Too many "hosts". It should be Ben/Tommy +1 on regular shows, and add 1 or 2 more on Saturday/Sundays at events. Hearing Pats takes on challengers (which he definitely does not watch) , and online league matches that 90% of them he hasn't watched is pointless. He can be entertaining in short bursts but he doesn't have enough unique perspectives to see him on every show
Mainly because of how different Aches is on the Flank. And Ben and Haggy overreact to his braindead comments. The flank can be really entertaining though especially when they have guests on

i think they def got envoy on the come up to his prime, they never saw the benefit to the work they put in with him.
Dashy is a weird one, im not sure hes ever had a prime and i think thats due to the lack of wins he has. he actually has a super similar career path to crimsix but without any of the wins to go along with it haha like i look at crim and i cant pick a prime moment for him because the man was just so damn consistent over all these years which is just like Dashy expect Crim was able to generate alot more wins.

Kenny id argue is seeing a return to prime, he def lost it last year but the year before he was godtier and that was after 2 years of build up. its nice to see him reclaim some of that juice this year.

But when they matched up against the other competition at those events they won, it's indisputable that they won, whether or not you count them as an official championships is irrelevant. On the competitive stage they were the last team standing by beating the other competitors that's literally the definition of winning.

@ 1:12:00 are we still pretending Clay is a lockdown IGL setting his teams up for success? He hasnt been that since empire, where arguably it was mostly crimsix and a small portion Illey doing the leadership aspects. Clay abandoned a NY team with hydra/Mack because they weren't mature enough to win, then both of those guys went on to win without clay. Listen i love clay and want him in the league, but the days of throw me to the wolves clay are GONE. We are in the "playing for myself" emotional era of clay, sure he hypothetically could succeed on a team with pred/Kenny/shottzy but 90% of the league could join that team and they'd be a top6 roster. Dashy over clay 365 days of the year, they have kenny for leadership, clay has given up on his teams since the moment he was dropped off empire

Looking at Chris' statement about the narrative of Optic always have godlike teams being false, it's actually a good take.
TJ, Gunless, Prestinni, Arcitys, Illey, Huke are all players who were stars at the time when coming to Huntsmen/Optic, but in hindsight, they haven't done much since meaning they were primarily living on a name they made for themselves in the past. That's a little unfair to Arcitys who did run it in Cold War, but he also had the 3 best players in the world on his team. Formal, Crim, Karma also stayed on Optic past the point that they were top top players, which is understandable based on what they accomplished for the org. The jury is still out on Ghosty - I think he is a good player and just needs some help. The only Huntsmen/Optic player post-dynasty that is still an elite player is Envoy. I know it seems like the Optic rosters have been stacked, but when you look at it, it's not quite true really. Most of the names were just names at the time they were on Optic post-dynasty. There has definitely been a bit of a talent/team composition evaluation problem at Optic for several years now.
Optic literally just go for talent but mostly they go for names. So basically by fan, Just a hype team
Im tired of people pretending optics teams are STACKED, and guaranteed projected T3 all year and failing though. Bo4 they flopped , that year they had the talent and team to win and only pulled it off once. MW the huntsman were good won a couple of the wacky format tournaments and landed T3 which they reasonably were. Cold War they had the team/talent and flopped only year I truly don't have anything to say they were just below expectations. Vanguard they had the team and the talent until Illey departed, can't expect them to pick up a challengers player and compete with faze/LAT/etc. MW2 their roster was a shit show and scump abandoned them, once that happened I wasn't expecting much and they exceeded my expectations for a team that picked up an unproven challengers player, and an exiled huke. This narrative that every year they have a stacked team and fail to capitalize is disingenuous considering since CDL they've had a team/roster that they wanted at the beginning of the year make it to the end of the year a SINGLE time.
@@mkwsoxfan Exactly, good points. And also, just in general think about how hard it is to win tournaments. Faze has had the most talented roster in Vanguard, MW2, and MW3, and they only have 1 win across those 3 games. This league is just really tough.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE. 1. Activision owns the call of duty franchise/game and licensing rights.
2. Scump and Hecz sueing activision is them biting the hand that has fed them their careers and success they have had their whole lives.
3. Making enemies with activision despite not agreeing with the CDL workings is not the way. This could potentially cause every pro cod player, coach, caster, and talent member their current jobs and livelihoods if the cdl does go away.
4. Activision has the power to control any type of pro cod league in the future, (could charge even more money in the future) or could just straight up say they wont want to license the COD game to any type of league especially to one involving Scump and Hecz (which in fairness any cod league will involve them as they are a huge face in Cod)
MORAL OF THE STORY: The lawsuit appears that Scump and Hecz are seeking a quick bag/cheesy settlement/hush money just to pocket some money for themselves and this could destroy the lives of every cdl person in the current pro cod community scene. Scump and Hecz doing this could be the downfall to competitive cod as we know all just so they can get a bag and make enemies with the owner of the game that has fed them their millions of dollars and content their whole lives.
