To be honest, semi final 2 might be one of the worst semi finals ever. But BBC managed to make it pleasant enough!

From the four cities that applied and are still in the competition for hosting ESC2024 I want Örnsköldsvik to get this thing. -well, it is not really a "global" event. scale-wise, it is still continental (Europe plus a few neighbouring or transcontinental Eurasian countries, with Australia being invited similarly to the way Qatar was invited to Copa America).
-although Eurovision has more cultural impact, the impact is still not strong enough to trigger official, licensed adaptations of the contest in other continents (Americas, Africa and Asia-Oceania). Other continents also have broadcasting unions similar to Europe's EBU that can very well hold continental contests in their own continents; and there is also WBU (World Broadcasting Unions) if they want to make it truly global.
