she's put in.
Watching videos like this makes me unconfident in my skills. I passed 6 months ago and have been driving daily but I know if I took a test today it would be riddled with serious faults. On the routes I know I'm ok, but driving on an unfamiliar route I make so many mistakes; and as recent as yesterday I had a few near misses that made me shrink in my seat to avoid angry glares. I've driven 3500 miles without incidents (except curbing my front tire in the first week), but just things like checking mirrors early and understanding lanes at junctions really makes me nervous but I honestly don't think about it behind the wheel. I would do more lessons if they didn't incur a mortgage.
I've got my first mock test in a couple weeks and the real thing at the end of March!
Can't believe I watched because of how gorgeous I think she looks
But yeah good vid
I'll be watching more of yours
passed my test the other day just by watching your videos
Congratulations on passing your test
Pin I think a back window camera would be useful for moments like 14:14
I'm watching these to get more knowledge for my drivers test tomorrow| this is the next day I passed my test I think this is a big part why
Hope it went well
Gave a update almost forgot to you reminded me to Thanks
Well done on passing your test, I'm so happy for you
Hello Pin, love your videos, they are very very helpful! I was wondering when would you have automatic driving lesson? Thank you so much, God bless you 😊
cracked me up how he was like "luckily I wasn't drinking my tea," paused and causually and slowly went for a long sip
Aww I feel bad for her I feel the same
I get mad anxiety and stressed easily too so I completely sympathies with her. I have my test next month and I'm so worried I'll be a nervous wreck. 😂
Good luck with your test
"You dont need to keep apologising" ... "sorry" I feel so bad for her she was so nervous
I passed my test yesterday, 2nd attempt with few minors. I can officially join passed but still watching club 😊
Congratulations on passing your test and welcome to the DGN Alumni
Good job, just need some small improvements and I'm sure you'll smash your test :)
Bless her she’s such a lovely girl
I learned to drive in a 2014 Audi A4 with some sort of sport package. That thing had the sharpest brakes I've ever felt on a car. I literally inched my foot forwards as slowly as possible and it would just not grab until it felt like it fully engaged. Maybe the brakes were wrongly adjusted, but I could not stop smoothly in that car. Every other car I've driven since then (Opel Agila A, BMW E39, Fiat Punto, Opel Corsa C, Volkswagen Tiguan) have had atleast half as sharp brakes... It's an awful feeling to have brakes like that.
I feel ya , I feel stressed everytime i drive too @.@
HOORAYYYYYYY
I would love so much to take part of one of this tests ,but I already have my driving licence ,but it would be a very nice experience ❤️
Stop trying to gain clout. Just watch the video.
Gosh. Women ☕️.. they'll do anything for attention these days
I can’t drive in silence, sitting in traffic with an examiner and no convo or music sounds like my idea of hell 😅
I aint good at small talk but when theres silence at a red light and i feel the examiner looking at me from my peripheral vision it gets awkward for me xD
Mines in April so i'm hoping to passs first time, but these videos really help me improve and i have become so confident in my driving so i feel like i'm ready.
Good luck, you've got this. 🔥💪👍
@@barnaclehead8778 thank youuu ❤
Good luck with your test
How did u book?cant find any dates
@@sarahshahzad9071 I've heard that there's a higher chance of finding cancellations early in the morning. If that doesn't work, maybe try look at apps/websites that use software to find a cancellation and can book for you, like speedy tests. These do come with a cost though, also I haven't tried them myself so do your own digging to see if they're reliable.👍
‘Oh my gosh I’m so sorry,’
‘You don’t need to keep saying you’re sorry-‘
‘Sorry…’ 😂😂😂
it's just how i am 🤷🏻♀️
What a sort ❤
You know when you’re serious in driving when you recognise all the famous instructors in CZcams 😅 🙋🏻♀️
I passed 2 weeks ago and found its a different driving world when you pass lol good luck everyone
Well done on passing your test
Jeeezz…This “HOORAY” woman caught me off guard. I thought finally she’s been edited out of it 😂😂
Hits the curb...damn that was expensive fault :D
Tip: when in traffic for more than 5-10 seconds put the car in neutral, if needed apply the parking brake but jesus don't put so much strain on the clutch hahahhaa
She’s beautiful
I think I was intimidated by the silence of the tester at my test too!
Everyones same wen learning
Nice video
Omg, beware the hurray woman!!! 9:14
The slurping 😂 sllllluuuurrrrp
Thanks i am fram Sweden
Hooorayy!!! Bring out the meme.
I don't think driving into a roundabout at 3rd gear should be a fault on its own if done safely. Those roads were open and clear. Giving a fault for that alone is the equivalent of giving a fault only because the driver had one hand on the wheel. They could be seen as advisory points instead.
8:45 there's a good chance that this might happen on my test as it is at 4:26pm (evening rush hour) near Heathrow Airport.
what really annoys me about the test, if that when you commit a serios fault. the test still goes on. the test should be over at that point, especially if the driver knows what they did to get that fault. its just torture carrying on, when you know you have failed
@ 5:09 - Those slurps are HILARIOUS 🤣🤣🤣
Passed my test 2 days ago and nearly failed because I was so stressed. Stalled once because I rushed off the clutch too quickly due to panicking. Managed to grab that pass though as I dealt with it correctly
Congratulations on passing your test
17:26 Pin holding the laugh in 😂😂🤣🤣
One of the chapters is Hooooraaaayyyy 😂
Passed my test yesterday!!
Nice
Lol bloody hell mate you drink tea loudly heard that all the way here in Reading lol
Really enjoy the videos and content. What car do you have?
Damn, Wolverhampton, I'm in London. it would have been an amazing help to do one of these.
TBC!
Awesome videos! Very helpful! What camera & mount do you use?
Thank you, I use GoPro equipment
Passed couple days ago🎉
She so sweet lol
Brah when I was taking lessons I was just touching the brakes it was so sharp I told him I aint taking no test in this shite
2 gearnear the roundabout ?? Why so if its clear you just contin in 3rd. No need to select different gear.
Hey Pin. My instructor tells me to check only the front two windows as my blind spots. However, I’m worried that examiners would expect me to check all four windows! What are your thoughts on this? Shall I tell my instructor something?
