the powercreep in pokemon is so real, regigigas got the worst ability in the game for having high stats but miraidon just **gets** a free boost to all of its moves and can set up terrain in a single turn

Totally agree. I'll even take Pick-Up as an ability for Regigigas just give it another ability other than Slow Start.

yep. 3 turns should do it. which means 2 turns if you protect turn 1. It could really help Regigigas gain some usage and finally be good.

how to make regigis good with 2 abilities. 1. give it an ability that buffs other regis on the team. (similar to victory star), 2. give it stamina

My God stamina will actually make it kinda shiest. it's actually decently fast and has a pretty good movepool.
The Regi buff ability should be called Original Titan.
