Hello! Your video came up when searching sv650 rebuilds. You didn´t get covered in fuel because you removed the vacuum hose first, as this bikes uses vacuum instead of gravity to feed the carburators with fuel. If you remove the fuel line first, fuel will normally come out but, looking at the condition of that gas tank, the petcock would probably be stuck with rust.
