    Kristian, another awesome video - well done!! I love the vapor grey color paired with the dark theme on this XC90. I also loved your S90 in silver dawn metallic!! It’s amazing this this design still looks great after so many years. Looking forward to when you get the EX90!!

    looks so good Kristian. We love our MY23 T8 XC60 so can imagine that this is the next step up

      Yeah. Since it's a 90 it will be a step up in interior luxury for sure, but wouldn't be a huge difference in engine spec. It's just the updated on board charger. But now I really think Volvo have nailed it with their Plug-Ins 👌

    Thanks for the video. I have ordered mine same XC90 T8 plus dark - vapour grey but after looking at the black version I am inclined towards black with a luxury look impressed with black dark version. So, One day after placing the order (vapour grey) I have requested Volvo if I can opt for a black. Don’t get me wrong this colour looks good too. I am confused. 😊

    Why did Volvo decide to stick with bright headliner even in the Dark series 🙄 Such a mistake to not even allow it as an option with black interior. I love color combination in my current V90 2019 Inscription - black interior, black headliner and wooden elements. Pity it cannot be repeated when ordering new car.

    • @volvo_kristian
      @volvo_kristian  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Yeah 🤣🤣 Very good question. My understanding it's because Volvo want to simplify production. Less options for customers means "easier" or faster production flow. But I totally agree. Should have it as a option. Was much better to configure and order Volvo's before.

      @siebek.s Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@volvo_kristian yeah I fully understand they want to simplify and optimize production and I agree this has to be the main reason. But... It's premium brand and they should allow for some customization 😊 Hope they will open for that in future again.

    No dark edition in USA for 2024 only bright . Dark so much nicer and don’t know why they stopped . Can you still order the dark edition there? Thanks

    I own one and I have to say, the software is garbage. Keeps throwing up indicator faults. Keeps creeping when this is switched off. Had problems with it not storing settings. But then, this is what happens when you let Google loose on your car software. Otherwise, quite a nice drive but very sanitary. I have the T8 with the Polestar upgrade... and it needed it because the stock T8 is absolutely terrible in terms of throttle response etc.

    • @volvo_kristian
      @volvo_kristian  Před 3 měsíci

      Doubtful.. and terrible? 🤣 nonsense

    • @dalemckenzie335
      @dalemckenzie335 Před 3 měsíci

      @@volvo_kristian Happy for you to see the service record from my dealership RE software and everyone suggests the Polestar upgrade because it makes the car much more responsive than the standard T8 even just in hybrid mode. Not my words... but they were the reason I upgraded and it's true. The T8 standard is quite lethargic in terms of the throttle response. I would have expected something more precise. Also the car keeps seeing ghosts as of the last OTA upgrade... and we still get the faulty indicator warning on the odd occasion which the last update was supposed to fix. On top of that, the car keeps releasing puffs of air from the air suspension as it sits parked... not sure if this is normal for Volvo but I have never had that from other vehicles I have owned with similar suspension setups.
      Not the best buyer experience and I know others are experiencing problems too. So... "nonsense".... I don't think so but you are free to believe whatever, I suppose.
