    Thank you guys.
This video isreally great. Especially the pieces of advice given, all that clarification about Geological field and specialization. I've learned something from it.
I wanted to know though, is there any different between environmental a Geologist and an Hydrogeologist ?

i studied a bsc between 2018-2020 majoring in physical geography and after 3 years working in town planning/land surveying (as a technican) I am considering maybe going back to school to do a Msc in Geology or some other geoscience. A job that has me exploring new places and being physical is important for me :) so maybe an exploration geologist could be the way to go.. Im 24! 😂😊 working in the urban planning/consultancy industry was very draining haha

To my surprise, I spent all my time behind a computer as an exploration geologist in the oil and gas industry! I wanted to be outdoors more but I still enjoyed the work so I could overlook that bit, especially with periodic field courses.

Hi I want to say thanks for your video. Im wondering you can help to make the situation a bit more clear for me, I have no bachelor degree in science unfortunately, but I’m in love with this job life
i got my visa working holiday in Australia I’m planning to join a mine next month
do you know if it’s possible to start as a geologist assistant or labourer or something, just be in you know, having a start somewhere other than the 3 years bachelor
 thanks for your answer

Hello Mi. I can't speak specifically to the mining side because I lack experience there. However, in the oil & gas side, there are absolutely opportunities for people without Bachelor degrees. Many of the so called "rig hands" are able to start work with a high school degree. I encourage you to reach out to Brice Callahan. He is an excellent resource! www.linkedin.com/in/brice-callahan-2a12491a4/
