    1) noticing what makes you change your thoughts or belief
    2) the goal of pleasing people is impossible because people's hearts are always changing.
    3) what would Allah swt want you to do.

    1. BEING CONSCIOUS of my tendencies to seeking external validation from people
    2. KNOWING AND REMINDING SELF over and over again of what the truth is: people are impossible to please, therefore I will NEVER find what I need with people
    3. CHOOSING the truth of Allah SWT embracing my neediness. Coming to Allah over and over again with my needs of feeling seen, appreciated, being taken care of fully

Thanks to the Yaqeen Institute for introducing great Muslim psychiatrists like Sarah Sultan & Najwa Awaad. The knowledge and advice given by these women is extremely effective. In particular, their words naturally give more comfort and alleviation Because of the compassion and empathy that comes naturally to them as women.

MashAllah. Alhamdulilahi my moral compass is intact or Allah keeps it intact, however I noticed others that have an issue with this, especially University Students. The need for external validation has the ability to unconsciously change your identity. Blessed is he who can keep it intact like their forefathers strove for and only correct your misconceptions, in an attempt to Improve yourself in your deen as an individual.

May Allah make us pleasing to Him , make us do everything pleasing to Him, make us do everything to please Him, Ameen. In shaa Allah, let us do our tasks to please Allah SWT only. If we obey Allah, want to only please Allah and have the intention to do our deeds only for Allah, then In shaa Allah we are free of these External validations. If In shaa Allah we have only one intention ,that is to please Allah only, then everything else will vanish away from our heart. External validation or approval is a weakness of ours at times, but In shaa Allah if we regularly remind ourselves to do everything for Allah 's sake , tell ourselves how grateful we should be to Allah for each and everything, then we will be able to focus on the right direction, In shaa Allah. We must ,In shaa Allah, remember, Allah has blessed us with endless rahmat. It's only Allah SWT who made us able to do a good deed, it's only His rahmat on us ,Alhamdulillah. So,our first act should be In shaa Allah to be grateful to Allah SWT always . Being grateful to Allah is very important. If we are grateful to Allah then all the wrong perception, desire, and wrong paths closes down, Subahan Allah, Alhamdulillah. In shaa Allah we should check ourselves for right intentions always, try to strengthen our emaan on Allah, make dua to Allah for granting us strong emaan, ikhlas. May Allah grant us Taqwa, a heart filled with gratitude for Him, make us able to be grateful to Him always ,Ameen. May Allah help us to have the right intention and bless us to do everything for Him and for His pleasure , Ameen. In shaa Allah we should remind ourselves regularly about the purpose of all our actions , think and learn Allah SWT's commands, and how we can be grateful to Allah SWT always. And have one intention in heart thats to do everything to please Allah SWT. To please Allah and to strive to be pleasing to Allah is a big rahmat of Allah upon us .In shaa Allah let us talk about the Prophets - Nuh (A.), Ibrahim (A), Musa( A) , Lut( A), Isa ( A) ,Nabiji Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam, they all preached islam , spread the Deen of Allah amongst the people. The people of their times were not listening to them, many people were not even believing, and people of their respective times put our prophets in to difficult times and hard situations. Nabiji Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam faced hardships with the people a lot . We learn from the lives of the prophets that ,they all followed Allah 's command, obeyed Allah. People of their times treated them harshly and ignorantly. People's actions, reactions, rejection, and persecution didn't stop them from their missions.
They only obeyed Allah and knew their reward is with Allah. They didn't wish anything or any return from the people, Subhan-Allah !Alhamdulillah ! In Sura Al Anam ayat 162 Allah SWT said,
Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allāh, Lord of the worlds." This ayat has detailed tafsir ,Alhamdulillah I'm just giving an excerpt from the detailed tafsir here,
"...Allah, the Exalted, commanded him ( Nabiji Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)to dedicate his intention and heart to being sincere for Him alone...." .
In shaa Allah we learn from this ayat to do everything sincerely for Allah SWT only and live our lives in the teaching of this ayat. May Allah guide and help us always, Ameen.
    There is a Hadith :-
Umar ibn al-Khattab reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, deeds are only with intentions, and every person will have only what they intended. Whoever emigrated to Allah and His Messenger, his emigration is for Allah and His Messenger. Whoever emigrated to get something in the world or to marry a woman, his emigration is for that to which he emigrated.”
    Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 54, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1907
In shaa Allah, let's ask ourselves a few questions:
Why we do an act = to please Allah only.
How we do that act= the way Allah is pleased,
what we wish = to be pleasing to Allah .
In shaa Allah, we will be able to navigate through varied situations and find our correct and only intention ,that is, to do everything for Allah. In shaa Allah, then nothing will bother us or make us go lost or feel lost, bi iznillah.
Being conscious of Allah, being mindful of Allah, putting Allah first is Taqwa. Being grateful to Allah is a great rahmah of Allah SWT upon us, Alhamdulillah. Having the intention to please Allah only is our only purpose and intention in everything, in every action. To please Allah is our only intention, bi iznillah.
In shaa Allah No External validation will be able to come to our path, mind and matter, bi iznillah.
May Allah include us amongst those whom Allah loves, May Allah make us amongst those who love to be pure in their imaan and actions, Ameen.
May Allah forgive us, protect us, guide us, and help us always, Ameen.May Allah put us steadfast on His path always, Ameen.

It's a waste of time to please human beings. They will keep on changing the goal post and in trying to accommodate them you will lose your own identities. Let Allah be your compass and your guiding force. You will never be disappointed by Him.
