    So did the rim get wider again from the V2?
    I'm new to all things EUC and found a good offer for a Sherman V2 and would like to find out if it's any good or still has some flaws.
    I would buy it (now) not as my first wheel but as my second after I learn on a inmotion V12 just because EUCs are usually illegal in Germany but i think I could make the Sherman legal by claiming the roll cage is my handle bar (every PLEV is required to have a handlebar here)

    You pointed out the smaller transformer but didn't comment on what that might mean. Any guesses? Also regarding water-proofing, I was surprised that you didn't add a strip of something around the casing, why not?

    Wtf. Who needs a euc without waterproofing nowadays. It seems that veteran sherman slowly becoming a Begode ( in quality )

  • @Allride_
    @Allride_ Před 2 lety +1

    Is that really all there is to waterproof the wheel for everyday riding? Just closing the holes at the axles?

    • @eucupgrades
      @eucupgrades  Před 2 lety +1

      No to fully waterproof the Sherman to ride in the rain one need to seal all the edge around the side panel, the top cover and handle holds with silicone strip seal.

    No change! That's not a V3! That's a regular V2!

    • @sby1076
      @sby1076 Před 2 lety

      It's correct, it's V3...there were two earlier version before this...no rubber button on V1, red button on V2 then V3 comes with black button ....V3 is way much smoother compared to V1...mine is V1 compared to my friend who got V3

    • @eucupgrades
      @eucupgrades  Před 2 lety +2

      The regular V2 doesn't have wider rim and black buttons. The V1 and V2 version free spin can go up to 102kmp and V3 only goes up to 97kmp.

  • @blueboywill

    Great video! How did you blow the original motherboard? What benefits/drawbacks do you hypothesise may originate from having a smaller transformer - just cost savings or is it meant to prevent blowouts by lessening strain on the other components in some way?
    Also just so you're aware, the reason they don't use cable ties for the motor wires anymore is because Veteran discovered it actually induced cable melting rather than prevented it as they were intending. It's apparently best to have as much space around the cables as possible and minimise contact points, especially those in an adjacent line as neat and perfectly straight as yours! You've done a beautiful job though, it's probably not what you want to hear 😅 I've got some not insignificant singeing on the fibreglass shielding at places where my wires gently overlap so I'd definitely be cautious. High speed and high torque applications worsen this, although it has been mostly corrected with recent firmwares.

      @thewheelhenry Před 2 lety +1

      I think it’s to do with interference between exterior components such as lights. Did you ever notice on the v1 that it would vibrate sometimes when you had the light on?

    • @blueboywill
      @blueboywill Před 2 lety

      @@thewheelhenry That's very interesting. I never noticed vibrations just from having my Sherman's light on, but I do remember the KS16X had a similar issue when it came out regarding the bluetooth speaker module. I wonder if this is why Vet only advise fitting a 1.5A headlight (not ideal as I've got a 1.75A one fitted currently 😅)

    • @v4v777
      @v4v777 Před 2 lety

      Maybe its best for cable separators to use some Aluminum tape, instead of the plastic zip-ties.

    • @eucupgrades

      Check the connector charging port under the the top panal. But be very carful as the cable are very short and no much space.
      1 reomve top panal disconnect panal cable.
      2 disconnect battery cable and press power button to discharge.
      3 check charger port connector or pull out and reconnect.
