It never gets any easier seeing old clips of Anthony. RIP brother.
I hear his last meal was hanger steak.

It ALSO never gets old.
Gonna miss you Mr. Bourdain. The most authentic voice on TV.
Damn I love his voice
He's so right. I was a picky eater growing up and it annoyed me so much when my parents tried to pressure me to try different things.
"You think anyone in Rwanda has gotta f@€¥in lactose intolerance?"
Chris Rock
Now as an adult, do you run around trying all the interesting stuff you missed out on as a kid? I was very picky as a kid as well and now I'm all over the place.
Always hated kids that were picky eaters, still do.
Gabe Solomon Yes I’m definitely a lot better than I was before.
@@patrickmclaughlin61 Actually yes, sub-Saharan Africans have the highest rate of lactose intolerance in the world
This is such a great moment. Bourdain with sharp parenting wisdom, and Conan with a fantastic follow up "a kid that tastes the wine and sends it back"
I envied A.B. for his travels, honesty and bold thinking.
RIP A.B.
100%
God Bless you, Anthony. I pray that you have found the peace in heaven that earth could not provide. Rest in love. Sending love from Memphis.
What a kind comment. Thank you for your kind words.
RIP Bourdain
Amen 🙏🏽 idk u but GodBlessYou and ur family friends and loved ones In Jesus Name I Pray Amen 🙏🏽 the ones who commented and didn’t and to the ones who liked like and didn’t and don’t
There is no heaven it is a idea invented by man exactly like Egypt praying to RA. Or Indians praying to a sun god. All invented Ideas Jesus never existed. Foolish Idea about Noah's Ark because if that was true we are long overdue. The world is full ov evil. And if that was true that means a so called loving killed innocent people.Men women and children..
Foolish me to fall in love with this man after he died.
Anthony Bourdain is definitely in my top 5 of favorite chefs/foodie folk.
HongKongPhooey89
saamee
HongKongPhooey89 definitely agree
who is the rest?
Reverse psychology. I never thought about doing that with food. Damn. I feel like an idiot now lol.
Can we all agree that he definitely had a conversation with some parent about little Hunter and it pissed him off.
Missed him out of nowhere so I came here
Man ...Conan is really quick with the clever quips. Miss you Mr Bourdain. RIP
Got a short "kid foodie" story, based on first-hand experience.
When I waited tables, I had a table where a 5 year old ordered a Medium/Rare Burger topped w/ Bleu Cheese and a glass of Diet Coke.
HE ordered it. Not his parents... the kid ordered that. I looked to his parents, for approval, and they just shrugged their shoulders in confusion and tried to hide the fear they felt from stark realization that they were raising a future serial killer. The tension was palpable... but overall a great table! Tipped well.
palpable!
"shrugged their shoulders in confusion" is the chilling part. They're beyond doing anything about it.
Lot of ignorant people coming back on this video just to talk bad about Mr. Bourdain. People that say it was selfish of him to do what he did have no idea what the man was going through.
Agreed. People who have never experienced severe depression simply cannot understand.
Maybe he just didn't kill himself?
RIP
Frank Aguirre shut up
😢😔 he left a little girl behind
I love his viewpoint on this.
Didn’t know that he left a daughter behind.
It’s sad that he’s gone. I hope that he’s in a better spiritual place now.
Best cookbook I own, hands down
Miss him so much.
You're an inspiration Anthony Bourdain!
im reading his book now. Its amazing.
EDKsurly it is one of the most straight forward cook book I've read
“A kid who tastes the wine and sends it back. No wait, that’s wrong for four reasons.”
Would love to know what those reasons are.
I'll give the first he's a kid.
@slightlydepressedpineapple third, he's a kid.
- raising kid wrong (the topic of the discussion)
- kid shouldn't be drinking wine
- sending wine back on basis of taste (it is to satisfy you that it has been corked properly and isn't spoiled or full of cork fragments)
I don't know the fourth reason, I think that's the joke.
A month later and still feeling it. R. I. P. Anthony
this is the interview which introduced me to him. RIP
a kid that tastes the wine and sends back LLLOOLLL
Anthony is red because of the Magnificent Ginger Glow coming from the hair of the conan.
A kid that tastes wine and sends it back... oh wait that’s for four reasons. 🤣🤣 hahahahah
I discovered sushi when I was 10 yo and I loved it. My friends at school didnt understand it. I wanted to eat it every week and since then its been like that
I wonder if the cover art of his book is indicative of how he felt inside :-/
his my hero I love this guy
I miss him so much man
A brilliant human, tragic day when he left... ♥️ 😢 RIP and God bless you Mr. Bourdain
I hope he is okay wherever he is ❤️
"I'm so glad at my little Hunter, he eats sushi."

Anthony Bourdain has some pretty badass book they can be wild just like him but they are pretty good

Conan man- JORDAN SCHLANSKY MAN LEGIT
I really hope he said 'Hunter' because that's Guy Fieri's son's name
I think it was just a generic trash name.
how many mics is conan wearing? dude is loud
I NEVER liked noodles and butter BUT I’m gonna try it now
Dude... thank you. I work in the biz, and yelping, picture taking, hipster, foodies, are the proverbial festering carbuncles of the food world.
wait 4 whats the other 2?
Jesus, his daughter was only 11 when he passed. What a horrible tragedy.
I didn't know he left a kid behind. Man.
00:41 if you want your heart broken
watching this & just remembered that he's gone..
he's so right xD
RIP Anthony
RIP TO THE GOAT
I love noodles and butter.
Rest in peace...
Rip
Hhmm! Im gonna try that strategy with my daughter 😎🤘🏻😂
Hey...that's Bastard Chef!
R.I.P
Tony ♾❤️ always with me 100%
I have to pee real bad
Mensa needs you back, so better hurry
I have to poop, let's be brothers
I got an idea!: You take your pants down and sit on the toilet so you can poop but make sure your legs are wide spread, and while you do it, this other guy stands in front of you also taking his pants down and pees aiming through your crotch gap...pretty cool uh..this way you can be friends forever
faboze I love the dp
I think this is a classic example of why you don't read the comments before you see the video. At least that's what I'm hoping this is.
my kid loves miso hes so enlightened.
I MISS HIM BROS
My problem growing up, actually, was that I was the child of a really picky eater and even as a child I had a VERY adventurous palate. It's just who I was. Mine and my parents' taste in food clashes powerfully to this day. So, while I craved wild and diverse flavors, I was served crap like frozen lasagna and pepperoni pizza (those were our special Sunday night meals but during the week, well... there were literally years of my life where I ended up just living on broccoli. My mom cared a lot about nutrition but if she had her way all she would ever cook me for a main dish would be things like pasta, oatmeal, grilled cheese. She hates meat, hates seafood meat even more, doesn't care for well spiced foods, and kinda just lives off cheese, bread, and sometimes eggs with fruits and veggies thrown in for health. So she basically just let me eat broccoli and apples and bananas most of my life because to me they had the richest flavor of all the stuff she offered. What life altering days when I finally got to taste seafood, Indian food, Japanese, Thai, middle eastern. I almost felt like a child of neglect lol
I understand, though. It's somewhat normal for children to be sensitive about food because everything in the world is still a new, evolving experience. Something too unusual can feel jarring, and they have an evolutionary sense to avoid anything questionable.
But the thing is I tried to introduce my son to a wide variety of flavors and textures as soon as he was ready to eat and interested in food. He loved it at first but then quickly became a super picky eater. He refuses to eat animals out of love for them, which I don't mind really, but I'm disappointed that my effort in the beginning did nothing. Instead, somewhat like me, he eats more fruits and vegetables than other things. His other options are eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, cheese, pasta, lots of nuts, with some unusual things like nori thrown in, etc. So basically it's my childhood in total reverse. I guess it skipped a generation LOL
Well you should feel lucky to get good and healthy food habits from your childhood.
Is he Ross dad in friends
No. That was Elliot Gould, but I definitely see the resemblance, even the voice.
My first thought "Anthony's kinda red" was immediately followed by "Yay Anthony and Conan!" Why do people only write their 1st thoughts? Is it to have something to write? Is his face more important than his story?
😂😂😂
My first thought was "yay Anthony and conan!", And was followed by "why is he red?"
Why do people only write their 1st thoughts? I have no idea. But how do you know what's other people's 1st thoughts?
The man is a legend but Bourdain does seems nervous
My kids are foodies. They eat Sushi; I have a video of my then 2 year old downing a raw oyster and asking for another..
i think he ate too many brine shrimp cocktails

Why must we believe in something after death? Why is considering death a finale so horrifying to people? Tell me what was going on with you before you were born? Exactly. You don’t remember if anything and most people don’t recall much before the age of 4 or 5 with few exceptions. I’m grateful for videography so that I can watch Anthony Bourdains past recordings.
Expose kids to all kinds of foods and let them experience things and don't shame or pressure them. Don't make such a big deal out of what they're eating or not eating, just make sure you're not feeding them junk all day and that there's reasonable structure. The games that parents play with food, using it as punishment or reward, shaming kids for the amount they're eating, etc., is all so harmful and unnecessary.
His daughter has gotta be like 15 now. Poor kid.
yes tony.... OVERTAN sequence initiated..
Divorce is tough, no matter who you are
stingray427man Divorce are tought for couples who had heavily invested their time and emotions on hoping everything will work out. Look at people from the West especially their celebrities, they get married many times...you can already see their personalities by that...
I love and miss Anthony but every time I remember he had a kid I get SO angry that he killed himself. That option is off the table if you have a child.
Jury is still out on that. A lot of sketchy people around him just before his death.
Nothing worse than a child acting like an adult 😂
im just shy of 50, ive still never even had Sushi or many other trendy in style foods because i am very working class. you eat what you can afford.
It's all about context. You can buy cheap sushi at the grocery store or convenience store in Japan, obviously very approachable and affordable for average or lower-class Japanese. I think it's just treated as 'fancy food' because people see that they can trick customers in to paying high prices through branding it that way even though their work isn't all that. Of course there is expensive, high-quality sushi in Japan, but it's much better than the over-priced stuff that passes for quality in most Western countries.
If you get a chance you should try some authentic, no-frills sushi. It's quite nice.
Am I the only one wondering what the fourth reason is?
Cheapest meal ever hahaha :-)
He looks like Hellboy
He is transitioning to stage 4. No more me, but we!
Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be foodies.......
My son wasn't raised "foodie" but always wanted to try everything. He has been on a quest to find the perfect French onion soup for the last 10 years and he's 17. :)
TjBoyd he hasn't tried mine, dear... really, 10 years on a quest!!???!!! you've raised a true BRAT!!!!!
anthony bourdain my daddy
He kinda looks like the Shah of Iran
Foodies for the win! Go Conan!!

You are just as funny as Graham Norton please get rid of that desk
funny about kids , when my two little terrorists were kids they lived on cheese toasted sandwiches .
this is so sad to see now. :(
Can I get an F for big daddy bourdain
Blogger Alexander Lapshin Claims Anthony Bourdain Received Threats From Azerbaijan's Authorities
Can a white person please explain to me why this man is bright red..
half cherokee and choctaw?
sun burn...from the stage lights?
Alcohol
Why do you think us white people would know?
Alcohol, nerves, sunburn..mixture of all 3 and some red spray paint
He definitely was anxious a lot of times doing these things. Wouldn't be surprised if he also had depression.
Please get rid of that desk I posted something before and I use the F word and I think it got deleted please get rid of that desk
It will be a day of celebration when the "foodie" thing and it's annoying adherents, "the foodies" goes away.
This is the truth. We eat very clean & organic, the kids grew up knowing quality. Now on college campus my kid has become a vegetarian because all the meats scare her, there's nothing quality on the meal plan. When she comes home she's asked for grass-fed steak & marrow...guess what we're having for Thanksgiving.
Elephant casserole?
Dan L
How'd you guess?
tkmaz ... vegetarian asking for steak
Barbara Wasilak
Vegetarian on campus. ;)
Buttered noodles? As an Italian.....WAT?
I disagree with him! It's one thing to force a kid to finish the food on the plate but it's completely different to offer a variety of things to a child. My child eats what we eat and I don't see the point of offering him chicken nuggets when I'm making curry for dinner.
Still is me me Me....u left ur daughter fatherless
F
yeah, and epstein killed himself
