Were you at the expo this past Sunday? Have you ever been to a reptile expo? What did you pickup? Plants, animals, feeders, supplies? Let me know and as always, thanks for watching!
I was sadly not at the expo because I’m in the U.S but I did go to a reptile store. I got some crickets and mealworms.
Awwhe I missed you! We were there this past weekend and brought home a new little baby crested gecko. 😊
@@quitewoodsy Hopefully next time! Congrats on your new family member!
@@boredaf3046 Next time! Nice!
Amazing! Congratulations and awesome
name choice!
Very well done man. Your videos are such top notch productions! Great seeing you again my friend!
Thanks for the kind words my friend! As you know, if only my equipment were to match 😂! Always a joy seeing you! Many adventures to come 🤠😉🌿!
When he brought that young girl into the car park and offered her $1,000 I thought he was about to make a different kind of video but thankfully it stayed SFW especially when he made you the same offer Adam 😂
Seriously though keep up the great work both of you and if anyone knows that girl Arial's channel or insta do let us know
Adam!!! 🖤
After seeing this meet up, (Wickens, Reps and All Canadian) I am surprised to learn that Canadians can banter like the English! (always assumed you would have the same humour as the US 😬) I like Canadians 🇨🇦
@@kristin1980uk we even spell colour and other words like you guys. 23&me confirmed I am just an English guy without the accent🤣
The arachniphobe picking up the spider for his boy 10/10 friendships.
Exactly 🤙🏼
I had such a great time hanging out with you at the Expo. It was wonderful to finally meet in person, can't wait until the next expo!!
Me too! So nice to finally meet you! Looking forward to the next show!
I swear dayan has THE BEST MANNERS on YT lmao love this dude
Haha thanks so much! 🙏🏼
Agreed!
Jonathan says thanks again! He was so excited to spend time with you.
Thank you for the sweet message! The pleasure was all mine! Please say hello for me!
I love all of the Canadian Reptile CZcamsrs! Reptiliatus (of course), Wickens Wicked Reptiles and All Canadian Reptile Girl definitely top the list. They are all so genuine and seem like such nice people! Awesome seeing everyone together supporting one another. I love it 💚💚💚
Thank you for the love! 🇨🇦🦎🐍🐢🐸
You are a wonderful host! I really appreciate how respected you are in the reptile community. Getting back to the show itself, I am so happy to see how healthy the animals and plants are! You can certainly tell these breeders & rescuers take very good care of & highly respect their animals. I am especially impressed of the gentleman who breeds Tokays. If I was able to spend $1000 on the show, that uromastyx at the beginning of your clip would be mine!
Thank you for the sweet words. I do my best to show everyone love and respect! I try to be the standard I want to see in our community! Yes, it was really nice to see all the lovely animals and plants! Oooo great choice! A lot of people are talking about that Egyptian Uromastyx! They are amazing animals!
That was so cute!! You will be a great dad! You interviewed him well and kept his interest but didn't go too long so he felt like he needed a way out. That was so cool to watch!
Thank you! I look forward to hopefully being a father someday! 😊
There’s so much more diversity at Canadian shows.. or it seems that way. Even the large one in my area, Daytona National Breeders Expos are 90% leopard gecko, ball python and bearded dragon. It’s rare to find many creatures that work well in vivariums or plants to purchase.
We are very blessed!
I completely agree!
Nothing wrong with leos:(
Dayyan, thanks for another great video. Ashley, very well articulated. Thanks for all you're doing at CanHerp.
Thank you so much friend! 🙏🏼 🐢
I went to the expo and chatted with dayyan for a bit. I also picked up a beautiful male lilly white crested gecko that i hope to breed later this year
Hey brotha! So great to see you! Good luck with your exciting breeding project!
Thanks for bing so sweet, and giving my friend a chance to plug her breeding venture!
Likewise! You two are very kind and I appreciate you taking the time to say hello and chat with me/be in the video!
Have been to my first expos this year...crazy helpful venders and breeders!
It truly amazes me what kind of a community reptile keepers/breeders are. I haven't picked up anything for myself from an expo but I have helped several co-workers to find their first scale babies and loved every minute of it. I've learned so much from people at expo (as well as amazing videos like this). BIG THANK YOU!
A side note...just got a bonded pair of tokays (female is pied). My first pair of fully captive bred!
Thanks for sharing your experience! Sound wonderful!
you’re my favourite youtube channel! i love all your videos and you make me smile so much :) thank you!
Grant and his crew and the exhibitors do an amazing job. Always great show.
100%! Always a great job! Fantastic expo’
Mesmerizing. Another banger of a video, thank you!!!
Thank you so much! Thrilled you enjoyed it!
I'm going to an expo at the end of this month and I'm super excited! I haven't been to one since the end of July and it feels like it has been forever! I love expos so much! If I had $1,000 to spend at an expo, I'd probably leave with a leachie!
Awesome! Have a wonderful time!
Great footage! Thanks for offering for me to be in the video 😊 aka black rose exotics, hope to see you again soon!
Thanks my friend! I’m so appreciative of your support! It was such a pleasure meeting you! Hope to see you at the next!
Very nice video, such a great window into the Canadian herp scene.
Thank you kindly!
This was a really cool video. My parents are taking me to my first expo on my birthday and I’m so excited
Thank you so much! That’ll be so fun!
I’m hoping to see as many cool reptiles that are in this video especially a pink tongue skink.
I have never been to an animal expo of any kind. This might be my first time seeing one. Thanks for sharing. Also, seeing people converse in French is always awesome.
You should try to go to one! I think you’ll really enjoy it! Merci 😉!
@@Reptiliatus if I ever find any animal expos here where I am, I definitely will. Il n'ya pas de qoui.
Took my son to the 1pm tine and unfortunately didn't run into any of you there but was great to get back to an expo since I messed the last one and the last one I made it to was the Feb 2020.
Didn't pick up anything alive just some substrate and supplies but was a blast to see everything back again.
Hopefully catch you next time! Great event to get supplies at! Thanks for sharing’
These vids are making me want to surface again soon...almost....Haha ;) Great job!!!
Anne! I miss you so much! Hopefully we can see each other soon my friend! 😊
I adore you and Adam. Always super entertaining. I catch myself with a goofy smile consuming often. 🤭😊🤗
Also Jonathan and you were super sweet. It was neat to hear you both speaking French it's a beautiful sounding language. I need to work on being more bi lingual.
🏳️🌈❤🏳️🌈
Thank you so much for the love! I really appreciate the kind words! It’s always so joy giving to meet viewers!
Wow! I didn't know you were fluent in French. That is awesome.
Great video. Other than you, Adam, and All Canadian Reptile Girl, and Billy and Lord Elion from MC... I don't really know any Canadian youtubers. So was cool to see Canadian content creators and vendors.
Yesssss!!!! I love seeing more captive bred tokays!!!!!!!
Great Expo tour! It was nice to finally see Analieses father in a video.. Hi Ariel!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for having us in your video. It was so exciting to meet you in person and chat with you. 😊🤩
My sincere pleasure! Thank you for joining me! It was a pleasure meeting you!
Awwww! So many cuties. I LOVED the red colored Chameleon! So awesome! And those plants! I wish I didn't almost kill every plant I try to raise. I may have to check out an expo here in Florida. I bet it would be a blast!
Thanks Tracy, it was lots of fun for sure! 😊
Yessss I’ve been waiting for this hopefully I will get there one day
Hope you can!
@@Reptiliatus yeah man
It was cool joining u meeting everyone including Mike, & the pricing was interesting to see.. ty Dion… did u not see my huge house spiders.. I think they might be a daddy long leg, but huge a good 2”, the smaller looked terrified.. I ll send the video if I can, I got bit 4 times last year, I did not feel any bite, but horrible sores, I got ill fainted that night but didn’t realize sitting buy a spider Pitt of joy for ur adventures was full of creatures lol.. I stayed away, my ENT was horrified, he actually said black window, I’m like really 4 bites ur an retiring ENT lol. Big hug 🤗
Cool i just saw your ch and here i am came to visit your ch, super cool lots of nice videos
I’m not even one minute into the video and already I have to comment how much nicer your McDs service is than ours down here in Georgia. Your McD staff actually acted like they liked their job and people.
They are super nice here! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for finding a tokay!! 💕
Great video! That giant axolotl was something else.
Thank you! They were beautiful!
Hey! Love the channel!!! Quick question, my son and I are wondering if you would be at the next expo in Toronto on the 17th? Would love to come say hi!!
Great video! 🌞
Great content thanks
Omgosh some of those dart frogs are incredible! Never seen their colours before! That one looked like actual metallic gold!! So cool! Thx for sharing for those of us that couldn’t go Dayyan! Appreciate you!!
You know what I never see? Where are all the salamander keepers? I love amphibians but never see salamanders, they’re adorable and so fun to watch
Praying that CANHERP can do what we need to be able to keep and breed specialty species!!
And we need to support more people like the Little ResQ too
Ackie monitor for you next Dayyan? I want a couple ❤️
COOL NEW ZOO MED STUFF!! I wanna test that LED UVB!! I was JUST looking to see if they existed online, my Arcadia uvb light bar puts more heat into my enclosures so I was researching LEDs or little computer fans to help, cool ideas!
Yes, there are some amazing frogs at these shows!
It’s because for the longest time no one was importing them after the CFIA became more strict on amphibian imports. You can only import low risk for amphibian disease species now but it’s so nice to see that at least someone is doing it!
Indeed 🦎🇨🇦 🙏🏼!
Yea, that’s some very cool technology! I look forward to seeing how it evolves/develops over time!
Such a shame that with all that space, the place wasn’t packed, here in the stares, our expos are packed with people and it get really loud, I love it. We have Repticon this Weekend in Baltimore MD.
Hopefully we’ll get there! These were mandatory measures put in place for Covid.
Waiting until June for AZs reptile expo in Phoenix.
This is a much better reptile show than the last one I went to! I’ve been having a hard time finding shows and ethical reptile shops on the west coast. Did you have that problem when you lived in Vancouver? P.S. thanks for putting on your mask before pulling up at the drive through!!
Hmmm no not really. The B.C. show was pretty much all captive bred animals from what I remember!
My pleasure! We have to do our part to protect essential workers too! They are serving our community!
@@Reptiliatus we really do!!
Looks like it was a great show :)
Hello great video information Dayyan
Thank you!
I see myself moving to Canada one day (currently in the US). I'll try to donate to CANHERP.
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼❤️
Wow, I wish the Expo in Hamm, Germany had so many different plants and all that stuff too!
It doesn’t?!
@@Reptiliatus not in my opinion, but it's been a while since I've been there, thanks to Coroni :(
I love this channel. 🤘😍
Awesome @15:30!! Go JP!!
Fell in love at 13:25
I actually checked out the Instagram account from the card on your window at the end of your vid lol, I don't think it's a business, just some enthusiastic reptile keeper with some nice cresties!
Lol interesting! I never looked 😅.
AAAAHHHH MAX HE’s the best! Hidden Path 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
He’s a good guy!
I wanted to go so badly but was working, hopefully I can go to the next one.
Hopefully next time!
i just found your channel a month ago i subscribe because your content is awesome lots off love🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much! I’m so happy you enjoy my content!🙏🏼
np you are awesome 🥰
I picked up a gorgeous blue beauty snake from Ashley at the expo.
She should have got a pet wicken because he’s so small he can fit in a 10 gallon his whole life 💀💀
We need an expo in Vancouver... Soon...I hope... Or even better here in Victoria.
There is one in Abbotsford twice a year! I know this because I used to go when I lived in BC
HEY I AM DASH
Hello buddy! Thanks for being in my video!
Picked up my first female crestie at a show. Looking for a guesstimate on how often I should look for infertile eggs
I must admit I was ignorant at the beginning and was very worried about the animals in those plastic tubs and seeing a blue tongue lizard etc in small containers being Australian I know how they live, but then it was explained that they are only kept in those containers just for sale
Thank you for educating me !
My pleasure!
I miss shows soooooooo bad. Next one for sure!!!!
😊👍🏼
He’s definitely going to take one home 😂
Lol
I love Peacock saligenella! I love all saligenella!
The music starting at 1:16 scared me at first I thought you hit something LOL
Sorry 😅
wish I knew you were there, would liked to have met you
Next time!
“I hope i run into you later with a snake in hand..”. That’s exactly what i woulda been thinking too😂. I’m sorry. I couldn’t help it.
I saw the salamanders and immediately knew they were Tim Herman’s amazing breeder
It was really cool!
I can’t find anywhere. How do you walk around after purchasing multiple animals from a show? Do you take a wagon or cart? Arnt you worried about placing animals from different vendors close to each other. Can anyone help?? Thanks!
Vendors will usually hold the animal and you can swoop by before you leave.
Wow nice my lord keep doing video like this
Thanks! Glad you liked it so much! As things continue to let up with Covid, you can bet I will!
@@Reptiliatus thank bro can i know which country is this
Canada :)
@@Reptiliatus niceee one of my friends family changed to canada😓
hi reptiliatus what is that music use use by epidemic sounds in that tong feeding video you did im looking for that funny song for months😭😭😭😭😭
YO A TOKAY BREEDER!!!!❤️
Yes! A few!
I wanted to go so bad but plans didn't work out:(
If I could get anything I would definitely get a baby tortoise. I love them, but they are so expensive.
I wish there were events like that in my country :(
Come to Canada!
I really wish Zoomed would break into the Australian market.
Every time I see the stuff they bring out I get so depressed I can't find it here.
I hope they do too! I actually had no idea they weren’t!
@@Reptiliatus Unfortunately their only foothold is the occasional lighting dome and some hermit crab / betta fish products.
Ill be waiting for that environmental control center for a very long time...
"Hope I run into you later with snake in hand" lol ;)
From my understanding, CanHerp is the Canadian equivalent of USArk.
Exactly! That’s quite literally the best comparison!
Great video. We seen you there.
Thank you! Yes! Was nice seeing you! Sorry we couldn’t chat, I was having a conversation with Mike :).
@@Reptiliatus always next time.
Whats your favourite Reptile? Thanks for your great videos
Too hard to say haha! Thank you for watching!
@@Reptiliatus Top 3?
Is canherp working with bringing herps to MP's/mpp's directly? Focusing on the legal aspect is important but I think these lawmakers need hands on experience to really appreciate these animals.
Do you happen to have any information about the table with the crested gecko drawing and stickers at 2:18? I can see that the card says “Emily” but I can’t read the last name to look her up!
The stickers are sold by ReptilesRus :). You can checkout their website!
@@Reptiliatus Thank you!

@@Reptiliatus Keep up with the awesome videos dude! I’ve only ever been to my smaller local reptile shows, but it’s on my bucket list to go to some bigger ones like the one in Toronto. I’ll get there someday!
@@miraemenaker4993 thank you so much! They are a really nice expo! Hope you can make it out someday!
Loved the video. Also, the best way to get me to intentionally not check out your business is to leave your card on my car.
Haha so true but I put it in because it was funny
Is this how all your mcdoanld's are in Canada? They are not quite as pleasant here in the U.S.
It does look better than last month. I was also very good on not buying another gecko. I have a empty tank sitting at home.
Ohh man!! The pink tounge was soo cheap, just 600 dollars (relatively cheaper).
They are really neat animals!
Holy crap, you guys are paying way to much money for the Dart Frogs. I just saw the prices and nearly fell off my chair.
Yeah, even when converted to freedom dollar those frogs are expensive. Though there were a couple normal priced ones around $50 or so.
Different country, different market my friend 😅🐸!
Hi watching with my crestie!
tell them I say hi!
@@ReptiliatusI will. :)
Maccy D's brekky!!!

Thanks for your support! 🙏🏼
was at this expo. bought from the hidden path and understory enterprises
Awesome! Plants? 🌿
someone @ the girl in the yellow 13:14
Damn your french is awesome.
Thanks very much!
@@Reptiliatus i’m saying that like i know good french😂. I dont but i could tell the wee fella you were speaking to understood every word you said.
Hey Dayyan, was I hearing correctly? Your friends name is Annis (sp)? Asking as that's my surname, always believed it to be French, but had one person say they knew it as a Persian name. Maybe it makes a difference if it's first or last name that dictates where it's from?!
Hi! It’s actually not Anise like the spice. That’s actually one of my favourite names though! It’s Anes and he is from Bosnia :).
@@Reptiliatus Bosnia, interesting! Yeah, my surname is Annis, pronounced Ann-iss, so sounds much like your friends first name. (Though you're right, the French pronounce it like Anise)
As a surname I'd always heard it was French, but a cashier in a post office noticed it and asked if I was Persian, as that's where he knew the name. Hey, maybe I'm a little bit of both!
I’m sorry but I have to ask what’s the @ of the girl In the yellow top that bought the white snake?
do you find that things are less/ more expensive at the expo?
In terms of supplies prices are about the same, but it is a one stop shop for everything you need. In terms of animals then yes, at my local pet land a single normal leopard gecko with a regenerated tail is like $200, you can consistently get a healthy baby with known genetics at an expo for $70.
@@yvainestelmack7196 Where do you live that a leopard gecko is $200?
Really depends but as others have said, everything you need is under one roof and expos give you the opportunity to chat with breeders directly and choose from many animals! Lots and lots of variety which is special!
@@mpk6664 Alberta Canada. It is seriously crazy the prices you see at chain pet stores for exotics. But at an expo the cheapest leopard gecko I have bought was $50 (a normal) and the most expensive was $115 (a Super Snow Blizzard.)
@@yvainestelmack7196 Jeez... I'm so sorry that Canada's prices are so inflated.
Are u going next year because I am and I want to see uv
I hope to attend every expo in Ontario as they come!
Would you go to the ones say in Florida
Oh my thats an amazing message and sad that we have to prove that
Thank you! Really important to share and support Canherp!
