It doesn't convince me, i see it as a pay to win with an average gameplay that's a pure grind, kinda like the Heroes & Generals.
It's not pay to win as I've payed a decent little bit on the game I lose a lot and I win a lot it really is based on your team but the premiums definetly help you in the way of grinding so it's pay to get ahead.
It’s a pay to win I started playing in early days of enlisted pre merge and it still crap hell now you can buy engines with assault weapons and have access to the full building wheel.

Have you ever go up against tigers? Just two of them can kill anything you throw at. They adsorb damage to ridiculous level. I have seen whole teams throw tnt, death pack on it’s ass, building at guns, to even bazookas, nothing puts a fucking dent in the damn thing. That’s just one tiger God help you if it’s two.

The vehicle combat is superb, favorite part of the game by far. Hunting tanks is really fun and flying is a joy once you get some decent planes and controls you like.
imagine a game, which is just about vehicle gameplay

Yeah Lone fighters is just for custom games now. However, there are heavily populated servers in custom games at all times and with as many people as there are in these servers you get full xp
Anyone seeing the pricetag should jut play easy red 2 instead imo, way better animations and ai for CHEAPER WITH Mod support too and a better map/mission maker.

I've played 3 years Enlisted and last year I've quit the game, but after seeing with Bad and Negative Reviews, definetly not going back to play it. C'mon even War Thunder that is a F2P with Bundles, Premium and Battle Passes has better reviews than Enlisted, curiously both games from Gaijing. One Free and the Other Cash Grab

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like tier system, but it could just be a "mad cause bad" thing, but I hate wanting to use an M1 garand, and being punished and put into matches with tiger 2s where no one on my team has the weapons or vehicles that are able to take them out
As someone who maxed out the Pacific, Tunisia, Stalingrad and Moscow Campaigns, the merge killed this game for me last year, your not alone, it used to be great, there was always grind, but before it a actually felt worth it, now it's just pay to win garbage with extra grind that only pay off for nazbols

There are BR systems in the game so you don't face them when you can't kill them.
Hmm weird they added a 60€ bundle as well and now both the 20 and 60€ bundle are gone and not available for purchase they deleted the release announcements from twitter as well recent event & announcements from steam.

@@fatguylittlestream why..? I started playing this game for the first time a month ago. It has a beautiful grind/progression system, where u can choose to stay in low level combat or choose to fight end game ww2 where you die without anything you can do.
It’s arcadey but the progression system makes you rly fear the military industrial complex. It plays really well, and the game has a hidden message teaching you about the horror of military tech advancements.
It’s my fav game I’ve played in the past 12 years on console and I haven’t spent $1 on it

Steam takes a cut of profits, so they were trying to force the player base to not use steam.
They still offered it for free to everyone tho…

Imma just mention my thoughts in no paticular order lol.
Im fine with dispersion on automatic weapons, as they are designed to be used up close u dont really notice any deviation, only noticiable when using at a less effective range that would be suited for other weapons.
I could kinda get around this when i mained berlin, but other maps are just open fields. (now i gotta learn them cause of merge lol)
I also think that one of the best parts about enlisted is the little "fu" battles that happen, you kill a player, he knows where u are, u know he knows where you are, and hes gonna try and get you after he swaps to another dude, it makes for some of the most intense fights across all of your troops till one has to respawn, sooooo much fun.
I think that the non-casual ammo thing is ok for enlisted, pretty fun. Though maybe it should be told a little more to new players. Also not sure whether its a serious enough game to display the state of all like 5ish maybe more depending on backpack mags.
yea the ai are unreal lmao, always driving me up the wall how fast they can die.
I have beef with tanks and planes, "good" tank players will greyzone camp, basically far away so you cant sneak up on them cause its not in your boundaries, meaning the couters are, a realy good/lucky you didnt get shot snipe from a shape charge, another tank, or a plane. My beef is basically that in a game marketed as a fps you shouldnt HAVE to go into a plane or tank to counter them. Maybe just scatter a bunch of aa guns around 4 ppl to use, and make the zone that tanks can go smaller so you cant sit at back of map. litterally thats the whole change. Theirs nothing more frustrating in this world than watching an entire ai squad get killed by a single tank he shell from bloody narnia.
Idk whether im just used to the movement, but i really like it. In my eyes, the movement perfectly encapsulates the balance between goofy arcade shooter and wwii shooter. The sprint speed is fast, can get to places, storm buildings and reposition fast, but the walking and ads is a bit slower for when engaging in fights, tho tbf the ads time is relativley speeking quick so you dont have to be hardscoped to kill ppl. (also fully accurate hipfire but with no reticle just gotta eyeball) I guess enlisted was my first ever fps, but like any other game i guess you'd just get used to the movement.
tbf the vault is a ittle jank.
as for the overall movement and aiming, i generally just hard rush ppl and noscope (really satisifying with a bolt action) and my aim is a bit flicky, so combine flicky aim with fast/weightless/slight jank vault movement, id call the experince enlisted, cannot think of any other game like it and 4 me thats ok.
I feel like out of all game i play, enlisted i really dont rely on sound as much, probs cause its such a comotion going on.
progresion is progresion, never saw it a laberous but as the game is free (unless that changed) i cant complain to much if the f2p grind is a little grindy, companies need to stay afloat and id rather that than 100% p2w. Yes their are like one maybe two squads in each tech tree that are p2w, but considering im at br of 5 without spending a cent and i dont get folded by premiums every round id say its ok. when i think of the amount of times i die to poor balancing of a core mechanic vc a p2w thing, its often just the poor balancing of mechanics therefore id say enlisted isnt tooo p2w.
I get folded by greyzone camping tanks and the cursed artillery/moarters/bombers.
Really dont think moarters deserve a place in enlisted, ive been killed 15-20 seconds in by the little shits too many times, no way to really balance it. Artillery i guess they could make the area larger but the shell locations random, decreasing the density of strike. Cause arty now is like dropping a mini nuke on a small building. Bomber squads are fine if got a way to dedal with it, like scattering more aa around the map.
Thing is with accelerated research, in theory their is a br system, though i think that they should cange it from 1-3 and 3-5 cause the range is too large, so in theory all your paying for is to get the the next bracket faster, not to shit on someone earlier cause you got a thing earlier. Alot of the p2w stuff mentioned mentiones getting stuff quicker, which i dont have a problem with for a f2p game.

@mads.m1213 I'd say that it's a game with very high highs and low lows, sometimes I gace teams greyzone camping, artillery, morters, and I just leave the match. But when that's not happening it's fun.
Edit: I.do play at top br I'd have to get on my alt to see what bolt actions are like in current state. B4 the merge I'd play a bolt action only account on Berlin which was a fun challenge, bolt actions are definitely a viable weapon but they just don't slaughter large amounts of people lying fully auto. So if new may seem a little unfair till you get more assaulter class

If you go to gaijin or console you can still snag it for free
And this spells things out perfectly. The Thompson 100 is the only pay to win squad in the entire game. Nothing else is. But regardless, you still have to be ABLE to utilize the tommy 100s or that squad is good as useless. It's all skill.

This is a casual game not a milsim...it's meant to be shorter matches than say Hell Let Loose..I play it thru the Gaijan launcher where I have been playing it for FREE so why did they make it $20 on Steam? as far as his comment om pay to win...Pay to advance would be a better term...you can speed up the grind immensely, you can play this free with no issue...as he said weapons do one tap....and you are set in tiered battles...the only advantage is cutting down the grind

wrong, game is pay to win AND pay to progress stop simping, even at BR 2 a premium player with enough money spent can sit in the grey zone with tanks and planes the ENTIRE game...premium players can buy/unlock up to 6 vehicle squads where free players only get 1...not to mention having extra squad slots is pay to win, premium guns some are pay to win absolutely, premium squads are pay to win also some of the premium vehicles offer gameplay and tactics that aren't available to free players...paratroopers with 100 round magazine thompsons are almost 50 bucks...free? No paratroopers at all for free and the best thompson you can get for free has only 50 bullets and isn't as nice...
@@laurenquintero3434 The game is not paid to win nor play to progress, I have about 24 hours on the game, and I have tier 4 guns and vehicles, the progression in the game is not too hard, it gives the player something to grind for and the BR system helps with you not having to face guns or vehicles that are OP for your BR. The premium squads may have some better weapons or vehicles but I find them to not be too different from normal free-to-play players, I can still kill them like any other player, it just depends on the player's kill. And I don't know what you're going on about free-to-play players not having the same gameplay as premium players, the one and only time I can think of a premium player having different gameplay is for the airborne squads, which just let you jump off a plane and land in the battlefield.

99% of premium stuff is a worst version of what you can get in the tech tree.
There is only a single premium squad that completely busted is the american paratrooper, that shit is just peak bullshit. other than that, people that buy premium squad are looking for uniqueness. For example the premium tank squad Calliope or Panzerwerfer, those two arent really strong when fighting free tech tree stuff like Panzer 4 or Sherman.

I acyually do love this game. The grind do is severe, but it gives it a nice feeling of acomplishment in some cases, imo. The gameplay is satisfying, and although the bots are dumb they serve as a great tool for the player in capturing, diversifying equipment, fast spawning, and others. It had completely replaced LoL in my life. My biggest complaind are the prices, they do are excessive.
I agree on most points. Game-play feels weightless indeed, weapons feels more like toys. But on the other hand, it doesn't cost you anything, so can't really complain much.

I have about 10 hour in HLL, but 550 (1355 battles) in Enlisted, mybe i can be your man.....
In conclusion, I hate it more than I like it, and I prefer not to recommend it than yes.
It would be need a negative review (Steam) wave, like for the War Thunder in 2023.
What is the Enlisted? : Its War Thunder "substitute". The gunplay is okey, but the infantry is not the protagonist. Its not an infantry centric game!!!! Tanks camping in the grey zone, and plane spam...
Other critical problems:
- Unbalanced, specifically optimized for losing streaks match making (may be familiar to players WOT and WT players). Booster on - losing streak. A lot of times you get disproportionately bad battles. Impossible to win or you rush. You'll just get a little XP at the end anyway.
- Plane and tank centric game. Yes, ussualy 2+2 player spam the tank (from grey zone) and plane. These players with normal infantry ussualy noobs. In progression the tanks and planes become stronger and stronger (againt the infantry), but infantry don't get stronger weapons against them. (The legendary Flak 88 not included...)
- Its a "push" game. It's useless to be tactical.
- The grind became meaningless: after the merge, the tier 2 is "golden", the high tier game play is trash. The game is too "dense". To many automatic weapon, OP tank, plane with mega bombs. Total bullshit.
The new or rarely used account got bots and enjoyable battles, but if you "use" the game daily, you suck.

I started playing this game 3 years ago I've seen it go from one thing to the other I've seen the Nerf the anti-tank grenade into being almost useless I made it to over level 15 with every campaign for just the axis but the worst thing of all is when they took out the ability to change your map and your campaign they matched all my squads and all my units together I had over 80 squats and over 200 infantrymen how the f*** was I supposed to manage any of that I'd be there for weeks so I'm done with enlisted I've seen them change so much unnecessary things and yet the one biggest gripe of mine in the game still remain throughout the entire 3 years I've played it you have your sights directly on your target you pull the trigger you know it's going to hit and yet it misses
Been on it.for 2 days now. movement is clunky. Gunplay is ok. The.grind to get to the good stuff is real. Dont expect a polished smooth game. But hey its free.

To me the movement feels clunky because it’s as though it was designed as a third person game with your character rendered in the world. Then it’s like they decided to make it a first person game last minute and put the camera down in the characters head. So instead of feeling like you’re controlling a camera with deliberate movements…you’re controlling a body with the camera placed on it. As opposed to a game like HLL (or good feeling FPS games) where the movement feels pretty good. That’s because in HLL you ARE the camera. So all the controls are very precise and deliberate.
Hell let Loose and enlisted are completely and entirely different games don't know why you're comparing games that don't even try to be the same thing. That's like comparing call of duty to pixel gun 3d

This game used to be excellent back before the merge last year, went from one of my favorites to uninstalled and hidden from the game list out of disgust, now even EASY RED II is a better game, let alone HLL
First time playing it today. It's kinda unfinished. My controller isn't broken when I get down and try to aim my character moves and messes up my aim

You can successfully play Enlisted as a free to play game, especially with the free events every so often. If you enjoy it and play often I recommend picking up the battlepass (which gives you back the gold invested) and a year of premium when it is half off. As for the game, its the most fun I have had in a FPS since Battlefield 1. I love the Infantry vs tanks vs planes combat. Also for new players: get the Engineer first, it is the most vital thing to have in any game, because it can build rally points. It also earns you a ton of XP.

Just play through the Gajin client. Yes they messed up with steam launch, but they already halted it and posted an apology. Hopefully they will reflect on their mess up. The steam release is in early access, it is written on the steam page and in the original post on the enlisted website.
And like most other early access builds, you have to pay to get in, that's it, i will have a normal free release in the future.
How is it early access when you can already get into it for free?
Steam TOS states developers are not supposed to use early access to fund core development of that client, if they don't already have the funding to finish development they shouldn't be selling access with the promise that development will be finished if certain sale numbers are met...game is a pay to win cash grab period don't defend them or argue unless you are a Gaijin simp

As soon as I heard this game will come out in 2021(?) I bought the early access version. Great fun for a few hours, but man is the shooting cheesy. But tanks are great (duh).

The Springfield has a terrible sfx. The whole game is very frustrating not least because the stupid, and I do mean STUPID, AI will get in your way and run about when you try to be covert or stand still ... giving easy kills to the enemy side. It is so frustrating. So the Ai is, as the narrator says, very very very very very stupid. It ruins the game. I played this a good while but have given up and gone to HLL, Squad and Squad 44. If you want a mindless romp with fun and a lot of frustration, this is the game for you.

this game is severely irritating, I was flying a LaGG3-11 last night & was passed head to head by a He123 or whatever that german bi-plane is. & literally 1 second later he shot me down. how is this possible? he turned the entire plane in 1 sec, nah. there are so many other issues, yes AI is artificial & tremendously UnIntelligent. shot through brick walls, stone walls with rifle calibre projectiles. too many to list but you mentioned a lot of the stuff that pisses me off. I do dislike the fact that US Army Divisions that fought in the Pacific (21 total & many Separate Inf. Regts.) are fighting in Normandy, the multitude of Divisions & Infantry Regiments (3 belonging to each of these Divisions, "Triangle Organization") the variety is what appealed to me to begin with.

The video never really touched on the vehicles and combined arms gameplay, which is what I think Enlisted does best with compared to other shooters with combined arms gameplay. Tanks, planes, motorbikes, and APCs can all be used by players. Flight feels quite realistic rather than what you get with the jets in battlefield. Planes and tanks massively effect the infantry battle without feeling overpowered or underpowered, and also create a niche for anti tank infantry squads to deal with. You can't choose to only play vehicles, so even vehicle players still have to be able to play infantry. All the weapons and armor are relatively realistic historical weapons that somehow end up as a balanced player experience. The planes and tanks take significant amounts of skill to master, but aren't so hard they they are unfun or too difficult to learn. Overall the vehicles and their integration with the game is probably my favorite part of the game itself, and it blows every single other combined arms shooter I have ever played completely out of the water.
Other notable opinions about the game:
-Another part of the game the video didn't really mention was the building mechanic with engineers. Engineers allow players to place down(and destroy if they belong to an enemy) spawn points, emplacement weapons like machine guns, anti air guns, anti tank field cannons, ammo boxes, sandbag walls, barb wire, and tank hedgehogs, all of which gives players a lot of power to affect the flow of a battle. Overall a very good and well implemented mechanic. It allows for strategic gameplay without feeling too bogged down by its implementation or too arcade-y.
-The bad AI is a feature, not a negative, it makes the player feel epic getting to shoot down entire groups of enemies, it makes the battle feel much more populated, you don't have to worry about the AI constantly annihilating you at every turn BUT they are still a threat, especially with automatic weapons, and they give the player varied combat capability with every single squad since you can switch between them for your active soldier and they can all be specialized for different roles, which is great game design.
-The aim can be a bit of a pain with lower tier automatic weapons, but that can be fixed by leveling up the soldier and getting the recoil perks, high tier automatic weapons are generally even better and can be incredibly effective with those perks. Generally around BR 3, or halfway through the tree, the automatic weapons improve substantially. They are still excellent at short ranges early on, and later on are effective when fired full auto pretty much out to rifle range in some cases, such as the STG.
-The grind isn't terrible, you can get to the highest tier weapons of a branch of the tree in about a week or two as a free player so long as you choose one nation's army and stick with it, and even if you don't have them, you will be placed only against enemies who have similarly powerful tiered weapons and the rifle gunplay, which is basically every squad's filler weapons until high tier end game loadouts, is still quite fun and satisfying. Silver currency grinding being slow is actually being addressed by the company right now, likely to coincide with the steam launch, making it a bit easier to kit out the soldiers with weapons and gear.
The P2W is certainly there, but its not as intrusive as the video makes it sound. Getting the subscription for extra vehicle squads is worth it if you like vehicles like I do, but its not necessary if you mainly prefer infantry and you can still play one vehicle slot(~1 in every 4 spawns) without it. Most of the premium squads are strong, but not overly so, and they are generally limited in one way or another by their composition not being ideal, and the game constantly has events where you can earn squads with the same relative power by playing the game for free, such as the engineer squad event happening now. You can pay for progression, but that's basically pointless if you enjoy the game anyways.
-The movement is actually quite good in that it feels grounded, you aren't infinitely sprinting, you aren't instantly able to fire your weapon when you are, the distances to move across feel fine for the speed you move, and you can climb and mantle just about everything, but it leaves you vulnerable while doing so. Overall it is excellent compared to most enhanced movement modern shooters that get lost in the movement in that aspect.
The environments are quite good, the sound effects aren't hyper cinematic like some games, but that's a nitpick. Maps feel good and fair for the most part, although a couple are a bit biased. Distances to move and firing lines are balanced well around the weapons and vehicles. There is plenty of variation between maps. Some parts of the map are destructible while some aren't, which is good for vehicle gameplay but doesn't just turn the map into a pile of rubble.
Overall its currently my favorite shooter on the market. I have played for about a year and a half now. Its free as well on its official site, so give it a few games to try even if you aren't sure you will like it.

Never played battlefield, but I can tell you that Enlisted it a good game in which you can be a free-to-play player and still have as good of a time as any premium player.
@@Clay_-zh5ol literally. And the game is nothing like battlefield. For one, the only way you can one shot in battlefield is with a rifle headshot, while every weapon in enlisted can one shot, whether headshot or not

Long story short, Enlisted is a good game I would highly recommend, the game is also free on their website so get it from there. 8/10 Game highly recommend it.
