Guy on the left makes the worst observations every single time. It’s almost impressive. Out here doing his best Skip Bayless take on football.
He’s just so clueless and he thinks he’s so smart 😂😂
They are learning. Takes time.
Someone please tell them about Cristiano's tendinosis injury. Before 2014 is a different Ronaldo than after, the man is risking his freaking knee out of love for the game
I laughed so hard when he said that Messi has more penalty goals than Ronaldo
@@lperea21 The left guy is clearly not if you watched all there vids
This is why you don’t let Americans argue about a spirt they don’t watch
If you think all Americans just are into American football or basketball you’re wrong. There are plenty of Americans who love the sport Messi and Ronaldo play.
"Theres no break in basketball" Wym, there are legit 4 quarters and a billion timeouts
And unlimited subs where as in football you get 3 and that’s it. An only halftime to really rest.
frrr
I guess they're trying to say during the game in football you can rest at some point if you're tired you can walk through the field, in basketball the pace is much faster constantly
@@nanakwadwoyannah982 I see your point but the difference is basketball has unlimited substitutions and hella timeouts and ref timeouts, and halftime. Also, football doesn’t look like it played at a high intensity but trust me it very much is it just doesn’t look like it because the field is 3 times the size so obviously it’s gonna look slower. Another example would be to look at players like lebron for example if he’s tired he’s not playing d he’ll just Stand there. not saying he don’t play d just saying if he doesn’t feel like it he’s not doing it. Difference with football is there’s not timeouts there’s only halftime and they only have 3 subs. you can take a small break to catch your breath but you only get so much of those before your coach starts getting on your ass. If your team has already made their 3 subs you have to suck it up an keep playing. Both sports are very physically demanding but saying shit like oh yea “this shit light” or “I can do this it’s not worse than basketball” is just ignorant.
@@nanakwadwoyannah982 yea in a how many basketball courts do you thing it would take to fill up a football staduim
You gotta stop relating it back to basketball because they're too different. If you're a football fan there are a lot more 'intense' moments, than there would be for guys like you watching. Big tackles, nice passages of play (e.g. tiki taka plays), fights, take ons, goals, chances at goal, your keeper having to make saves, skills and even more if you enjoy the more tactical side of the sport etc.
It's much slower, more difficult, a much larger area & a lot more happening that what the untrained eye will see
To put Messi into context - taking into account the era of opponents he's faced & the distance between him and whoever people think the second best player of all time is - If MJ had the highest average points per game at 30.1, in NBA terms, I'd say Messi would be a 36.2 career points per game player
I enjoyed football after I learned about the players position and formation. And like you said to untrained eyes, it just looks like 22 people running chasing the ball and passing and hopes for a goal.
Basketball has more intense moments but footballs intense moments out weigh basketballs intense moments
@@SerginioAlvarez only if you dont unterstand football/youre not invested.
@@escaladism When did you start enjoying it?
people in the US don't know anything going on outside of it, i agree with you there
Football is more intense 100%. The fan are pretty much stood up all game singing and shouting their heart out.
Basketball the fans sit down with a cola and popcorn😂😂😂😂
Facts🤣
Ngl, football is my favorite sport but basketball is a much more entertaining sport to watch. Players get points like every play. In a Football game most of the time players are just passing.

They dumb bro…ong
@@tropixxvevo118 true
You people are just most misinformed individuals. There is a reason why all marathon runners are skinny. Football players may seem to be strolling or jogging but if you do that you will pass out. No basketball player can play football without gasping for air.
That’s what I’m saying. The average running distance of a basketball player is 2.55 miles and for a football player is 7 miles.
The guy on the left is the hardest flip flop I’ve seen
Let’s be real the first 3 quarters of a nba game ain’t intense
They run an average of 7 miles a game, basketball players run 2.5 miles 😂 not the same
The guy on purple t-shirt doesn't stop talking😂
Just speaks soooo much for no reason and he just looks so dumb
Depends on the game in terms of intense moments. What you're saying is not necessarily wrong but it's wrong u always lead to compare basketball with football trying to prove basketball is better when it's a completely different sport with different size of courts of course basketball will be intense coz they're close to each other and using hands lmao. And stop talking over the video 😴
Can y’all watch the video, everyone talking 😅
Specially the "the guy on the left" (he was my guy at the beggining 😆) but i was agree with him with the subject in the end of the video.
But you gotta stop relating it back to basketball because they're too different. And everyone will defend their sport. it's an endless debate.
And one again we want to see you play, because it seems easy for you. But don't worry i still love your channel, even sometimes i want to slap you 🤣
running is intense believe me, and football players run 2.5 times the distance of a basketball player at about double the speed. - even if you not running and you doing some moves \ skills \ dribble moves they do take a lot of stamina.
Indeed. I'd like to see them do spontaneous dribbling. It's a drill where u just do skills back to back. To even last a minute it's hard for someone who is untrained
Ngl basketball is definitely more tiring thats why they have time outs
@@mdot1799 it really isnt
@@Gooooaaaaalllllll bro 😂 basketball is end to end non stop action, u may not cover as much ground but you will get very tired quickly
@@mdot1799 if actually played basketball and the coach amde me play through the whole game. I can tell you I wasn't tired at all. U barely have to run sometimes just jog or walk
Intensity also comes from knowledge of the game, knowing what could lead to a goal, battles between positions on the pitch etc. I can apply the exact same thing to basketball as I find it to be boring, but I know full well that's down to my ignorance of the game.
@LEOMESHI or he just doesn’t find basketball interesting. I think basketball is boring as well. I still follow multiple other sports closely but basketball and in my opinion baseball are the two most boring and least interesting sports to me. I have knowledge of both too
Americans have such a short attention span from watching basketball they need high scoring sports to keep them engaged
@@a-kay9643 I’m American my two top sports are football and American football. Not all Americans watch basketball and not all American sports are high scoring.
@@daronthurstonsr4043 I agree I’m an American and my favorite sports are Soccer and American Football, once in a while I will catch an NBA game but the true intensity is the last quarter when both teams are neck and neck. In Soccer and American football it’s less scoring because there’s a larger presence of defense and it changes from high offense intensity to high defense intensity.
@@daronthurstonsr4043 which one? The only one i can think of is baseball, even then id rather watch cricket
27:15 it took bro on the left 10 minutes just to figure out that Messi and Ronaldo were playing each other's teams

"ronaldo doesn't make plays, he just scores" is a myth he's never been just a goalscorer. he's one of the most complete and talented footballers ever also with over 230+ assists he can be creative, unreal dribble ability. he's just old now.
For this one theyre right
@@VictorDurand-me5yu no they're fucking not
Ronaldo was more than a goalscorer many years ago. Around 2015 he just lost his creative side and became a poacher
@@frontline8776 he had that left knee injury that fucked him up, he can still dribble and be creative he showed it at juve. but he's 37 now and i can admit he's no way near as good now sadly...
Ronaldo has 270+ assists.
In psg messi is not playing his usual position
He’s playing as a midfielder, and people still expect him to score the same amount of goals he was scoring while he was playing as an attacker.
But he got 7 goals and 9 assists
And played just 20 games they just put months to make him look bad cause he was injured for 2 months
midfielder lmaoo he is forward
@@D3V1N9 you know players don't play like the line ups they show before the game right??
Ikr bro
Even the psg match messi was playing more like CAM position
He wasnt tryna press and score, he cover team mates and receives passes
Even tho he missed the penalty he got like 7.2 rating in that match while mbappe had like 7.8
Messi is actually better as a midfielder in my opinion. He controls the game better that way
Lord !!! can y’all watch the video, everyone talking.
the one of the left talk too damn much we can focus, and y’all not understand the concept of the video 😤! Ronaldo as more games that messi too . French league is not a bouty ass league is just no the best compared to the premier league , the best top players played in the French league ( Ligue 1 )
Guy on the left gets that distracted he commented ‘damn that’s against ronaldos team, after 10 minutes of highlights Messi vs Ronaldo 💀
Honestly the only way y’all would actually understand where we’re coming from is if ya go an actually play a game. Not no little friendly game with friends no like an actual team. An see how hard it actually is, at just the amateur level. Then just imagine the pro level where everyone was the best player for their team when they were playing at the amateur level. Then I feel you will truly understand why we tell ya that it’s a lot more to the sport than what you see. Bc if you not the star of the team you will not be able to slouch on defense or attacking. The coach will require you to attack with your an an come back to defend. Star players get off a bit more because they’ve earned it. But they are still required to help out. I’ve had a couple of friends that thought it wasn’t as hard or draining but I took them just to tryout for my team an they never went with me again.
There’s roles that you have to play can’t just think you’re gonna go in an just score and be the next Messi no you got your role. I’ve seen grown as men play with 15 year olds and they just get destroyed. I was 11 playing with my older brothers so I always had to play with disadvantages. But I learn what to do to make it work in my favor or certain moves, play style, runs, passes that would help me be able to make an impact in the game
27:20 bro on the left has no idea Ronaldo has the most penalties in history 😂
Bro stop talking and look thé vidéo
19:28.... That is a gem that never gets attention. Look at what he did, bounce the ball below defenders raised leg and hop over goalies sprawled out arms and legs.... Unreal. That's vision!
Ronaldo has scored more penalties than Messi btw. Ronaldo has scored 139 out of 167. Messi has scored 103 out of 131.
Yep. Penelties is pretty much the only metric Ronaldo is better at.

@@morphosis3975 messi is just the better player there is no debate anymore. Has more trophies , d’Ors and has a World Cup.
You guys are missing the fact that Ronaldo spent most of his early career as winger (further from goal ) Messi was played in cf most his career (right in front of goal )... messi had a whole team build around him years with him being the focus and only moved team once to psg ... Ronaldo has moved to 4 clubs and conquered every league he’s played in ... Ronaldo is the most complete attacking player of all time !
Buying messi is like buying neymar(dribbling), KDB(playmaking) and lewandowski(goal scoring)
All in one
Ronaldo just lewandowski
You get what i mean?
Lmfao😭 Messi has played as a right winger most of his career only in 2009-2012 and 2020 did he play as a CF and Ronaldo is a more complete goalscorer not a more complete attacker
@@hellohi5360 messi did not play right winger bro and even if he did it doesnt take away the fact Barcelona team had been built around him with him being the focal point for years ..
for us even passing is intense, playmaking, beautiful crosses and passes, dribbling skills, even defending is intense.
i speak from playing lots of football.
playing someone like messi whos small, fast, agile is wayyyyy harder than playing against ronaldo style player, cuz small players are so hard to mark and turn so quickly and are so much more difficult to predict
Bro in the purple really think he a professional football player and he's the most clueless there... "I play both" bro prolly played 10 mins of football in his life, Americans "Soccer" is no where near as hard and technical as European football and that's fax
The problem is that your knowledge of intensity is strictly basketball, your knowledge of the game only let's you enjoy highlights and not a full real game because you might not spot what is happening in the moment due to not enough time watching full games. I would suggest picking a soccer team and supporting the through a full season and watch all their games. Then your knowledge of the game will vastly improve to seeing plays and movements a casual supporter would never see
One day youll understand how good football really is, and Messi the GOAT
The guy on the far left is just ignorant

The guy on the left is one tapped yute 😂 man said u run more in basketball than football 🤦🏿♂️😂
@@darealvellz514 technically he's right about that. Depending on ur position in football you don't have to run that much but in basketball you have to constantly be running back and forth

Messi has a tricky way of maneuvering the ball whenever he plays free kicks, he knows how to get the job done and that's why he gets alot of those
he on the left " I do not want to play against any of them" , you would not be able to play against a division 4 player in Finland 😂😂
It's obviously cr7 that has scored more pens cuz he's been playing more games. But if we're talking who has scored more pens each season it's usually messi. Like this season, last season and the one before that. Football fans usually rate a player based on how their season is going.
Messi has missed more penalties than Ronaldo despite Ronaldo playing more
@@fatiibrahim2292 yes, exacly
The comments about in football you have to run all game and averaging 9 miles weren't talking about the intensity, they were arguing the point before where the guy on the left said you don't need stamina to play football. its unbelievable how deluded dude on the left is, like you havent even watched an entire game in your life and saying ronaldo is better for free. Get some football knowledge and youll realise why messi is the goat, kids just need to mature
Is the guy on left even reacting to the video he is just speaking all the time about basketball WTF
I was looking for a comment like this he talk too damn much
There is literally a couple clips of Ronaldo scoring a penalty and dude still goes “I haven’t seen Ronaldo score one” they really don’t be paying attention to the videos bruh
You have to take into context Ronaldo was a midfielder before and he’s played for 4 different teams while Messi played with Barca his whole life. That’s why his gls a game are slightly higher
And Messi Plays way deeper then him in then last 13 years
Not really. Ronaldo still has more shots attempted on average than Messi. Messi is just more accurate than Ronaldo and this is someone that's portuguese saying this so no bias.
If you look at the highest goal scorers in history you end up with a list of pure strikers. If you go by trophies won in a career you end up with a list of goalies. If you go by assists, you end up with a list of midfielders. The numbers alone are not going to get you the answer of the goat. It's a feeling.
A classic ronaldo fan argument. Ronaldo never played as a midfielder he was a left winger and now a striker. Messi plays deeper than ronaldo his whole career.
@@official41savage89 that's not true at all. Ronaldo literally played as a right midfielder at the start of his career. Hes got more team of the year appearances as a midfielder than anyone excepts a couple of players
I guess you’ll never know how tough a sport is till you play at professional level
There are intense moments as a team, but as an individual you have one on one battles through out the whole gane
Ronaldo has more goals cuz he’s 2 years meaning he’s played more seasons than messi
and messi played whole life in barca look at now messi🤡
@@D3V1N9 messi 7 is better than ronaldo 7🥱😉
This guy on the left thinks you run more on a basketball court than on a 120m football pitch that's hilarious and he keeps saying I played both like he knows something
my man on the left talked about everything besides football in this video.
The reason why football isn't too intense when you're watching messi is because you're confident he's gonna score❣
that dude on the right talking about stats acting smart, saying Messi is better because he has a better goal ratio than Ronaldo. You cant just look at the stats without the context, you need to see who they played and where they played. Messi played in the same league all of his career (expect recently that he moved to PSG) while Ronaldo played in 4 different leagues, he has to adapt to different languages, different playstyles etc. When Ronaldo was playing in the same league as Messi was, he averaged MORE goals than games, he scored 450 goals in 438 games, he had an average of 1.03 goals per game, meanwhile, Messi had a 0.99, which is still nuts. But obviously football isnt just about goals
Those clowns don’t understand the sport, I wouldn’t bother wasting your time explaining it to them
When Zel said “u neek” i laughed so harrd lmaooo🤣🤣
The guy on the left wont shut up, hes been speaking stuff that dont make sense consistently whereas the other 2 are trying to react to the vid
You'd be surprised how good the endurance is of these footballers, there is a reason you don't see many big guys in football (soccer) because fitness is the most important physical aspect of the professional game. Just looked it up and Basketball players run an average of under 3 miles a game vs 7 miles for football (soccer) players. Yes basketball is more intense, but has more breaks and lasts less time. I'm very confident that soccer players would have significantly better endurance overall.
Messi scores more goals as an average footballer, has more assists, clearly a better dribbler and also has more accuracy and also Messi is the better clutch player due to his goals in finals and determining matches like knockout stages
Yeah but modern day ronaldo moments have people completely forgetting how clutch Messi was
@@JohanCruyff-the-Dutch-GOAT agree. But at the same time, messi has not stepped it up in recent times. Even missed the penalty against real Madrid a couple of days ago.
Who has more goals in champions league knock out stages...isn't it Ronaldo
@@BenhurKifle yeah as much as I love Messi that’s true the younger days of Messi he was more clutch while Ronaldo fully wasn’t, while Messi now is fully not Ronaldo is more clutch at least compared to messi(I say this cause neither Messi or Ronaldo is stepping up against Liverpool or Porto or Roma or Bayern or Ajax)
Cristiano is more athletic, faster, has the highest jump, better penalties, better freekicks in his prime, good with both feets, more powerfull shoot, has more goals club and internationally while proving himself in the 3 major leagues, UCL goat and top scorer, dont forget his determination and ability of carrying the team. Both are goats.
Larger fields tend to have less intense matches, so if you want intense matches, you should compare basketball to futsal. football with american football and so on...

Trust me in football it's better to play against someone like ronaldo than messi... Ronaldo is an average footballer(In terms of skill) with insane experience and stamina but his moves can be studied and interprated with time. Some people play just like famous players..... and the worst players you want to meet on a pitch are the messi's and zlatans...The Messis leave you confused looking for a ball that's no longer there(Those fast little players) because they don't use existing skills as much they create them on the fly. and the zlatans just leave you hurt...
