How To Transform a Cake just By Changing The Topper! | Cake Decorating Tutorial

In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how I changed a cake design just by swapping out the topper! I also show you how to make a rice paper bowl topper. This topper is super simple to make. The buttercream is applied with a pallete Knife and can be done in any color scheme that you like;) I hope you enjoy this tutorial!

Lovely colour palette, and both cake toppers are great, I would have a hard time to choose which I preferred. Is there purple or blue lustre dust? I have only seen different cake designers use gold, rose gold, silver or a pearl lustre dust. If there was a purple or blue I wonder what it would be like to dust chocolate balls (like maltesers) in these colours and put a few in the bowl? Anyway, Another wonderful tutorial Mary, thanks!

Please how many hours must I leave the rice paper to dry out ? Can I also dry it on a baking paper ?

I would leave it over night to be on the safe side. I have not tried it on anything but silicone, so I honestly don't know!
