I remember watching that video of Ned laying down and his head hitting Alex's lap when it came out and thinking how inappropriate that was... Ned laid down and didn't reposition himself when he hit Alex's lap. He just settled in. That speaks to a level of comfort that is not appropriate for a co-worker. It made me feel uncomfortable when I saw it and I immediately thought of it when the scandal went public.

My ex fiancé was a cheater and they just can’t stop. I caught him having. 3 month long affair, but we stayed together trying to work things out. Then I caught him 2 more times texting other women.
It’s like they can’t stop and security from 1 person is not enough. They are longing for some attention from other people and feeling wanted. They are very insecure from within and you really can’t change them.

Some people like the idea of “breaking” a relationship or seducing someone in a relationship, also some people like sneaking behind their partners, it gives them excitement. It’s not a logical decision, it’s just a selfish decision
I can't imagine what it felt like for Ariel and Will, seeing them together in videos after they cheated once before. All those doubts probably rise up time and again and Ned and Alex probably assure them all the time that it was just that one time and nothing else.. all to be proven that their suspicions were correct..

It probably goes deeper than that. Most likely she can't afford to raise two kids all by herself (cause let's face it LA is hella expensive) Or maybe she's had pressure from her family/friends to "make the marriage work." We really don't know what her reasons are and unless she decides to share them with us, we shouldn't pass judgement on her as the victim.
This is why I no longer believe in love. This is how most relationships end up these days 😒

I don't watch them, never did, but I think part of what I can imagine is highly angering is the lack of care. Like, I'm sorry, you're sitting out at a '*public lunch* with this person? Do you not care about anyone else at all? The complete lack of discretion and willingness to be so casually public is the icing on top of the cake. Like as a coworker and a friend I would be absolutely livid.

I think that there might be more. I've seen a few Reddit threads where people disclose that they've seen the Try Guys at like a bar or smth and Ned got drunk and starting hitting on the original poster or one of their friends. Which sucks. So much.
They were probably pulling the money together to buy out Ned's share which is pretty damn expensive, theyd been editing him out for a while before it all exploded

As I was watching, I figured the jokes the Try Guys were making about cheating was an incident not pertaining to Alex and the fact that Ariel said that she had to make sure he didn't invite his most recent ex to their WEDDING just supported that. And the fact that he invited MANY people he slept with??? DISGUSTING!!!
I knew they were icky because Ariel used to ALWAYS play devil’s advocate on the most basic feminist issues and it was so annoying, I stopped listening to the podcast. And Ned did the same exact thing on the Try Guys pod lol. So I was not surprised when she said she would stand by him even after he flagrantly cheated on her.

You really didn't add that clip of Kelsey to say that the internet shouldn't be nice to women... As if women's lives haven't been ruined from the internet, both the ones in front of the camera and the ones watching. Kelsey wasn't a good person back then (she was referring to an abusive relationship) but she isn't representative of women, a small case doesn't generalize an entire gender. Female oppression does exist and I assume Eugene is trying to make sure that two parties are EQUALLY blamed.
