Table saw to split the box yes 🤔. Definitely mortise hinges. Great idea still. I have about 20 knives I’ve made that need these to help sell them. Thanks
Nice box and presentation of a beautiful knife! In my experience you get away with this sort of glueup (although there are parts where endgrain is glued) for such smaller pieces and do not have to use e.g. finger joints. Would have loved to see hidden or „sinked“ hinges but it’s certainly a nice box as it is. 🙋🏻♀️Anna
