Could be you’re not pinching the switch clips just right so it’s still holding the switch to the PCB. Not all the included switch pullers are so good at disengaging the clip.

My windows key broke in 2 weeks lol. It was very good tho for 2 weeks. I got full refund so that’s good. 🤷‍♂️
