For a little context, "El Clasico" is any game between spanish rivals FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. It's the biggest match in Spain and one of the biggest matches in the world (estimating around 50% more views than the NBA Finals). It's a very heated game with a lot of fouls, dirty play and fights throughout its history and became even bigger due to the Ronaldo/Messi rivalry as both players played for the respective teams. All in all, It's an extra flex for both the clubs, players and fans. The top 5 goal scorers are 1 Barcelona player and 4 Real Madrid Players with Messi being the top goalscorer and just behind him in 2nd place is Ronaldo followed by 3 other Real Madrid players. Not all professional soccer players even went to college or played for their high schools they get scouted by professional youth scouts to find young talent all around the world in different places you have to agree to fly out tho different countries to join the training academy so u can be on the team

7:00 he has no idea what he was talking bout here. The man talking in the video was Messi’s coach and was talking on how the play the game of football and their play style.
Yes basically every nation has it's own league. For example the league in England, the Premier League, there is 20 teams, you might of heard of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and some more.
So the teams that finish bottom 3 in that league will get kicked out of the league and get demoted to the 2nd division, which is the championship. Meaning a huge revenue loss, popularity, and of course losing a lot of good players to teams in the top division Premier League. The 3 positions will be fullfilled of 3 teams from Englands 2nd division, basically taking the top 3 teams of the 2nd division in England (Championship) and promoting them to the Premier League.
Then you also have qualification for European tournaments next season, basically you've to finish top 4 to get into the Champions League next season, think of it like the Playoffs, just bigger and with the best clubs around Europe.
This way there is always important games through the whole season. Teams will be fighting to stay in the league, and some teams will be fighting for the top 4 spots and top 6 spots to qualify for European tournaments. Meaning if a top team for example Manchester United don't finish in the top 4, the fans will be angry and disappointed with the season, and the club will also lose revenue due to not getting European football next season.
It seems more difficult than it actually is. Just try play some career mode on Fifa and it should be more understandable.

I'm a palace fan and I rate ronaldo higher for these reasons:
Ronaldo has done it in 3 different top leagues, there's no questions to ask if he can do it here or there etc. If you compare the teams he's performed well and had the best stats against ronaldo has better stats and he's the undeniable king of the champions league and he's also better for portugal than messi has been for argentina. Messi has more natural talent but ronaldo has left no questions and has undeniably adapted and maintained the same level into every situation he's been put in.
