i have a very particular design for a knife (3.5 inch blade, 4 inch handle; 7.5 total tip to tang) and i don't care what the metallurgic composition is as long as the steel has 1.2% vanadium in it. Can you accomodate?

With brass pins you should not need or use glue....
Cualquiera puede con poca herramienta lo puede hacer si ya tienes el damasco hecho la cosa es hacer el patrón del damasco

You are not forging a knife you are cutting a piece of flat stock into the shape of a knife and the grinding it down what the point of all that equipment I can do what you just did with a hand gringer and a drill
