I've been getting a ton of requests to do some more dumbbell videos so this is one of possibly many. If everyone is up for it then I'll do a complete series for every single body part.
The big takeaway from this video isn't the unique exercises (although that calves one is pretty nice) it's how you're doing them that really makes these a better alternative. Try these small tweaks and let me know what you think!

For a big guy you are pretty flexible. Perhaps you would be willing to share which stretching exercises you prefer? TIA.

He probably has a hypermobile syndrome. I have it and the only thing I have to watch out for is my joints and soft tissue. So running, swimming, walking, moderate-heavy weight training is all I can do. Otherwise, I would like to see his flexibility workout.
stretching is bad for you.
@@maynardfrench5418 for a person who runs half marathon every week. You have to stretch a lot and warm up the muscles. Just like how you start a car. It feels super weird not stretching, I feel like I’m putting half of work into my running. Same with my calisthenic work outs, I miss out on reps because I didn’t stretch enough to warm up the muscles. Your muscles are like a rubber band, you have to give it lubrications and play.
Size is bigger than most workout youtubers, but that control and flexibility is impressive.
Ryan, I tried your shoulder giant-set workout today and it absolutely crushed me unlike my typical shoulder routine. Thanks for giving me some variation and valuable tips!

Hey man just wanted to say this leg workout toasted my legs in new and painful ways! Appreciate all you do. Up until now i was chopping out some of your stuff and adding my own, but after running this routine out of the box I’m a believer!
Okay, this killed! Everything lower body I did at home since my gym closed felt goofy, but this work out with high rep sets gave me more of that glorious ache from my butt down than anything I was doing at the gym. I'll be working my way through more of your dumbbell workouts looking for more gold.

I did this workout this morning and just 12 hours later I feel the muscle soreness creeping in - usually take at least 24 hours to hit me!! Definitely going to work this into my leg day cycle!!

I did his 100 squats with bar, then 100 with a bit more weight then another 100 with a bit more weight. So good. My legs were genuinely in DOMS mode for a week.

@@shmonn. 'delayed onset muscle soreness' . Basically that deep ache you get one or two days after a heavy session in the muscles you targeted. If you go hard enough you can't walk properly or operate you arms properly because they get so sore. lol. According to Ryan that workout is amazing for growth and I have to agree. When I follow his recommendations I get bigger.

While I disagree with the calves workout I am definitely trying the others. Love the variation, looks great from extra mobility. For my own calves workouts I toss something under my toes to get that over extended position like a 2x4 or a step. Great video! Love your content.

Super exercises for leg!
The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me czcams.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
